I'm hooked on this don't know why but its relaxing and therapeutic seeing something getting restored.
Every week that machine tells him to wear eye protection and every week he refuses. Be safe Brian!

Safety gear doesn't prevent accidents skill and experience does. Safety gear minimizes the damage after an accident. Two very different things. Personally I wear my PPE 90% of the time and remove it when experience tells me it's safe to do so.

☝️ this is my safety!
My grandfather taught me alot about shoe/boot care. This video gives me that nostalgia even tho he's been gone for 12 years now. Thank you for that.
Hi Brian your videos bring joy to my heart . I don't know who taught you the trade but i bet he's proud of you. I'm an old man now but my dad taught me mine . It's a delight to see a young man taking pride in his work. Your hands and mind work as one in a way only a tradesman knows . Thanks for the videos and the memories they bring me.
Brian…. please do not stop making these videos that display the skill you perform, and have instrumental music in the background. I suffer from a fairly severe anxiety disorder, and your videos blend two of my favorite things….craftsmanship and music. I am a general, contractor, and we too pride ourselves in the renovations we do for our clients, and I also play guitar. Love it all man. You truly have no idea how much these videos bring a sense of peace to me. Thank you
A sweet and soothing video resole, and always with some of the sweetest music. Mahalos!
I love the videos the passion you have for your work really comes through. I especially love the respect you give to your teacher someone who poured their heart and craft into you. I pray God continues to bless you.
Hey Brian, any chance we could have one of these videos without music so we can hear the atmosphere around you, tools, and machines? I'd definitely love that.

Yes that’s a good idea. Not that the music isn’t great. Totally wanna delve into your workspace when resoling & rebuilding boots. Unless of course Brian is listening to something like Barbara Streisand while he’s working.

Great music, but maybe change it up to just the shop noise and stuff. Good idea!

...Or a combination of both would be nice! Have the music, but have the shop sounds in there along with it. Love the videos!
Got an exact pair of them myself. Amazing boots. Hats off to you man for keeping an old profession alive.
Awesome work as always! I’d live to see more leather cleaning and restoring videos. It’s so satisfying to see you refresh old boots.
The Role Club sole is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. Another pair of shoes given soul. 🌞☮️🥾
Brian, thank you another showcase of your talent! You make that look so easy and there lies your true skills. Awesome job again....

Love your work Brian! The music adds to the relaxingbnature of watching. Todd the retired trucker.
This is the best Iron Ranger to date. I’ll be sending you my Charcoal Rough n Tough in a year or so to get this done👍🏻
I wanted a pair of Iron Rangers before I found your channel but now I want a resoled pair. The professionalism and detail make your videos very relaxing.

These videos are so peaceful and such high quality.
You are amazing at your trade Brian. Great attention to detail!
I really enjoy watching your videos - satisfying and relaxing at the same time!
I think that these type of episodes satisfy is because you see the start and end of the job. Not many people these days start a job and have the satisfaction of seeing it through to the customer smiling picking it up. Keep up the good work. And yes, use eye protection
Love the acoustic guitar music you use. Amazing craftsmanship.
Yeah we love our Iron Rangers and we love your channel too! Some of the best medicine on KZread.
This is some of the most beautiful instrumental music I’ve ever had the pleasure to listen to. Makes me wish I knew how to play the guitar.
You are a real artist!🎨 Congrats!👏 Greetings from Athens 🇬🇷
Excellent work that so few know how to do anymore. Awesome hat too!
Great video again Brian, and great color combination for the boots, I really like the music no complaints whatsoever,, but I really want to hear that nice machine stitching! “Role Club Rangers “ !
I never thought any video would lead me to take better care of my boots, but you’ve just done it!
I love your attention to detail. Great work
What a superbly therapeutic video. Wonderful to watch a true craftsman.
Nice work Brian. Excellent job.
I truly wish that shoe repair and boot making had been available to me when I was much younger. I know that I would have been very good at it. Thanks Brian for all your fantastic videos .

Wow they look great! You're right, I love my Iron Rangers.
Just started looking up redwing vs Irish setter comparison and this channel popped up on my feed. Prob 20 vids in now, there goes my day.

Well done Brian. Thanks
Great video once again! So relaxing watching your videos. I am still wanting you to do a pair of my boots when the time comes.
I unironically love that disgusting little glue bottle. It really adds to the cobbler atmosphere.

My great uncle made me clean off the outside of the glue bottles once as punishment for rough housing inside the shop with my cousin, I kept it outside after that. My cousin had to clean out the bag on the sanders

I agree. Little touches like that are surprisingly effective at building atmosphere.
What a difference using a last makes in rebuilding a pair of boots. Nice work, young man.

I live iron rangers and Brian just made those look a thousand times better
Impressive skills !! True artist !!!
This is art.
Beautiful work 👍
Work of art my friend
Iron Rangers get their name from an area in Minnesota, a few hours north of where Red Wings are made. As someone from the Iron Range, I definitely love a good pair of Rangers! They'll always remind me of home!
Great video The trades will be a needed concept. Need to find an apprentice, and pass the skill set.
I just picked up a pair of previously enjoyed Iron Ranger boots. I'm gonna wear the rest of the sole out and then send them in to Brain for a little resole magic.
I know where I’m taking my Iron Rangers when it’s time for a resole. 👍
I don't know why, but this is very relaxing. Good job.
Pero que hermoso trabajo, what a beautiful Job ❤️
Amazing job, I love my iron rangers!
Mad skills, man!
U deserve fortune and success. 👍🏻
👍... Ur hands are a work of art..
Whoever does your camera work is great, and your music choices are perfect. It's a pleasure to watch you work and create something new. Question: Do you ever work on or make women's boots? Where I live, boots are standard wear for men and women. Thank you for sharing a peek inside your creative process. You do superb work!

He's said before that his girlfriend films all of his videos.
Hi Brian, thanks for making excellent content. You have a superb talent, and a really great channel. I came upon a pair of vintage Red Wings, and they have never been worn. The only thing wrong is the heel insole came unglued in both boots. Is there a special glue that I need to use? Or can shoe goo work?
Beautiful job👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great job !!
Great video and craftwork as always, why is the sole stitching not recessed into the sole, doesnt it wear through fast, or is this hows its always done, curious.
Chingon tu trabajo!
Brian is a true old world craftsman
Quite the jump there between when he’s looking bemused at the boot that’s just shown it’ll need more work than he thought, and attaching the new sole.
Hey Brian. Thanks again for the great videos. I've watched a few of these resoles and for the boots with cork as part of the footbed the cork always looks destroyed for lack of a better term. I get that cork is softer and more fragile than the other elements in the boot. How long does it last, for instance in an Iron Ranger, and how does it affect when you should resole one's boots?
Red Wing should take notice of how you improve an already good boot. Mine are close to being as worn as those. I'm going to email you for a price. Great work as usual better than from the factory.
Love your vids!! Haven't seen a steel toe fix, have you done anything like that bro? Like steel showing through leather? If you haven't I'd love to send you a pair (I'll pay of course), 2 pair even. Love your work.
This guy is superb.
Any guy who swings a hammer near the family jewels without getting hurt is a definite Pro!
Pure Art . 👏👏👏👏
were these stitchdowns instead of goodyear welts? love the vids bro
Как всегда высшая оценка работы
Hey brian, when you replace the sole do you replace it as a whole including the insole where you stitch the body to a whole new sole? Like what you did to nike air max
Otra maravilla de trabajo bien hecho. Sueño con tener unas “iron rangers” con tus suelas del club. Si no estuvieran tan caras ....... €€€. 😏
That’s a handsome pair of boots made all the better with a improved sole! I would also like to know why you spray the sole before you stitch it to the boot; to reduce friction? Lubrication?

Hi Brian..It's me Ken from Malaysia.like your work!!
Most impressive!
Amazing old school talent...
