I come back to this video every time I play this game. Still don’t fully understand this puzzle. Easily the hardest in the game IMO.

Whoa... that brings back memories. That second puzzle drove me insane back in 6th grade when this game came out... so much so that I actually had to call the hint line at Nintendo at the time. The guy who helped me out on the phone was really cool like most game counselors usually are. Only thing this video is missing... where's the solution to the third block puzzle after the second room?

Wtf?? when doing the puzzle with the yellow and red blocks, how on earth am I suppose to drop that red block if there isn't even enough space to drop it in place? It's driving me crazy that it's done so easily in the walkthroughs but when I try to do it, he cannot drop the block because there isn't even space! How did you manage to do it? Are there buttons (that I simply didn't now I was suppose to use) that allow my character to rotate when holding items? If so, then help me out please because he's taking up a lot of space and I'm stuck on this puzzle because of that.

yeah. pressing the R button will allow you to turn in place.

haaaaaaaaaaa finaly i finish i spen a 10 hours in the 2º because i don't know we can turn but i read here i finish how do the puzz kind of easy but in this part i just can do it man i amost crying xD ...tank you RONINZEERO so much *_*

The solution to the second one doesn't even make sense, because the top red block doesn't have a yellow one above it but turns yellow anyway... Edit: OH, diagonals count too...
