Actually You Think is loved by International fans but ignored by Koreans. It's their worst selling single (only 115,000 sold compared to 850k for Party and over a million for Lionheart). Their two most sexiest songs and mvs, You Think and Catch Me caught Koreans off guard and they didn't seem to want to accept a very sexy SNSD.

The ones popping off in "You Think" were Seohyun and Tiffany. There is actually a sub-unit made of the 2 of them and Taeyeon - Girls Generation TTS (TaeTiSeo), which is one of the most well known and successful sub-units in kpop history. You can probably guess why by now. Their cover of Destiny's Child's "Cater 2 U" was the most viewed performance on Sketchbook when they've put together a top100 back in 2020. "Twinkle", "Holler" and "Dear Santa" (Eng or Kor version) are their MVs to check out if you ever decide to give them a go.

Tiffany and Seohyun do the "you're not" high notes in the choruses Ohwoowoo's SNSD guide is good for understanding the history of the group as a whole, but it's almost a movie 🤣 . Luxerit's guide is great for getting to know the members individually

I remember getting my friend into kpop with catch me if you can. No one can do it like girls generation

Also, they released Party, Lion Heart, and You Think in the same summer, and really close together. I think they wanted to show different sides of their more "mature" sound, so you got a happy pop party song with Party, a more retro sounding chill song with Lion Heart, and then a badass banger with You Think. The reason Catch Me If You Can had "Korean Version" on it is because (I think) it was a Japanese song first, that they recorded a video for when Jessica was still in the group. But when Jessica left they had to "remake" the Korean version with only 8 members. I think you can find the 9 member japanese version on KZread if you look in the right nooks and crannnies. :)

Unfortunately I think You Think got lost in 2015. It's the worst selling single up to that point. Even with Catch Me If You Can, it was by far their most mature, sexiest concept and I don't think the Korean market were ready to accept SNSD this way. As a result international fans love the song and mv more than the Korean Sones. Even Catch Me did not sell well, but I think that's as much from SM rushing the song before they were ready since this was the first comeback without Jessica.

Ohwoowoo’s guide, it’s long but it’s the most up to date!

1. Sooyoung - the girl you find pretty in "catch me if you can" she is the tallest member of them all - she was the short black hair you find pretty too, in the middle, with sunny in the 2nd verse of "you think" 2. Yuri - brown long hair you find pretty too in "catch me if you can" -she is the sexiest - lots of her fans like to record and focus their cameras on her whenever they perform, so that's basically how the "fan cam" was become a thing in South Korea, it was because of her. 3. Hyoyeon - i know you already got it, the short blonde hair in "you think" 4. Tiffany - she can easily distinguish because she has also a unique voice she can go deep and go high at the same time, mostly her lines has english words and she's popular for having a smiley eyes all the time - she's Taeyeon's bff - she and Seohyun (the one in "you think" who has split and crawl choreo) were the one doing the background high notes in "you think" Another fact: Taeyeon, Tiffany and Seohyun have their own sub-unit called TTS

It's really hard to find a group that has done so much, so many concepts, have so many iconic GREAT records, all members are beautiful, all can hold their own, all talented, all respected and admired. That's SNSD, that's the Nation's group. K-pop royalty. BoA's little sisters.

Fun fact: The reason you see the apple references in SNSD's/Girls' Generation's "You Think" MV is because in Korean the word for apple and the word for apology are spelled the same, so it's a common joke that when you want to apologize to someone you give them an apple. How I interpret the apple references in this MV is that the apple with the nails in it is supposed to be a metaphor for how the girls are telling the guy " ... you think you're real cool ... coming to me begging for me to forgive you, but I am not accepting your apology." And the silver apple you see, I interpret as being like a lead apple, which might mean that "your apology may look and sound pretty, but it hits like a piece of lead, with no substance and it sounds hollow ... it doesn't sound like you truly are sorry," etc.

Sooyoung is the one you’re commenting on a lot! She also happens to be my bias ;P she knows how to work a camera and is kind of the hair flip queen of K-pop- she’s known for how many she does, especially later in her career. She’s also the lead dancer and the tallest member!

Seohyun did the high notes in You Think! The orange haired one tgat did the split 😌 she’s the youngest btw born 1991

After the guide, you need to react to funny videos of them. Girls' Generation was known not only for being able to pull off any concept, but also for being variety queens. Their personalities are something else.

You have to watch SNSD's live performances, any concert or promotions, in your own time, you have to watch how they sing wonderful "You think" with all their high notes while dancing, not like most of the groups that debut lately

Random Facts: (1)During the promotion period of Run Devil Run, Tayeon was almost kidnapped off the stage during the live performance. (2) The numbers in 'Oh!' are/were picked by the girls and are still used in concert. I would like to suggest 'a girls' generation guide' by the channel ohwoowoo, the guide is an hour long but it's most likely going to be your best bet for an up-to-date guide.

These reacts are giving me life force truly- I’m so excited as a GG fan that people are still reacting to and seeing their content for the first time in 2023, and they were one of the very first groups I ever got into. Girls Generation are literally one of the most iconic kpop groups ever. They invented so many things that are now staple of kpop and they broke so many records that are so crazy to me because even though the Internet was already a thing, mass buying, streaming, etc were not really things that 2nd generation stans used to do like nowadays so their achievements are 100% ORGANIC!

Was listening to Run Devil Run while doing house chores. I danced more than I did anything else but that is fine. Also, we do have a continuation for this song in their last album. You better Run is basically a lyrical reply, where the girls are older and better and ready to make all the things they promised in Run Devil Run.

Sooyoung - short, black hair, on Nike top, you also pointed her out in the "Catch me if you can" MV Seohyun - did the split moves, sang mostly the "you're not" part of the chorus, she's the maknae Hyoyeon- short, blonde hair Yuri- long brown hair, wearing fishnet stocking. Tiffanny- long black hair, sings most of the highnotes along with Taeyeon and Seohyun.

You Think came out right after PARTY 😂 Seohyun did the high note “You’re NOTTTTT” . The first rap came from Sooyoung, yeah the second rap line from Hyoyeon. The Lady with black apple is Tiffany.

SNSD can pull off any concept! Legends! Yuri: She's the first kpop idol who who have fancam snsd pioneered the fan cam era. Yoona: Visual and center position is not a thing in kpop before everyone see how succesful Yoona represents the position. A lot of things in kpop was pioneered by SNSD including photo cards etc. ❤️

For a guide reaction I recommend the one made by owoowoo, it's very detailed and shows everyone's charms really well imo! It's quite long though so you might want to split it up into 2 or 3 parts

I don't have any guide recs but SNSD also comes from an era of KPOP where the artists were a lot more dynamic in variety shows so I would definitely recommend checking out unhelpful guides/funny or savage moments as well since I think their personalities are going to help with identifying the members more so than official details (at least it did for me) Also know that you're busy but from hearing the songs you're enjoying I would also recommend Sistar as another group to potentially add to your waitlist :) Thanks for all your reactions

Catch Me If You Can was their first MV without Jessica, the OT9 version was actually leaked. Your smile whenever Sunny shows up warms my heart, even if she's not your bias she just has that effect

catch me if you can is also my all time fav SNSD song... I can't get enough of it and still listen to it a lot even now in 2023... the song was made during SNSD comeback in Japan hence it has a Korean version and Japanese version

my reccommendation is Day By Day of TARA. TARA is one of the legend girl group during the time of SNSD. Day By Day is one of their song telling a short story through the MV, it includes 2 parts. You should definitely check it out

It's Sooyoung that you are noticing here. Jessica was my bias and Sooyoung has always been my bias wrecker. They had to reshoot this video without Jessica as this was the time she got kicked out of the group. Sooyouung has been my bias since and she has only grown more beautiful over the years.

A video guide is cool to get to know them, but actually you should watch one of their variety shows to truuuuly get to know them. They’re hilarious and all have very distinct personalities !

RDR is fire but CMIYC is the bitch, I remember Sones going crazy when these two were dropped, also i think the choreographer was Lady Gaga's so the dance moves have the same vibe. I’ve commented you on previous Snsd reaction that you’ll love Catch me if you can and You think. CMIUC was dance and u think was vocal declarations of SNSD. I still think they’re the top songs of them followed by I got a boy. In Snsd Taeyeon Tiffany Seohyun and Sunny are really vocally strong. But I don’t know why, Sunny is very underrated. First three does most adlibs. U found Hyoyeon well and the other one that kept taking your attention is Sooyoung. For me she is the top visual of GG. Next you should react to Oh!GG Lil Touch. You’ll re-order your faves again

I feel SNSD does "Sexy" better than most, because they remain classy and confident. The opposite is cheap with low self-esteem, which defines some of my college "girl friends". But, that's another story. SNSD has always been a class act. And, the order you are doing these reactions shows their evolution from sweet innocent girls to becoming pretty amazing young ladies!!! OH! was the most cutest thing ive ever seen in KPOP Music Videos..and also the song is really funny and good Catch me if you can is a dancing song, it's to show their dance ability, I remember that taeyeon even said the choreography for that song is really difficult & tiring that they feel like they can taste blood in their mouth when the stage was over😆
