I recently read Normal People too and ahhhhhh!!! I’m going on my third year of University as well and I felt so seen in this book. I’m studying in a foreign country and meeting people and making friends has been quite the challenge. The loneliness can be rlly rough sometimes, especially during the pandemic, and idk Sally Rooney just nailed her portrayal of it. Thank you for giving your perspective on this as well. It’s oddly comforting to hear that I’m not the only one with those struggles. 😁

you should watch anne with an e on netflix! i’m not sure if it’s exactly likes the books but it has the same premise and it’s really good

I have days that I read 100-200 pages a day, and sometimes I skip, and other days I only read 30-70 pages... I don’t know what I need to be invested to read much in a day but oh well 🤣

This is the 3rd vlog today that talked about and loved Normal People so I'm going to be adding that to my tbr and Libby holds ASAP. Also your comment about always having a much smaller friend group in high school, not really having any in college other than your bf and online friends... I FELT THAT. Suddenly I'm about to be a junior in college and all my friends are online/long distance since I moved between multiple states during high school. Verona Comics really did that. Starting of as cute romance and then BAAAAMMM hit with the social anxiety and other issues going on. I think I'm going to reread it again because I'm in the process of being diagnosed with anxiety and irs been a wild few weeks.

So glad you picked up the Conqueror's Saga (I was the one who commented about it X)) ! The final book is my favorite.

Do you listen to music while you read or just silent? I can't sit in silence, idk why, so I usually put on a show or some music

I have a lot of books tbr on shelf 😂...I started reading night circus by Erin morgenstern TDY. But today I received books from Amazon Behind her eyes by Sarah pinborough and THE CRESCENT CITY by Sarah j mass and( it's a paperback tbh it's soooooooooo big to carry but still I can't wait to read 800 pages )💯✨

Hey peyton, just wanted to let you know that a cuban girl's guide to tea and tomorrow has some casual racism in regards to Africa. The author seemed like she didn't do a lot of research about Africa and was pretty ignorant and it bothered a lot of people including me. Just thought I'd let you know 😊
