I really love this family, I always love seeing their updates. Aside from having a huge family, they seem like a normal family. Their kids aren’t expected to raise one another, no one is being shunned, the kids are able to express themselves - an obvious difference from America’s famous large family.

@@rodagrail3231 In a lot of these really big families in England, the US, Australia, etc. they have a lot of older daughters who are treated more like surrogate parents. Sometimes the kids even accidentally call them 'Mum' or 'Mom' because they do so much for them and spend so much time with them. It's of course very unfair to the girls who have very little time to themselves and very little time to be a kid or interact with people their own age.
I wish for everyone who is pregnant and or growing a family to have that joy that Noel and sue have. Every child is a blessing

If one can provide emotionally, physically and financially for each child, a big family is wonderful. It is when the parents can't provide all needs, or have the taxpayers support their children, when they are failing their duties as parents. That is worse when they choose to have more children when they can't provide for the ones they already have. This family is parenting each child, providing all their needs independently as a parent should.
What a beautiful family... They have been blessed!

Actually, they are all human in that family and we did see the mother very annoyed with the father, in Spain. There was also the moment when the father spoke sternly to the kids. They are an exceptional family and they are a family which means ups and downs like all families - all parents lose their composure occasionally, all kids moan and groan at times, all humans have moments of irritation and annoyance, and kids cry for a variety of reasons. In this family, their life is chaotic, but everyone in the family is used to it. It is part of their life and the fact that all the older kids don't move out as soon as they're old enough testifies to the fact that they are happy at home and will leave when they are good and ready. The main vibe from this family is togetherness in a very good way.

@@betha.6279 So, you are contradicting yourself since you say that you see only what the show wants you to see and then you go on to point out the real misery of the children. Make up your mind. What I saw was a very large, very chaotic family where children of different ages gave their take on their family. I didn't see any kids saying they were not happy at all. That is what you got from it because probably you would hate to have to live with so many people. Only child, perhaps? I grew up with one older brother and if I had been interviewed I would have said he and I fought constantly and that it drove our mother crazy. You might have read into that that my brother was violent (a boy, older than me) and that I was being beaten and that our parents couldn't handle us? He wasn't and I wasn't and they could.

Not all parents have the temperament to yell, but I've also found the more kids and experience a parent has, the less they yell at their kids. With experience you realize you set the temperament of the house, and yelling just exacerbates more loud and bad behavior, backfiring on you.

How can you not love this family? Of all the “Big” families, this one is by far the most bubbly, together and happy of them all. I’ve been watching this family since baby 15 and every time I see them they’re even more endearing ❤ Sue & Noel give this children an exceptional life. They have a cozy home full of laughter, tears, fights, memories, fun and a bright future. They all seem happy, well rounded, well behaved, caring, helpful , understanding and confident. They have done better with 21 than most families do with the average 2 kids. 😅 Not that I’m hoping they have another baby but I do hope they do at least one more update on this family just to see how they’re dealing with and how life has changed since they’ve stopped at 21. Good luck to this lovely family! They really are so sweet and down to earth. ❤

It is obvious that all of those children are just playing to the camera and the adults (including adult children) are all lying.... suuuuuuure! What a sad, sad world your mind lives in. Just imagine if you are actually wrong.... and that they are actually a happy family. Yikes, how would that make you feel? miserable because you were wrong? or happy because you were wrong? I'm guessing the first because you seem to prefer to look for the downside instead of simply accepting the goodside. They are a family and they likely have their share of difficult times, misbehaving children, arguments and disagreements, but it is obvious that on the whole (which is what matters) this is a happy family. As someone once said, "if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing" and the world will be a happier place for everyone.

It's not about the amount of one on one time but the quality of time spent together and the family's relationships as a whole. Plenty of single child families have a kid who clearly doesn't have a well fostered relationship with any parent/guardian. I think this family is overall healthy, especially when you compare it to the Duggars and such. With the Duggars everything was organized and the kids were tidy and obedient but there was often no joy on the kid's faces. The older girl in this family while stressed out over wrangling her siblings while mom was in hospital was clearly happy about the new baby and not all that resentful of her other siblings.

Its fine if you want to have a big family with dozens of children - just remember one thing - they're still your responsibilities until they die. Some children will become successful person, but some aren't not "lucky" as others. So yeah, many children means many responsibilities. Not only when they're born and finished their educations (that's only an easy part), but also until they could stand on their feet and become a successful individual.
