Everyone does what is right for them. For some people 13 kids would be too hard. The Health Visitor is viewing things from her own perspective and by her standards etc…. Being quite maternal I enjoyed having 5 children I think we all have our own personal maximum… Chaos and overwhelm isn’t for me Some people get pregnant really easily Personally I had sex very rarely I hope the Muslim family are OK and thrive If I was their Health Visitor I would arrange some sort of help in practical ways We All have love for all our children - love isn’t limited I do not want more….. 😂 Grandchildren are delightful though…..

I dont understand why the government don't have a cut off with the amount of kids they support. 4 should be the limit. After that you have to provide for your own. I really don't think that Muhammad has seven degrees because it doesn't add up with his employment status. I think that he thinks that lower wage jobs are not good enough for him. He uses his ethnicity as a reason why he doesn't have a job. He neglects his kids basic needs and whether people like it or not, neglect is a form of abuse. All his children are off school age so he should be spending that time looking for work, cleaning the house and other chores so that the children don't have to live in squalor. He doesn't listen to anyone that has a different opinion as himself and is very arrogant. He is forcing his wife to have more children than she wants and her concerns of her health are ignored. He is just another child to raise and I feel sorry that she was put into an arranged marriage at age 16 to a man twice her age by her family. My background is that of a school teacher and foster Mum and it's a family that I would alert social welfare about.

I think the mother and the health care worker should be able to decide together to put the mother on long term contraception without the father knowing. Lastly certain forms of contraceptives aren't allowed in Islam. I grew up in a large family and in a multigenerational household. I loved it. I think the only ones that didn’t were my two oldest brothers. Even now I’m nearly 40 and I can’t stand an empty house. The first time I lived alone I couldn’t stand it. Even as adults we’re always round each others houses but we do have cliques. I’m not really close with the ones younger than me by five years or the ones older than me by more than 7 years but the rest I am. The three oldest are close. The two youngest are closer but not as close as us middle four

The first time we spent the entire trip pointing out things the kids would love and talking about bringing them back to Skye with us which we now do every second year. The second time we lasted one night and came home the next day. People are just built differently. I don’t see a right or a wrong. I’ve never felt the pull of a career and will work any old job as long as it fits around my family but other folk do. There’s no definitive way

I have no words to describe how despicable that Rochelle man is!💩 I’d say he’s not dealing with a full deck.

If you can afford it, go for it. But if your relying on benefits etc...maybe limit yourself. Why put your wife through this, especially if she was high risk etc I don't think its always fair on the siblings eithe

We're all feeling for Noreen, how brow beaten she is from all the pregnancies and mothering so many children.. but a "man" in his 30s marrying a teenage girl is absolutely horrifying.. Religion, culture, tradition.. All offered as justification for what is truly abusive.. My kid is in his early 20s and is freaked out at the notion of someone his age dating anyone under 20. It's a TOTAL imbalance and so very wrong. Noreen looks like she's making the best of a very shitty situation, but I'd have that gobshite chucked out on his ear ASAP.

I'd freak if my walls looked like that. Some ppl totally don't look at life the way most of us do. Obviously 😂 these ppl in their own country probably live in dirt huts who knows what they were raised like. I can't imagine being pregnant that many times. I have 2 sons 12 yrs apart. The second baby was a breeze delivery but my oldest son has a huge head 😂 I thought he was never coming out lol. No meds the pain was extreme I almost passed out. They didn't give me a epidural until it was too late. The epidural kicked in after he was out then I couldn't walk 😅 I was so numb. 11 kids 13 kids omg at 43 wanting to be pregnant 😂freaking crazy!! I was 33 almost 34 when my surprise baby came . I wasn't happy to be pregnant I was scared to death. I can't imagine just having all these kids . They can't be picky or clean because the second they clean its dirty again. I'd go nuts I couldn't do it. Bless them for having such huge hearts for children.

Once, kneeling down to weigh a baby, I knelt straight onto a pile of dog💩 on the Lounge carpet 🤢. I needed to wipe my feet , on the way OUT of some of these houses !! I qualified, and worked in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. (No way could I stomach going into homes like this. No pay would ever be enough. ).....Respect to all the Community Health Care Teams, out there! 30+ years later, I'm still working on NICU's and loving caring for 'my' babies." "God" may have given me the body to bear children, but I also have a brain for making choices.

That house is disgusting, filthy overcrowded and so run down and just had their 11th child !! Maybe spend less time making babies you have no room for and concentrate on the children you have and clean your damn house! It's disgusting and so overcrowded and you want more! And she could say no to having more children it's her body,it's not just the husband's choice! 11 kids at 35 I mean come on! And she has the choice to say NO

Imagine somebody come home with a tummy bug! With an average 36 hours incubation, that's a lot of nights with no sleep, cleaning bedsheets and simultaneously running a ridiculously busy household. Poor kiddos miss out so much. 😢

For an update on the Salim family, search 16 Kids and Counting Episode 3 on KZread. They have not had more kids in the five years since this video, so still have 11 (not sure when the newest episode was filmed)

It's very clearly just attention seeking. The poor kids, born into this mess.

I think if you want to keep having kids, & your pregnancies are good & it's not killing you, & at least one of you work & you don't depend on others to pay your bills or buy your food, then that's great. But if you like Noreens husband who doesn't work, depends on other avenues to house & feed his family, & doesn't care if his wife is slowly killing herself, then shame on you.

Some women get a high being pregnant, the Scottish lady seems like she has an addiction to the hormones and chemicals released during and 1 year after the baby.

Poor Noreen. She was sold by her family into sexual slavery. The husband should be arrested. You know why his parents bought her because they knew he was a predator. He couldnt get a woman gis age. They are still together. I dont understand why they are still together.

Why can’t they just be happy with the BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN they had…the more you have the less you can give them & im NOT TALKING ABOUT LOVE there’s always enough love

The woman that just had her 12 she needs to figure out what she’s missing in her life that wants her to have a baby all the time. She’s filling some void with a baby she better get her life together. She’s got all them other older kids, raising her babies is crazy.

Noreen's kids are poorly behaved in public. They need to learn chores at home, they live is a disgusting house. The other couple's children are clean, quiet, and well behaved. Plus, their house is clean and tidy.

Being like Noreen and falling prenant whether you want to or not (hyper fertility) is completely different from going bonkers trying to get pregnant again and again. Noreen is normal with a whacky husband who isn't into contraception. The other women have a real psycholoical illness (sorry, don't recall the name of it but it is a real thing).

Babies are a huge blessing for me each child has brought so much joy to our lives and I would love to have baby after to baby to have the littles ones in my arms but in reality your body gets very tired. I have 6 and feel like I am so exhausted not only from raising ans caring for my kids but also all that comes with it, the cleaning the cooking, school work and teaching them what they need to know about life. Pregnancy really take a toll on me I feel like I am beat after each baby for a while, my last baby was a sweet surprise I had been preventing but it failed and I got pregnant from just the one time, she came only a year after my 5th, but I am trying my best to do it all I take pride in trying to keep a fairly clean home even with all my littles I don't want them to live in total chaos or mess because of my choices.

Those kids aren't getting any of their emotional needs met

I‘m an constantly overstimulated person, I would simply go nuts. I have respect for parents with many children, BUT some conditions of living is horrible to be honest.

Absolutely. My partner of 6 years and I have a beautiful house, a spare room, and he alone earns 100k€ plus. I'm a student in the healthcare industry so upon graduation we'll have plenty of money to give a child a blessed life. But unfortunately we've not been blessed. Here in Finland surrogacy is illegal and adoption basically isn't an option as adoptions mostly happen with the families. So, we have become cat parents instead. We have a house full of plants and we feed the birds and squirrels. I feel we have much to offer and so much love to give, but I don't seem blessed with fertility which sometimes makes me really sad.

Who pays for all these kids? I think it is irresponsible
