yes 100% they had some concepts in these MVs that is for sure!

Fun but also not so fun fact: During the editing process of the Mr. Mr. music video, they lost half of the video footage. It was already too late to reshoot it so they had to use photo shoot clips and had to keep repeating shots in order to make the mv. To this day, no one knows what the original mv was supposed to look like nor the full concept

Actually the concept itself was supposed to be like the little part where they're in a parking lot. Before Mr.Mr era they actually had a christmas fanmeeting and they teased it and it looked like that :)

I Got A Boy is sometimes referred to as the Bohemian Rhapsody of K-pop. 😂 😂

Girls Generation can pull off any concept perfectly. You have to check their live performances/ concert and the warning is on, they are good and the performances will gives you another experience, better than mv.

they really can just in 8 mvs I saw so much but felt like I only scratched the surface 🤣

Actually, each one of these 4 MVs had a colorful story: THE BOYS - When the MV teaser was released, a lot of groups (boys and girls) had to reschedule their comeback because during that time SNSD was so popular and successful. Some comments are even joking that their line "bring the boys out" are taunting boy groups to bring it on. I GOT A BOY - a.k.a. the Bohemian Rhapsody of Kpop. It also won the 1st KZread Music Award beating popular western artists to get the Video Of The Year. This happened mostly because of SNSD's fans and also due to Kpop fandoms uniting to watch, share and vote for it online. MR MR - SNSD's last mv as an OT9. Some footage was also lost and it was replaced with a parking dance footage. There's also a controversy of "nurse outfit." CATCH ME IF YOU CAN - SNSD's first official mv as an OT8, but there's a leakage OT9 Japanese ver. that was recorded before former member Jessica left/kick out.

Also the entire original Mr Mr video was destroyed. They had to delay the comeback a week or 2 trying to salvage all the footage. The only footage they could save was the garage scene that they ironically teased during their Girls and Peace tour

The thing with Girls' Generation is that they never had any official or any rappers when they debuted. Their main dancer, Hyoyeon, soon became the main rapper, but she also sings well with a nice tone. The other members became sort of rappers here and there, such as YoonA, Sooyoung, Yuri, Tiffany, and Sunny. However, they are mainly vocals, which is why I love them!

Well, yeah, the official rap line is the exact same as the dance line (With Hyoyeon as both Main Rapper & Main Dancer, with Yuri, Sooyoung & Yoona all listed as Lead Dancer & Lead Rapper, whilst Sunny & Tiffany are Sub-Rappers). However, Tiffany is often considered the secondary Main Rapper, due to her being especially good at rapping in English.

Mr Mr has one of my favorite stages in all of K-pop. Music Core from 2013. All the members are dressed in white suits. It was my first girl group in suits stage. It was not my last. It is still my favorite stage outfit for any group.

I think it was Sunny who said that "Catch Me If You Can" was by far their most difficult choreo. Sunny is the one with really short blonde hair in "I Got A Boy". She's also the niece of Lee Soo-Man, the founder of SM Entertainment.

I'd love a deep dive 😍 SNSD was the second kpop group I knew and I really fell in love with them, they are truly a nice experience and they are excellent humans, I just love them and their music so much 🥺✨ I remember when watching first I got a boy, i didn't processed what happened until later 🤣 I love all of their songs really, forever 1 that is their last song they have, is so meaningful 💕

3:23 that is yoona. Gonna casually add in fun facts along the way. At 9:56, yuri (the one wearing shades) had to wear shades cuz she had stye in her eye. IGAB era was crazy cuz there was 10 version of the album(one for each member plus the whole group) CMIFC is a song that the members dont want perform haha cuz of the dance intensity. I vaguely remember them saying that they taste blood after finishing this song😂 their bside is great and u wont regret adding them to your deep dive❤️

Honest truth I don't know what K-Pop would be like without girl's generation for the history of it what they started what they caused the butterfly effect I wonder what K-Pop would be like without them as legends of the industry it'd be a different scene we would know today❤ Welcome to girls generation they can pull off any concept perfectly or well executed depending on the year in the generation of kids that are around for it❤

U can only find ur bias once u deep dive into them & watching their variety shows will help ALOT! They are all still very much active doing their own stuff (acting/solo music/hosting/dj-ing etc) i’ll look forward to see who’s ur bias is in the future 🤭

Girls Generation themselves are the queens of quote "a culture reset" they were dubbed *koreas girl group, their song "the boys" was named KOREAS NATIONAL ANTHEM. 'Gee' by Girls Generation YESTERDAY got dubbed by 'The Rolling Stone' The BEST KPOP SONG IN EVER HISTORY. You can say all these groups have personality and awards, views and the best music but NOBODY will leave the IMPACT ON KOREAN POP LIKE GIRLS GENERATION. Like i'm an ITZY ULT but I humble myself on these GODDESSES, many of them are it girls, kdrama actors, multi-winning artists, and do sub units TO THIS DAY. They did indeed conquer the u.s with a Jimmy Kimmel Show Performance of 'The boys eng ver' they ARE THE BAR STANDARD POINT BLANK PERIOD NO TAMPON.

They are the blueprint for the blueprints in KPop.They walked the road so that future generations can run. It's always fun to see videos of other idols 2nd, 3rd and 4th gen just fan girl/boy out when Taeyeon or any of the members are in the same room as them

Girls Generation has become one of my two favorite groups. Their vocals and their harmonies are beautiful. 2NE1 is the other group but both are great each in their own way. Comparing them is like comparing apples and tomatoes. Both are fruits and both are delicious but they are not the same.

They performed the English language version of The Boys on Late Night with David Letterman and Live with Kelly. I Got a Boy won a Video of the Year KZread award (which Tiffany showed up to receive). Catch Me If You Can is the first post-Jessica title track (there is a Japanese version of the song with Jessica that is unofficially floating around YT). You should probably check out Girls Generation - TTS (Taeyeon-Tiffany-Seohyun) and Jessica's post-SNSD solo songs (Fly especially).

Thanks for reacting to SNSD. Impressive isn't it? Having multiple bias is a norm for this group cos all of them will eventually grow on you. Just so you know their B sides are as good as well so maybe you can opt to add them to the Deep Dive list 🤭 Btw SNSD have 2 sub units namely SNSD-TTS and Oh!GG plus almost all have solo albums too 👍🏻👍🏻

A Girls' Generation Deep Dive would be so good! You will definitely be in for a ride, back then we called it the "Soshi Express" their Korean discography is pure gold and don't even get me started on their Japanese doscography. They were one of the few groups who tore throught the difficult Japanese music industry and they also got in the top of Oricon charts. They're also one of the first girl groups to perform at the Tokyo Dome.

fun fact: one of these girls (yoona) is the FL of the drama King the Land which is #1 on Netflix non-english category. If you get into SNSD, you can't avoid them because they are everywhere. Sooyoung is the MC of R U Next, Taeyeon in Queendom Puzzle, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon was mentors in Girls Planet 999, My Teenage Girl (?) and Wild Idol respectively and many more

@@roguereacts Yeah, in Stamp On It, Taeyeon at one point in the video has like little fake nose piercings on either side of the bridge of her nose and short black hair, and Hyoyeon has the blonde hair and raps later in the song with Karina like on top of a car, lol. So if you watch the video you can pick them out by that. Looking forward to your solo list in a couple months, woot! Edit: Taeyeon opens Stamp On It with that purple and pink fuzzy jacket thing.

If any girl group is a template for every one after it, till today, it's GG. They were the first group to be known as "The Nations Girl Group", which the title has since been passed around, but many still consider this title to belong to them forever. When you get the chance, Taeyeon, one of the main vocalists (Jessica being the other one) did a hard rock almost metal intro to Run Devil Run, called Devil's Cry during one of their concert tours. A must watch, it's incredible, and shows just how versatile and incredible King Taeyeon, and of course GG is. IGAB is very famous in starting the SM "multi songs in one" trend, that continues to this day. It was very polarizing when it came out, but now it is an absolute classic, many people who hated the song at first, now love it. It's very entertaining to watch people react to this song for the first time. Dreamcatcher has definitely done a number of covers of SNSD, and Dami when asked who her favorite girl group was, when all the other DC members said "Dreamcatcher", she said without a moments hesitation "Girls Generation", which tells you how much she stans GG. You've started down the SNSD rabbit hole, and it goes DEEP, with just the music, with the group, subunits, and solos, nevermind all the variety shows. I look forward to your journey.

8:48 hahaha if you'll only watch their mvs and live concert, it's normal to have 1-3 SNSD bias... but if you'll include their variety show, tv & radio guesting, funny and chaotic moments then it is possible that you'll end with 4 or more biases. 🤣 Let me tell you, I got 9 biases in this group with 9 bias wreckers. I live for their fun chaos, unfiltered comedy, and different personalities. Yeah, I'm an OT9 stan despite being a slightly new fan. This observation here @8:53 is True, each member brings something to the success of SNSD/Girls' Generation. hehe😅

If you reacted to 'LION HEART' (puns for Lying Heart) it also not a 'first' original concept as we saw today. It was a 're-shoot' concept cuz the original mv was 'deleted' and they replaced it with the new we saw today...and when it first came out,the editting team mispelled GIRLS' GENERATION as GILRS' GENERATION and corrected short after... and on 2022,they comeback with 'FOREVER 1' which it made a huge constroversy with their 15th Anniversary logo (same design with 15th Anniversary of Disney theme park logo) then a few days later,the logo was replaced with a new design.
