For sure, and I saw for myself. I'm assuming you're referencing OldSkuleNerd's video (I've seen a few of his productions; great content creator). Quite a moving reaction, and the song absolutely warrants it.

Just to add to the awesomeness of Melissa and Fabienne performing together, Rusanda Panfili's violin is subtly in the background. Bravo!

That was so fantastic. Love hearing that.

Fabienne is from the German speaking part of Switzerland, whilst Melissa is from the French speaking part. Hence the dialect difference :) By the way, if you want to hear more of Fabienne, I suggest her side band "Illumishade", as she has more room to shine there oposite to her part in "Eluveitie".

Thanks for the additional info; totally makes sense given that why there is a unique contrast to the accents. Coupled together, they create such a unique sound. And Illumishade...I'll add it to the list. Perhaps someday soon, I'll get to them -- maybe around the same time I'll get to Eluveitie. I'll try and not wait too long. :-)

I'm busy listening to the album now, and it's amazing so far! Thanx for doing this one too. Fabi did a song with Feuerschwanz as well (Bastard of Asgard) and then she has 2 bands (Evulveitie and Illumishade), so if you want to hear more of her, there is a lot to explore :D

Totally agree in what I’ve heard so far. More to come (the remaining 5 songs)… And with Fabi…I’ll definitely look at both groups at some point (I’ll list them for now), and Bastard Von Asgard is coming for sure.

Hi Al ! Nice reaction as always ! Did you notice Rusanda playing violin in this song ? So here we are, Metamorphosis is out. Will you react to all the tracks as you did for Downfall ? There are more golden nuggets to discover. Have fun with these songs, anyway. I’ll see TDSOTM on stage tomorrow, opening for Feuerschwanz so looking forward to this ! (And btw the lights on the harp will be very useful on stage I guess….)🤘🏼🐨🤘🏼

I didn’t actually, but I’ve certainly caught it now. Good catch! And you read my mind. The last 5 left are coming. Filmed the first 2 so far (btw just curious - and don’t feel bad if you don’t know - do you know anywhere I can access the lyrics to First Light so I can include them in the vid correctly? Looked online to see if they were available anywhere, but no official postings. I bought the album off iTunes, so I did not get the booklet in print). And I hope you had fun at the show. Saw the pics off their Instagram; looked like everyone had a wonderful time.

Thank you so much. Just got the email. Still have to record the last 3 (I’ll do that tomorrow) and edit all 5…but you have just ensured I’ll get the remaining TDSOTM songs up a bit faster now. :-)

I find it odd when people I know, just dont gravitate to good or angelic female voices.... while I seek it out.
