    Hi. thanks for sharing. In regards to Afrikaans, how deep is it? is it difficult? I've never done Afrikaans before and seems like i'll have to do it for my PGCE. TIA. I'm also going with Cornerstone

    Didn’t like the idea I had to do Afrikaans but there’s no choice if you study through cornerstone. It’s wasn’t that deep first year. Will see how the second goes. If you would prefer not to do the Afrikaans mate look into another institution. Or maybe your undergrad give more options to choose from for your PGCE modules with cornerstone. For me I had no teaching subjects and thus were restricted in what I could select as my teaching subjects

    Hello , Dumela Anna :) ... I have commented and asked about doing a PGCE via Cornerstone. I have applied and was accepted BUT i need to complete prerequisite modules, however they are suggesting I do Afrikaans (which I've never ever done in my life). Is this true that I cannot do PGCE without Afrikaans as a pre requisite?

    Hey dear since police clearance takes time I was planning to apply to EPIK in Feb 2025 for fall intake but on the website it says PCC must be dated within 6 months of contract start date I'm worried if I do a police on Feb wen applications open it might come back in march or April which is a bit late.which intake did u apply for and wen did you apply for PCC ?

  • @AnnahPokubye
    @AnnahPokubyeАй бұрын

    Hi there, start the PCC in Aug/sep 6 month from them it should still be valid for you to leave in Feb. The key is that the PCC shouldn’t expire before you leaving for Korea. I unfortunately can’t remember the exact day I did my PCC but I counted 6 months

    Life after living abroad is different. It's great to have a plan, but it's okay if you don't have one too. You'l figure it out, eventually. I think of returning back home, not as starting all over, but as starting from experience. I hope people realise that life is not set in stone, and it's okay to give yourself grace, to figure things out. Thank you for sharing your experience, Anna.

    Hi Pato, thanks for watching! I did not forget my life before moving abroad. I was renting in Johannesburg while working. Now I’m struggling to find a job to rent as per before. If you leave your job to work abroad your job isn’t here waiting for you upon return. I did not forget this fact. The purpose of this video is remind ppl of that. That your job isn’t here waiting, so we need to have a plan. And if your plan is to return home and start again that cool too. What works for Peter doesn’t work for Paul.
