Readylift is a little conservative with what they say. I put 295/70/18 on stock wheels and they fit. You couldn’t go much bigger, but they fit no issues. I wanted some poke, so I added bora 1.25” spacers. I didn’t get the 2” kit like you, I got the 1.75” level which got me 2” anyhow. Then I went with 1” lift shackles in the back.

Technically could change shocks, just need to be cognizant of the upper control arm angle.

Can easily fit a 285 tire on stock wheels and clear control arm. That's only 1 up from 275 stocks.

Hey, great video. Answered a few question/thoughts I had. I recently bought a Trail Boss and the ReadyLift SST 2.0. Would 305/60/R18 with -12mm offset fit? Will it hit the upper control arm? Will there be rubbing on the fenders/mud flaps?

That’s about a 32.5x12 wide tire. I’ve only ever run 20” wheels and currently run 35x12.50’s with no rubbing. I’m not sure about clearance on control arm with 18’s though.

Have you had any issues with 4w auto engagement? I read that you cannot engage 4w auto with that kit?

@@limitedslipautomotive 275/60r20 is a 33" tire and comes on stock sierra not even trail boss.

I have a single cap AT4 and just installed today 1.75 ready lift level with UCA and also they said on their site don’t use 4 auto - I can understand the effect on cv angles but not able to comprehend why I can use 4 low , the front diff will work either ways so why the concern is only 4 auto

My speculation is the varying load on the CV axle from the differential in 4Auto leads to increased binding. In 4Hi and 4Lo the load is constant and not “shocking” the axles.

Modifications on the newer truck's cause problems. I miss the old days.

My outer control arm just popped off. Dealer is saying its lift kit. They're saying the stock rods are Maxed out when aligned. WTF. I really don't believe that.

Stock tie rods most certainly are not maxed out with this kit…

Whats your overall height of the truck? Trying to see if i did this, will it fit in the garage.

Truck is only at 28,500 at this point. CV boots are perfect, no bad sounds. In my opinion if a CV goes out it’s not a hard part for me to change so i’m not worried.

@@limitedslipautomotive I just ordered it .. I may be just be over thinking the cv concern … also got the 5100 bilstiens for all four corners… will leave them a zero lift and allow readylift give me the lift so shocks can have full range ….
