When Pentatonix was formed, they realized they were all very different people with different interests. They agreed that PTX would do the parts where their interests overlapped and anything else would be a side project. Scott and Mitch did Superfruit. Kevin has his own series of videos. Kirstin was on Broadway for a bit. PTX is, for lack of a better word, wholesome. Superfruit, not so much. I’m so glad you thought this video was 10 outa 10, a lot of reactors just don’t get it, you saw it for the fun it was. This is my favorite Superfruit video! So funny and entertaining. All of the songs from their Future Friends project have an accompanying video and they are all stellar! Bad 4 Us was their first official release. I hope you eventually get around to seeing all of them. There's not a bad track in the lot. Love, love, love Superfruit! 🍓

Loved this reaction! Scott and MItch's Superfruit group is a while different animal than PTX, first of all it's not acapella and they have choreo and wild costumes and sets and stuff, and they write their own music almost exclusively. They have done a couple of covers but most of their stuff is their own passion project and their chance to just be as creative as they want. So Superfruit started out as a vlog channel where Scott and Mitch interacted with their fans and just built their brand. They played games and did challenges and all kinds of fun stuff, weekly for a couple of years. We were all pushing them to create their own music and it was so thrilling when they finally did, and the released their album Future Friends which is all their original music. I hope you can do more reactions to their other songs, they really are so incredibly talented!! Look for Future Friends, Bad 4 Us, Worth it (Perfect), Deny U, Sexy Ladies, Fantasy, Goodbye from Lonely.

Mary... Wow! You've explained sooo much! I'm a PTX fan and have watched Superfruit vlogs. I like them very much, but haven't "needed" to rewatch what little amt of their music I'd seen...until NOW! Thanks for your insights. Gotta watch the real video again here. I'm really impressed!

Total '80's throwback on this one. The old computer, the Weird Science nod with creating a guy and then the Thriller-esque dance moves. They really did pull this off quite nicely!

Yes this video is my favorite because it's so fun! As a note, you pointed out a dance move that was kind of Thriller- its actually from Frankenstein! I really love that the imagery and some of the dances and theming reflect Rocky Horror Picture Show (Dr Frankenfurter and Rocky).

This video came out 3 years ago and of course I'm late to the party and just finding it. Loving all the reactions, yours is great! I kept thinking Mitch reminded me of someone and I finally figured it out. I don't know how to show the picture here but look up Clyde Crashcup, a cartoon character from the 60s. Great reaction, but you missed the little gems they put in the video. When Mitch was hitting the buttons, to the right of that was a brain in a glass case. When you looked down from that latter you will see a women's arm and hand. There is also the radioactive symbol on the wall with a metal container under it right before the corner. After the corner is a flux capacitor with a Liongate figure on top of it. That is just the main ones.

Hahaha...I'm so glad you're getting to see their humour - Scott loves to dance...Mitch has never thought he was good at it...which no doubt was the whole theme of the cheesy moves in this one. (I actually never believed that anyone with the musicality that Mitch has could be a bad mover - so I figured during his shy period then maybe it was a self conscious thing for him) I love that they got to make this album, which is kind of a chronological representation of their friendship/relationship... and the music / vids are just awesome !
