Check out Banshee. He plays a very different type of character there (the protaganist), but does just as well of a job, if not even better. And the show overall is, in my opinion, even better writing than The Boys. It's a masterpiece of a story. It's either 4 or 5 seasons. You'll wish you had watched it sooner, trust me.

The crazy thing is, LONG before The Boys, his character in Banshee gave off the EXACT same impression (and he was the good guy in Banshee). I was a diehard fan of Banshee, and Antony's acting as Lucas Hood was a masterfull performance. Dude was a total badass, with a sheer will like John Wick's, and despite having no superpowers, inspired the same type of intimadation and respect from his presence. For him to achieve that as both good and evil characters, both super-powered and regular human, says a lot about him as an actor. If you haven't seen Banshee, I can't recomend it enough. No matter what genre you prefer, Banshee is just a really, really good story. A masterpiece of writing and character development.
