Reduce Strain to Improve Eyesight: Nathan Oxenfeld, Bates Method & Integral Eyesight Improvement

Nathan Oxenfeld is a Certified Bates Method Teacher and the founder of Integral Eyesight Improvement. He is the author of Give Up Your Glasses For Good: Holistic Eye Care for the 21st Century, the host of The Naked Eye Podcast.
In this conversation Nathan and I cover the principles of his approach to eyesight health with special attention to reducing strain of eye muscles, other connective tissue in the head and more widely across the body. There is overlap with this holistic approach to eye care and approaches used by other body focused therapists that use interoceptive awareness as a means to reduce stress and improve wellbeing.

Very enlightening video! Can reducing strain also improve age related farsightedness?

Swinging is the only exercise for relaxation of eyes muscles, all others are about nothing, worse than that - harmful misconceptions that waste time and clog the brain. Often they still confuse cause with effect, for example, they saw poorly and did not notice the 3D, peripheral, and then for some reason they decided that they should have noticed, and their vision would have improved.
