This is nothing like Bell’s holdout, y’all. Trent will be on the field this year. He can’t afford to sit out on his two year contract when he’s on the wrong side of 30 and he hasn’t played well enough recently to raise his leverage.

You know how it is, nothing new. Always good to see ya in the comments Joe, feels like this was the shortest offseason ever.

I gotta admit, I myself am pretty excited for the season. The skins are younger, faster, and have a blue collar disposition to them that I think will serve them well in the long run. I agree that our strengths lie on the dline and the running backs and we should win games with those units , but I'm very curious about the recievers. Each wide receiver has a unique skillset which, if developed, can cause alot of trouble for opposing secondaries, I hope we can make use of that unit as well. I'm hoping Doctson pushes himself now that there are other players biting for action.In regards to his comments, I'm not bothered, all I care is that he produces and Jordan Reed...sigh..... I guess we should hope for the best, but not come to rely on him too much should he get hurt. Kerrigan has been one of my favorite players on the team since he got here, he may not be viewed as an elite pass rusher but he is solid and very underappreciated by most folks . I'm hoping he breaks Dexter Manley's record and becomes the Redskins all time leading sack artist, he deserves it . Hopefully the Trent Williams thing sorts itself out , but other than that, I'm hoping for a fun football season, we have seen that if the skins can stay relatively healthy and play to their strengths, they can beat any team in the league, let's hope that they do just that. The wild thing is that the team is saying Trent will be in camp while the media is saying he won't...time will tell who is lying.

@@HTTR4LIFE yes we shall, trent is a pro, even if he misses training camp, I'm confident he will have no problem stepping in on a live game with no practice reps

We just cut Mason Foster.

@@WahooBrad24 timing was a little surprising is all...good to see the team going younger and faster with Holcomb, hopefully...Bostic made it easier too. Saved 4 million in the process.

and yeah I don't expect many surprises in terms of cuts this year...maybe Doctson, but doubtful.

HTTR4LIFE I can see Doctson being traded. Maybe not during camp, but during the season before the trade deadline. I would like to see some us get something in return for him since he most likely won’t be back with us next year.
