Hey everyone, I appreciate you watching. I get so many questions sent to me from fellow artists that it can be tough to reply. I've created a Q&A page here if you didn't know - bit.ly/3aNx4nG I also get a lot of you artists asking for more educational and tutorial types of videos like I used to do. And although I hear you loud and clear, I'm also taking some time to focus on myself more and my personal development as an artist. It can be so draining and challenging for me to try to balance my energy and time to produce such content that it tends to take away from my artwork. So I'm paying close attention to that hence the less real time content lately. When I was first starting out and getting serious about painting, no one I reached out to would help me. I found zero answers, got few replies, and at the time there was no such thing as free content online. Being able to watch how another artist constructs their painting from start to finish would have been extremely helpful for me back then. So I'm going to continue to try and share as much as I can and I will be posting more how to content when possible. I have lots coming up soon including 5 more horse paintings so plenty of opportunities to continue to share !

Totally understandable. You definitely have to take care of yourself. However, if you ever offer a in person class to support yourself financially, I think you will have a lot of people wanting to sign up. That might be easier to schedule also. I would definitely pay for that. Doesn't hurt that Montana is beautiful.

Amazing work, Chuck! I really understand you saying you need more balanced time to develop as an artist. It's so important to stay true to yourself and the process. I have done horses all my life, from stick horses as a child to much better as I age. But in my life I have never come close to the kind of detail and realism that you achieve. Time for me to up my game. Thanks so much for all your work and sharing.

That’s amazing! I love the way you paint with such incredible detail and the colours you use! So great to see. I’m working on two paintings with a horse in them both close ups of the head in acrylic paint. I’m only learning and I don’t have anyone to teach me. I took up art after becoming seriously ill and disabled a few years ago and I’m finding great joy in art. I’m not a fan of modern abstract art but I prefer realistic art. It’s been a journey. Painting the horse’s eye has taken many attempts! To make it look real. You make it look so simple but you have had lots of experience and good teaching behind you.
