The number of former team captains we drafted was impressive this year...hopefully the two first-rounders pan out the way I hope and become Redskins greats. I personally think Kelvin Harmon from NC State is going to be the steal of our draft.

@@HTTR4LIFE I've said before, you got the two players, in the 1st round, I thought we'd get in Haskins, and Sweat. Out of our draft, I liked the DeAndre Baker pick the best. If you guys can stay healthy(and it's already started bad for you with the Foster injury) I think you'll compete for The NFC East.

@@BaddogSports Baker was on my short list for months during/since last college season. I'm big on Dexter Lawrence as well...350lb guy who can play tackle and end?? That's the stuff of nightmares.

Dwayne Haskins has been a QB since grade school and wins QB battles during practice all his life ! Haskins is a great pocket passer and really will break the ice for black QBs as in the past had to be a great runner ! This QB is a winner with smarts of looking off safeties and reading coverages and has been playing the pro NFL style offense at Ohio State ! I did not think he would be there at 15th but no black pocket passer ever was a starter in the NFL except maybe Warren Moon who was not a runner imop ! Size matters in the pocket and Haskins is like a LB to tackle and is unaffected with hands on him getting hit he is still accurate ! Haskins will end up a very good gun slinger not a mediocre passer but how much time does he need on the field to learn winning at the NFL level ! A very good running game will be a big help ! Thank the Giants for a great pocket passer who took the 7th rated QB in the ACC conference ? Haskins is the real deal !

Kelvin Harmon is a steal. He gots great hands and uses his body to position CB's out of the play. What i like the most about him is that he had a QB that would under throw him and wouldn't lead him on routes. Which made him fight back to snatch the ball at it's highest point. His hands are great, and turns up field good after the catch, but it's elusiveness is what he lacks. I do not believe he will juke and shake CB's, but I believe he will overpower CB's. Really looking to forward to seeing him.

Hail from the UK! Well, I stayed up to watch the 1st round and it was worth it. I was in the Lock camp, to be honest but not much to really complain about with the way things went. Well done Redskins, well done overall. I never thought Haskins would be there, at all. The only player we got that was on my board was Kelvin Harmon. He's what I call a Redskins WR, he believes, every ball thrown his way is his and will fight anyone that says different and he's fast, to boot! Terry McLaurin, I had to look up. The guy is a workhorse with single-minded determination and attitude to his job, wants the ball and a team player, willing to put himself on the line. Martin reminds me of Brandon Scherff and Holcomb just looks like a baller, love his energy. I love all the pick, truth be told. If everyone stays healthy, the league is gonna be in a world of pain. Let Haskins win the spot, don't rush, remember how that worked out for us last time? Hopefully, our debt is paid and the football gods are with us now. #HTTR4LIFE

totally agree with an A grade. really like Bryce Love and you made a geeat point about CT wanting a big deal once his current contract ends, great planning for the future. the one player I hadn't looked at was Wes Martin but you can see in his film that he's a powerful blocker, though may need work with his footwork. Harmon was probably the steal of day three, i think he may be productive very quickly. the most impressive thing was the type of characters we've brought in, almost all are leaders and that can only improve us

Before the draft I said if we can land haskins and sweat without giving up the team it would be a win an last year unsaid if we can get Payne and guice it will b a win. Let's see if my predictions pan out. And the year before that I wanted us to trade up for Johnathon Allen.

I think folks have a warped thought on speed now that we live in the era of 4.3's...I remember Deion getting like a 4.27 and everyone going crazy. Now when I receiver hits the 4.5 mark people are like "ho-hum he's slow" when the truth is that's still pretty fast.

According the link below, Moreland ran his 40 yd. dash in the 4.38-4.44 range at his pro day. For right now, I can see him being a special teams player such as a punt or kick returner. www.rotoworld.com/college-football/nfl-draft/player/50308/jimmy-moreland
