Kids deserve more than this. Some space to relax. This is just ridiculous. Demanding a bigger house when both of them don't work and look dreadfully unhealthy btw. Horrible.

Why do the children show worried, stressed and unsatisfied faces? I can’t imagine what each child is feeling deeply 😒 There needs to be more one on one with parents and security. I’m soooo sorry that I see the love, attention, food, drink, resources are spread way too thin for each child to feel loved, secure and thriving! This IS RIDICULOUS!!! It was hard enough for me with two toddlers at the same time, yet they turned out well adjusted, I still feel they deserved more and better! I can’t imagine how lonely each baby feels in a GARGANTUAN family where everyone is on their own agenda…where does that leave an innocent, helpless, confused and dependant child while everything around them is ME ME CENTRAL STATION? Do we have to fight to survive in our own home…when it’s bad enough in a cruel volatile world? Babies need a soft safe place to feel relaxed, at HOME and with people who will give them some real acknowledgment, not competition and rushing every moment out the door!! Too little, too late before you know it and all everyone is left with in the end is a few fragmented bonds and some sediments, be it good or bad memories or feelings! No wonder psychotherapists are getting rich on our stupidity!

Not to mention the horrible role models their parents are! All children know is what they see day in and day out, and unless there’s a dramatic change, these kids don’t stand a chance of breaking the welfare cycle!

The family that lives off the government is a total disgrace. It's one thing to fall on hard times but it's totally different to just live off assistance and not care. 👎

Fully agree with you. The one wife says they weren't happy with such a small home. Instead of her or her husband working, they went back to their government (not sure the correct term) and told them they needed a bigger home to be provided for them. Its probably the same in that country as it is in the U.S. Where money is taken out of people's pay checks that work to provide for her family. That burns my butt. In the U.S. us working folks pay taxes to help financially support parents that are capable of working but don't. Why should people sacrifice their hard working money for other families by having taxes taken out of their pay checks to support, what I feel, are lazy parents? I could have used every extra cent to put food on my own table. I completely understand if you fall on difficult times and need extra assistance for a short period of time. But for the one family in this video, they expect help and have no problem just living off of others. The programs put in place to help are being abused and were not intended as a long term permanent source of income. Families in the U.S. live off these programs for a generations. I'm always the first to help anyone. But it's not ok when my kindness and other's is mistaken for ignorance.

I was one of 8 children. The youngest 2 and the oldest one have passed away in the past 15 years. I knew I did NOT want that many. We agreed on 2. We had our son first, then 2 years later I suffered an ectopic pregnancy and also lost my tube. They then told me it was on half as likely I'd have another. 14 months later our daughter was born. I refused to go home until they cut, tied and burned the end of the remaining tube. Both of our children are now in their 40's and each have 2 boys.

So they won't stop having kids completely by choice and the council buy the neighbour's house and knock two into one for them, but wheelchair users are forced to stay in inaccessible homes, unable to use kitchen facilities, sleep in their own bedrooms, bathe themselves etc and instead have to pay for carers to do the most basic of things for them because what they need "just doesn't exist." But every year it's attack the disabled, cut funding for social care etc instead of forcing these animals to be sterilised. And then imagine being one of those disabled people living next door to one of these zoos. The noise is unbearable, and the unfairness and hopelessness is soul destroying.

I think it should be up to the couple how many kids they want to have. I was unable to have children so we adopted a baby boy. I wanted to stay home with him so we could really only afford one on a single salary. His friends were always at our house so he was not lonely. He said he had a good childhood, we went to Disneyland and he had a puppy. We tried our very best.

They get other benefits too. Clearly they were doing all right. I appreciate some large families that have worked hard and sorry for those that lose a loved one. I suspect the dad wasn’t actually not wanting more. Had a bunch of kids with one person, remarried another who must have been insanely young when they got together, and had a bunch with her despite supposed birth control? Something’s up there. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn he was sabotaging contraceptive methods.

how do they afford food? also why are the teenagers not getting part-time jobs after school and on the weekends? it would help the family so much.

But it shouldn't be their responsibility to help the family financially! They didn't choose to have all those children, the parents did, so it's their responsibility to support them

It's the welfare state entitlement mentality. The more children there are in the family, the more money they get from the government, so there's no incentive for the teens to work and contribute. I don't think it's as common for teenagers to get part-time jobs in the UK, as it is in North America. They're expected nowadays to stay in school until they're at least 18, then often go straight on to some kind of post-secondary education, all without having their own income. A couple of generations ago it was very different; most kids other than the university-bound were finished with formal schooling by age 14-16 and would immediately enter the workforce, and they'd be expected to start paying their parents part of their wages if they continued living at home.

Why must the children pay for their parents' selfish and irresponsible decisions? They are victims in these situations.

Smiley face and beans etc says the mum , and they don’t like veggies etc !!! You’re the MOTHER; it’s YOUR responsibility to bring them up on good wholesome and nutritious food, which includes fruits and vegetables !!! Stop making excuses for your OWN poor food choices. Junk food is only a sometimes food. Things such as pasta , rice and potatoes etc can be made in large quantities, and are very versatile ; rice and pasta goes a long way and can make extras and store in fridge and reheat. Frozen veggies are convenient, pieces of fruit should always be available , milk, cheese, yoghurts. Whole grain and whole meal breads and so forth.
