My father was a German-trained carpenter that worked proudly with his hands, up until the day he died at the age of 52 in an accident. He taught me that his hands put food on our table, and clothes on our backs. Machines will NEVER replace the hands of a trained craftsman. Brian, I hope that when you have children you'll pass your craft down to them.

I don’t wear them at work because I’m on concrete all day and they don’t hav the support I need. I was just thinking about them the other day. I’m going to be retiring soon and I’ll probably wear them more when I’m not stuck on a concrete floor for 9-11 hours a day.
