Great vid. I have a 2013 Titan 4x2. I installed new OEM style struts on the front with the rough country 3 inch lift. I believe that makes the front spacers 1.8 inches thick. Also installed new RC Forged Aluminum control arms and sway bar links. No issues with the front. For the rear I installed RC 1.75 inch tapered blocks. My truck had driveline vibration around 1800 rpm in 1st gear. Truck sat for 2 weeks while I messed with it and did research. I ended up swapping those tapered blocks for supreme suspension 1.5 inch flat blocks and the problem is 100% solved. I told RC about my issues after I corrected it. They insisted that I needed a carrier bearing drop since my 4x2 has a 2 piece shaft but their instructions as well as their website say ZERO about a carrier bearing drop for a 1st Gen Titan. A little annoyed that they sell the exact same parts for 4x2 and 4x4 trucks as far as the 3 inch lift or am I just a 1 off case with the previous driveline vibration?

This is, hands down, the BEST OVERALL video I've watched on this topic! Great job! (Info/delivery/knowledge/honesty/candor) I bought the Rancho Quicklift Leveling Strut + RS9000XL Adjustable Shocks Set for my 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ (from another supplier) and it's been a total nightmare since. I'm finally going to move on and am looking at the Rough County 2" Leveling Kit or the newer adjustable set. How do you think they'd do for my on/off road application?

Best way to retain factory ride is body lift. CO not ready for that discussion yet though 😂. Got 4 inches of suspension on my '13 silverado and a 1.5 body lift from zone. I've run -28 and -41 offset wheels and 35s exclusively for years. Has a norcal and has the front bumper halved down the middle pre runner style. Did a one inch diff drop bracket to help cv angles out as well. Haven't had a rub or scrub in its entire tenure as my setup. Rides a little stiffer than factory but my 35s are on 17s and not silly 22x14s so that's helping a bunch 😂

Very educational. Thanks. A few questions I'm hoping you'll see and be able to answer after all this time. I'd want high end, top performance for my anticipated new F150, so based on what you've said here I'd go the top of the line $4,600 coil over level kit route, at whatever today's more recent price point is. But what I really want is either a 3" or 3 1/2" level, or maybe a 4" lift, to allow max room for a larger 35" tire and its added minimum road clearance. Here are my questions: First, are there issues going up to a 3" or 3 1/2" level that affect performance, ride quality/comfort, suspension range and such that make that height less than ideal? Second, would going up to a full on 4" lift kit with the added reconstruction underneath and that metal addition running across the front side to side, which looks like it would decrease minimum road clearance, would that resolve any such concerns found with the higher level kits, and would it increase or decrease performance, ride quality/comfort, suspension range and such? And would that full on lift kit then hang lower across the front thus actually decrease the minimum road clearance versus the 3" or 3 1/2" level? Other? Thanks. I live in mountainy ski country with deeper snow and often rougher roads, and what appears to be a lower hanging added bar structure going across the front with the full on lift kit, that drop down height concerns me. It's all a little confusing and I'm only just learning. Cost is secondary to me. I want to learn the pros and cons of a higher 3 - 3 1/2" level vs jumping up to a 4" lift. I can factor cost in later if needed.
