Ben is absolutely spot on its not always defence or goalie i saw so many times that united midfield was wasted in possession and gave the ball away The biggest culprit is bruno he always does Hollywood pass Hollywood touch Hollywood cross to the moon bruno is just not good enough

Honestly, EtH has handled the dressing room really well. No more frequent leaks, and they haven't thrown him under the bus even after he dealt mercilessly with some characters.

The fans shouldn’t decide who the next manager is, it should be the new football structure. That’s why they are being brought in. Fans who want ETH out are just calling for a change of manager.

It will be done and at best Utd won’t get much change from the figures being reported.

Ashworth won't start immediately . He will still serve gardening leave. Probably 8 month or so to cover the summer transfer window

@@Justlookin958 that’s why the amount is as high as it is. It will be nearly two years before they can get him in for free as his contract is until Jan 2026. The price is to get him immediately. No point in negotiating to reduce the leave period. If we can’t get him now then might as well look at other options.

Which players, if any has Dan Ashworth signed? Eddie Howe has the final say and we have chief scouts. Dan was apparently more involved with building up the youth academy. Eddie howe on friday even had a slight dig by saying we are yet to see the outcome of what dan did here.

I think Ronaldo's behaviour in his second season qualifies him as the "dickhead" status that Ben was talking about so I don't think Ronaldo would've been kept longer than the summer if he hadn't forced his way out early anyway.

Managers and players must be treated alike. ETH does not deserve a new contract, if he stays he should have to earn it . We shouldn’t just be handing out contracts “because there’s no one else” sounds glazer’ish

Dan Ashworth oversaw the signing of Sandro Tonali from Milan. I assume he forgot his due diligence responsibilities on that signing that Ben suggests is one of his strengths! I guess we are human so everyone is allowed a mistake but it’s possible he’s not as good as others are suggesting. I’m not saying it’s in the same league as Chelsea signing Caicedo or Mudryk for overpriced fees but the Toon getting £15m compensation for Ashworth is not bad business.

I think we should pull Ten Hag off the table for at least 3-4 years. He needs the pressure pulled off as United fix the squad, budget, and rebuild. Our biggest failure has been the patchwork squad from 5 managers since Sr. Alex.

Our midfield and defence are not compact enough, so many times one pass from the opposition CB goes to their striker between United's midfield and back four. Casemiro is too slow, Bruno is not defensive at all and Mainoo can't do it all. Younger players in midfield and better shape.
