Rebecca: "If you're a good person, just don't worry about it" Almost immediate response: "So was it this person???"
If you think about it, this is a lighthearted version of Dune. A charismatic figure cause the masses to act in ways they didn't expect..

Such a charming and heartfelt way to answer the question
It’s very rarely they get named. I’ve been on few film sets and been shocked and disappointed at the attitude of some really big actors especially one particular actor who out and out bullied a young PR woman. What was great she stood up for herself but lots of people because of his fame wouldn’t have been able to do that.
@tomsmith2382

What Christian Bale did that was bullying. He only apologised because it was taped and a few actors stood up for him because they want work again as well. If you’ve ever listen to that is out and out bullying and he was determined to demean that DP , and like I said he apologised because he was caught out tells me everything I need to know about Christian Bale
The best advice I ever got was from a counsellor who said to me, when I asked why my family always treated me so poorly when all I did was try and please them, “they treat you badly because you let them!” 😮 🤯. Oh YEAH!

Love that she's hold a Gom Jabbar during the interview. So method!
Here's the comment with the additional details about fatshaming and lecturing: This video hit me hard! It brought back memories from high school where a classmate, also German, constantly put me down. He'd call me "too proud" of my mixed heritage (half German/half Iraqi), which felt especially hurtful coming from someone who supposedly shared my background. It wasn't just that - he'd also make comments about my weight and lecture me about my personality. Even my singing, a big part of my school life and something I was known for because of my German roots, annoyed him! He even tried to spread rumors about me because of my local fame. Thankfully, he eventually moved back to Germany, and I never had to deal with him again. But Rebecca's story is a powerful reminder that even when someone tries to bully you, like he did, you deserve to stand up for yourself.
she's a sweetheart
After Rebecca mentioned that weeks or months ago, I swear there were sudden days and nights when I just stop and think, “who was Rebecca Ferguson referring to, who’s the actor?” And up until now still trying to find out. 😅
Most have narrowed it down to Hugh Grant being the person. He's known by other actors to be a bit of prick. He is the type that would blurt out anything if he feels it and want his way.

Two realities in this world. Social Media Reality is based on feelings, platforms, opinions, agendas and a need to ‘sell’ your side. You can never have a discussion with a Social Reality person because they will yell at you, call you names, talk over you or walk away. Also, a Social Media Reality person feels they are ALWAYS right and they are the only ones that know the truth. Real Reality is based on history, science, facts and economics. You can always change a Real Reality persons opinion if new facts are realized. Simply look at the reaction of a person on any subject and you’ll know which reality they are in.

People complaining multiple times about one incident of such toxicity when you get yelled at. Oh boy. Guys, keep telling yourselves that's the worst thing that can happen to you. Stay sheltered. Because you wouldn't be able to handle what the majority of regular people do, and certainly the worst of actual evils in the world. There's that one thing... oh yeah "find a way to deal with it". Everything has to be complained about now, you have to be helpless to every problem, everything has to be out of your control. No. You are accountable for how you respond to your demons and those around you.
She's an intelligent person. So I don't buy that she didn't realize this would rile the gossipshere up intensely. And dismissing her OTHER co-stars' fears is kinda callous. I like her, but this was a bit juvenile of her to do.

@@jgp1294 An actor as intelligent as she could have worded it differently so no one would be speculating & harassing her past costars. Her language could have been more general & neutral. In the very 1st interview, she even says she knew this would happen. And here, she relates that those costars are telling her "look what you did." Um the opposite, and that’s why you don’t see many people like her, specially in Hollywood. She knows who she is and had a healthy and mature behavior to all of this.
Oh is this her metoo moment? Yes!!!! She should never have to endure a difficult coworker. I mean, who says that just because everyone else on the planet has to deal with that when the go to work, that she should too? Hollywood is supposed to be a special and magical place without any difficulties or challenges. I mean, how dare Johnson, a wrestler, (who usually gets to slam a difficult coworker into a hard object) who has worked alongside lots of actresses, find a particular frigid aryan one difficult to work with and how dare he show a human emotion of frustration in the process???? Yes!!!!! The entire world should just stop spinning because this delicate flower had a coworker be mean to her. Precisely how many mental boo-boo kisses will sufficient to make it better? I mean just because the rest of the world leaves a job due to difficult bosses and coworkers and still shows class and dignity on the way out with a letter saying "thank you for the opportunity" doesnt mean anyone in hollywood should have to follow that same trend of taking the high road. I mean, nevermind addressing the issue when it happens so it can be corrected on the spot. What you do is years later, in an interview, when you've forgotten whats its like to audition and be grateful, thats your punch back, because it helps no one and is just as classless as the original grievance you supposedly suffered. Now you're thinking with class and dignity!!!!!!

1) Intention. I dont give two bleeps what her intentions were. I live in a world where results matter, not intentions. 2. Oh the media blew it up???? Who fed it to the media then? So its not even the case of the media starting it, the media repeated it. So the media is just awhole's parrot here, which makes her the awhole. 3. So you'd rather focus on the target, (one YOU are not even sure of by your own admission) and not her behavior? Toolbag. (Like a burlap one, not even a good one.) 4. Whether I am angry or not has NOTHING to do with what I said. Anne Frank was obviously angry at the Nazis but that does not make anything she said about them false. Thats a weak attempt to distracrt because your argument tank was empty before you even started.
