yellow card stays with a team for the whole match, not just a set for FIVB rules and for disqualification the player needs to leave the competition control area, not just the playing area in my personal opinion, the sanctions can be handled better by calling over the captain and explain the questions need to go through him to the first referee and not just hands out sanctions to #12 with no explanation anyway props to the one guy red team for not cheering for the disqualification

You are completely correct about the yellow card, that is a mistake from my side! :)

from the start of the clip, it looks as the ball was blocked and the blocker potion 2 retrieved the ball which look like it was blocked in the playing and not a torch out. this was the initial reaction from the white team I presume. as a 1st referee I would have consulted with the 2 ref and decide accordingly just my thought

So like yellow card is used for speaking innapropiate words or breaking rules and red card is point loss. Yellow card cannot be used more then 3 times so the red card is used except the 3time.

Question, reading the rules... a referee can show 2 yellow cards for a team in the whole match. One, for a player conduct. Other, for delaying the game for some reason. It is that totally true? I saw matches recently who a referee shows 2 yellow cards in the same set.

That can happen! A yellow card can be given for the team and a yellow card can also be given for a participant on the team. Just remember that the delaying card is given to the team and not a player, while the ordinary yellow card is given to a participant.

Unless the rules here are different in the Netherlands, but the lowest player sanction available is a red card.

When the player is sent off, he will be replaced by another player or the team will play only with 5 players? Like football.

A volleyball team needs 6 players, otherwise it will be called incomplete and will lose the set/game. Therefore an expulsed or disqualified player has to be legally substituted immediatly, if the team cannot legally substitute they will be called incomplete....

Funny this happened when the score was 3-1 early into the set. Testosterone got him removed from the game. This never happens with Women's volleyball, not at 3-1. Hahaha. Good job ref's.

What kind of punishment did the referee get after this match for his awful performance?
