You've got Mariana! You've been doing your research watching videos, time for the part that really counts! 🤓 Go with an agency it will make your life easier to have another eye helping prep you and read over everything you're submitting!

Let me add and say how wonderful Alistair is and the number of people I have read reviews from have nothing but sing praises about him. Seemingly EPIK have dropped yet another agency, unless I'm mistaken... You, Palesa Jonas Leti Maps , are amongst the few (and others of course) angels who have helped many people and blessings to y'all...

Hi Terry!!! Couldn’t agree more, he really delivers on everything his promises!!! So much so EPIK saw the gab of not having him in the last intake they asked him to come back 🥳 Thank you Terry ❤️ blessings to you tooo!!!

Alistair won’t work with you if you have a dependent, so just be aware. All other recruiters I’ve worked with have no issues with it, just Korean Horizons it seems. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They get paid by epik - they earn money through the recruits epik hires through them. There’s mot that much to it really. All they do is ensure you complete the application correctly, ensure it looks attractive to epik when it comes to the essays and lesson plan section on the application. They then also guide you on the epik interview by sending you the usual questions they ask, give you possible answers then do a practice interview. You still have to do the actual work: complete the application, write the essays and lesson plan, get your documents together, cover the expense of your documents, cover your flight expenses. All they are doing is guiding through the application process - the rest you need to do, and as you’ll soon see it’s not easy 😋🌸 Good luck with the application process

Oh, I don't remember having to do a demo lesson during my interview. I went through Korvia and then passed through with Epik. Are they now doing demo's?

Hey! Can I ask you how long before the EPIK application opening date did you first contact Korean Horizons? Did you contact Alastair before the applications opened for example August 1st for spring intake or did you apply to Korean Horizons on the EPIK opening date? Thank you!!

Hi Yorkshiret, can’t remember exactly when but one is able to contact Koreans Horizons at any time before or during the EPIK application open date.

Basically he just asked more about you and clarifies some of the information on the application while telling you what the next steps are.

Hi I did apply for Korean Horizon the problem is by the time I supposed to Skype with Alistair I got load shedding but Alistair said to me he moved to another candidates and he did not get back to me and I am so worried because I want this opportunity

Hi Bulelani email him and see if he can reschedule you. But for your actual interview with epik you are going to need to make sure you don’t miss it so make sure to check the schedule and make an alternative plan 🌸

On the epik website, it says, "Contact your recruitment agency before filling the application form".🤔

I'm here after coming across info where someone said Korean Horizon cancelled their application without a valid reason I'm now skeptical of sending my application to them

Hi Erica, are they referring to their Korean Horizon application? It’s a 2 step application you first apply to the agency and if they are happy to proceeed with you then then tell you to apply on the EPIK website. If in deed this person had their EPIK application cancelled by Korean Horizon. I’d say Email Alistair (the agency) querying this. Or you can go with another agency like Korvia consulting

Hi Palesa, as long as you have a bachelors degree in the end, doesn’t matter if it’s a college. All they look for is a Bachelor’s degree verified by SAQA your good to go 😋

Hi Musa, which costs ? You have to cover all the expenses yourself. The only thing you will get reimbursed for from EPIK is flights

Hi Thalia, Epik buses will transport all the EPIK teachers to orientation. As for where you will get on to the bus, EPiK/your agency will communicate this to you closer to the time, once you’ve been given an offer and need to start prepping to head for Korea
