Reaping the Rewards of Making a Garden
Our garden is just now beginning to come in. So exciting and tasty to eat from the bounty growing in our own backyard here in the mountains of Appalachia 😀

Thank you for watching, liking, subscribing and using our links! We appreciate everyone who stops by to help us Celebrate Appalachia!!
My first thought when Matt was joking around about Tipper giving him the boot before Christmas was, "careful there, Matt, you just might get your truck sold!'. I loved that story and I just love y'all!!!
Since Katie has lost weight, I can hardly tell them apart such a sweet family.
My mama made the best blueberry pie. In the summer she would make one almost every week...I loved to heat it up and then put a splash of half and half on it...I did it because I loved the color purple it would make in my bowl. DELISH!
Tipper and Matt, watching your videos makes my heart happy. Such love and respect between the two of you. I love when you two banter back and forth. God bless you both and the girls, too.
I hope no one minds how this sounds, but it is so NICE to have menfolk in the family that can keep the lawnmower (and other) running! What WOULD we do?!?!!! Thanks, Matt!
I can't believe how fast everything seems to have grown in the garden. Seems like yesterday you were planting. Now you are reaping all of your hard work.
Us viewers are fortunate to have the Presley family as part of ours. Truly a blessing. 😊
I really enjoyed this video, and I’ll tell you why. I know Matt loves you Tipper and this was the first time I seen Matt showing you little affectionate pats on the back and on the arm and leg. I almost started crying, we all need that. Tipper you do a lot for your family and I’m happy when they show you the affection. Anyway I just wanted to mention that. These little things make us feel like part of the family. I really love the show, it’s very relaxing! I don’t know about when the babies come? But it’s still relaxing right now. Thank you Matt and Tipper!!
It's the first time I see a blueberry bush that high, our blueberry bushes are much shorter yet we are renowned to have the best wild blueberries usually they thrive after wildfires so in the old days they used to clear out parts of the forest and burn clearings for the strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries to abound. It also helped to prevent forest fires. 🍁
Have you ever tried putting a plug of tobacco in a 5 gallon bucket of water.let it sit in the water for 3 days.then spray it all over your veggies.there want be no more bugs
You and Matt make me wish I still had my late hubby. I lost him when he was only42 years old (massive heart attack) and I will soon be 82. I love hearing you two joke about things. Keep up the good videos. 💕
Keep on sitting with us and sharing your stories, recipes. It’s like I’m sitting right there with you. Such good conversation. Thank you
“You’ve come unfed.” Oh, how I love you two! Thank you for another fabulous video! ❤

Hi there,
YES, you should receive an endorsement deal. Because of you describing the popsicles, I bought some. They were on sale for $3.99/12 count. Enjoy your channel!!
When you mentioned all of you going on a picnic and just frying the fish on the river it brought back such wonderful memories! We used to take our boys fishing in FL. We always took a cast iron frying pan, corn meal, onions, oil, potatoes, salt and pepper. Whatever we caught we would stop and cook when we got hungry.....nothing ever tasted so good!!! That has been almost 50 years ago!!!! My how time flies when you are having fun!
I really enjoy these videos. Reminds me of being with my family who have passed on. My dad grew up on a cotton farm in a small town in Arkansas and my mom was from New York. It made life growing up very interesting 😊. Hard work and family was always very much respected.
I bought your cookbook for my son, he also watches your channel. He's a homesteader and him and his wife are good cooks so I'm sure they will injoy the cookbook ❤
