GG never disband, they just on their hiatus, focusing on their solo project, because 4 of them are actresses ( sooyoung,seohyun,yuri and yoona) - tiffany is a solo artist in america, taeyeon solo in korea , hyoyeon DJing and solo, sunny MC . Fun facts about Oh! and Run, Devil, Run! The Mini Album that “Oh” came on is the first to include Photocards! Which means we have Girls Generation to thank for the collection hell that is Kpop albums! Run Devil Run was originally written for American artist Ke$ha! She has actually recorded the full song so the demo is out there for people to listen to! Kesha decided she didn’t want the song and SM bought the song instead to give to GG!

Lil bit Correction: 1. Oh! Is their 2nd full album, not mini album 2. Yea Oh! is the first Korean album that include photocards ( because a BG, TVXQ I think did it first with ther Japan album) Also fyi : Oh! is the ONLY album by Girlgroup to ever win Golden Disk Award, Disk (physical album) Daesang in 2010 until this day..

they actually haven’t disbanded yet but holiday and all night are the title tracks for their 10th anniversary in 2017, after that all of them focused on their individual activities such as actings and solos and they do meet up every now then just haven’t been releasing any songs i hope that helps! and i really love your reactions!!

While that is true, a group that hasn't put out music in 3 years may as well be disbanded. Not every group can be the Brown Eyed Girls.

Shane Brannon i dont think that’s the case for SM? they’re not the type that disband a group no matter how long they haven’t released any music plus oh gg is still in sm so i dont really think they’re going to disband any soon or later

@@TalkingAboutYooh SM never really had a formal disbandment announcements for all their girl groups (SES, Girls' Generation, f(x)). They just said that the contracts of some/all members ended. It really leaves fans in mid-air as there is no disbandment nor announcements of possible comebacks/reunions in the future, although SES had a 20th year anniversary comeback under SM while Girls' Generation formed Oh!GG. f(x) doesn't have any intentions to reform again in the future.

@@TalkingAboutYooh except there's also Wonder Girls (Wonder Party, 2012-Reboot, 2015), Ladies Code (Stranger, 2016-Feedback, 2019), Teen Top, Brave Girls are having a comeback soon, after 3 years ... it's actually not that rare specially when all members have solo carrers, and are well stablished in the entertaiment industry. It's not like snsd is a group that'd be forgotten if they don't comeback regularly

@@TalkingAboutYooh the best example that you don't need to release music every year is bigbang. 2008 Remember - 2012 Alive - 2015/2016 Made (after that they started military service so right now we're at almost 4 years w no music). It happens, like someone else said, specially when most member have solo careers (in any field). They have stated lots of times they haven't disbanded nor the other members left the group, kinda like Taecyeon from 2PM left JYP but not the group.

"Run Devil Run" was SNSD's first "bad girl" concept Well, "Holiday" and "All Night" were SNSD's last full group comeback. While 3 of the 8 members at the time left SM, they're not considered to be "disbanded", and all 8 members recently met up for their 13th anniversary, actually

They didn't disband. They are just in hiatus and focusing in their solo career. SM really don't disband a group even the members left the company. 3 of the members left the company but still part of Girls Generation while the other 5 continue their contract in SM and continue with sub unit called Girls Generation - OH!GG.

TVXQ literally had 5 members and 3 of them left yet the group is still active😫🤚

They dont disband, it's just because they're on long hiatus since the three of them are in a different company (not in sm anymore) and every of them are having solo projects, some of them focus on solo song, some of them being actresses. But they are still in group even sm admit it they're still 8 members (which is rare of sm to include members who's not in sm anymore). That's how big snsd brand for sm.

All I know is about Taeng's number. She loves 9 since it's the date of her birthday and the number of SNSD. She still use it as her nickname "taengoo", goo means 9. There's a variety show called taeng9cam too About jessica's number, she chose 22 since it sounds cute "two-two" if I'm not mistaken.

In fact, I am more inclined to believe that SNSD have somehow secured their contracts in such a way that they might have cemented their legacy and legitimacy as a group for the considerable future even though some of them have signed up with other agencies. This is why I think that way:* - *1. Three of the members continue to publicly use their titles as SNSD members after they have completed their contracts with SM Entertainment. Without SM chasing and suing them for any infringement of copyrights at any point of time, this probably means that SNSD have secured some level of legal rights to their name and title.* - *2. In their latest 13th anniversary, all three of the non-SM members attended in person an SM Entertainment variety program called Yuri's Winning Recipe as members of SNSD. This means all members can still have some level of access to SM Entertainment programs somehow.* - *3. It is definitely a win-win situation for SM Entertainment even in 2020 and onwards to keep SNSD running. They are the ONLY group who is publicly-recognized, industrial-accredited, world-acclaimed as legends of kpop and even other fandoms and agencies are willing to acknowledge the incredible legacy and crave to see and learn more from SNSD themselves.* - *Therefore, I highly doubt SNSD will disband at all. Everyone wants them around as actively as possible and none of the members seem to be exhibiting any intention of leaving anytime soon either.*

Girls' Generation didn't disband at all. The group is on hiatus, but girls celebrated the group's 13th anniversary together at a party in Korea, just last week. One member Sooyoung even said few months ago that the girls are willing to make a comeback when the timing of all the members' individual schedules is right. There are some people who spread fake BS about disbanding, so be careful not to fall for those people's BS.

The numbers they wear for Oh! are each members favorite numbers or things like Taeyeon having 9 for the 9 members, Jessica having 22 because that was her age, things like that. Except for Tiffany, who was supposed to have 01 but there was a mistake and only 0 was printed, so she got teasingly called the hole of the team lol. You said they have legs for days and yes they were known for having long legs, but it's funny cause actually half of them are pretty short, but the way they film their mvs and place the members for choreography makes all of them seem tall. They haven't officially disbanded, but the release of Holiday was like 2 months before Tiffany, Seohyun and Sooyoung left SM. It was a whole mess because Holiday Night was their 10th celebratory anniversary album and the promotions were supposed to be pretty grand, but instead we got less than a week of promo, SNSD getting cut from tv performances they had already performed for and other messy stuff. Supposedly they were already negotiating contracts and it is speculated that that was SM's doing to try to make all 8 of them stay but there's no proof so the only thing I can say for sure is that they were done dirty. Despite that, both Holiday and All Night were amazing songs and I really liked the rest of the album as well, especially the physicall copy of the All Night version which includes a photobook full of photos from the 10 years of the group, a good portion of them unreleased. Looking forward to your reaction to the guide! While I do love their music, I truly believe a very significant part of why SNSD was/is as big as they were/are is because of each member indivudually, their talents, personalities and how they all play off each other, especially in variety programs and things like that. A guide is not perfect, it's impossible to show in such little time just how entertaining and talented SNSD is, but it's a good start!

I personally think that SM didn't do dirty. But yes, they are too stubborn that they don't give chances to the members to develop themselves. I think that's why Soo, Tiff, and Seo choose left the company because they want to pursue the dream which can't be achieved if they stay in SM. But SM know that SNSD is one of their most valuable diamond, and the members love SONE so much and don't want to dissapoint us, so that's why they promise that SNSD is still exist.

About the numbers, everyone chose their favorite number except Tiffany. She chose 01 but the printer made a mistake so it just had 0.

And Run Devil Run was always special in my heart because Run Devil Run was the first music video that I have watched, I was having flashbacks while watching the video on the small screen hahaha and Oh is special to me because this is the song that I have danced when I was asked to dance in my interview in our university. Holiday and All Night were released for their 10th anniversary. Both are actually the title tracks. Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung left SM right in the middle of promotions because their contracts ended. But they’re still in the group. They actually come together a couple of times a year to celebrate their anniversary and Tiffany’s birthday since they’re pretty close to one another.

The numbers each girl is wearing was chosen by them as their favorite at least for the most part. I believe one or two of them wasn't wearing their favorite. Sunny's favorite is 1 & 2 enhance 12 an Hyoyeon 23 but here it's backward as 32.

Although 1 member named Jessica left the group for an unknown reason and still is a mystery why up until now. 5 members stayed in their agency who formed the group which is SM ent. But 3 of them named Sooyoung, Tiffany and Seohyun did not renew their contracts in the agency but they are still part of Girls’ Generation, they still can do comebacks if they wanted to. People think they disband cuz they haven’t had any comebacks for years now but that is because they just want to do and explore new things as individuals. Taeyeon for example the leader and main vocal is the number 1 soloist in Korea and do a lot of tours and concerts. Sooyoung, Yuri, Seohyun and Yoona mainly is doing acting. Hyoyeon the main dancer is a DJ doing tours and comebacks, also she is in dancing shows like Good Girl where she showcases her hidden talent and potential in singing. I'll never get over these SNSD reactions! For Oh!, apparently they did choose their jersey numbers, but some are more significant than others (more in-depth info here in case anyone cares: www.fanpop.com/clubs/girls-generation-snsd/articles/46622/title/jersey-numbers). Although 3 members left SM Entertainment in October 2017 (Tiffany, Seohyun and Sooyoung), SNSD hasn't been officially disbanded yet. Some people have hope that someday they'll release something again as an 8-member group, and granted they do still hang out quite a bit, but I don't like getting my hopes up for things like this lol
