THAT is a really neat set up,, it makes me wish I had 'climes' in my crawl course that would give reason to install it. I'm presently staring at a new Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster 540 20T and the building courage to install t in my Capra. My TRX4 is so easy for my large, unsure hands to sort out doing upgrades. Working on the Capra is tantamount to an Olympic powerlifter dancing ballet.

It’s just a B bc you have to remove the cage first. Anytime I can mod things without removing the cage I count it a blessing.

Spare time hobbies has had a bolt in full size servo winch mount since the Capra came out. And also the hood and roof side winch pieces. JS

I cant wait until these give aways begin!!!

Neat addition. I’ve yet to get into crawlers or rock hoppers. I just like speed and bashing to much at this point. 😂. But it does mean for a lot of wrenching!

Just thinking...what about running the winch upside-down?...would you still have to clearance the plastic? Would it be a straight line shot to the front? And why spend all that money on "rc winch line" when you can use 100 pound Spider-Wire?..way more cost-effective, line is smaller so you can use more line and its stronger.

Ok ok, I’m starting to see the appeal of RC crawlers. Now I’m going shopping lol. What’s the difference between the Capra and the bomber?

you should do a waterfall where you went up the V and let a inch or two of water sit in the V going draining a reservoir with a solo powered pond pump. if you let water run on it 24/7 it will grow moss and do all kinds of neat stuff. also you ever thought about concreting in little cups of soil to grow small trees? you could take advantage of the florida weather and have a jungle run

I do want a waterfall but I would specifically build it as a waterfall, as for Florida vegetation its a battle to keep it from overgrowing the course as it is.

Do/would YOU prefer the dsm bungee or the winch? Seems, 2 me, the bungee would be faster.

bungee is awesome and I use that mostly, fitting one of those on the capra is almost impossible so this is the best option.

I would get the Capra it’s a really good car but I don’t like the servo on the axle

SOA is for performance and for this style vehicle it’s very scale. Most vehicles like this have full hydraulic steering. So basically a hydraulic servo on axle.
