I love All night mv so much. It's so aesthetic and pleasing to look at. And it has It's own atmosphere. And all outfits are also simple still so pretty. And the song is really good. So fun. Never get bored of it. So I'm really happy that you liked it too♡

someone cmiiw but im pretty sure the lion in lion heart was their manager at the time, you can actually see Yuri cracking up as she smacks him in the end lol.. and i believe that while he is not with SM anymore, he is still tiffanys manager in korea (since shes under an american company, shes the one who hires and pays her own korean staff)

im a sone through and through, but lets not act like t-ara and wonder girls werent literally known for retro lol its ok snsd started many trends in kpop, retro has always kinda been a thing, but they definetly own their retro concepts! like Hoot and All Night are both bangers and pretty unique when it comes to retro sounds :)

@@rubberduckie7100 i think the original comment just meant that all night started the more recent trend of retro stuff thats been happening over the past 2 years or so. Not like theyre the first to ever make it trendy at one time or another. Just the recent trend. If that makes sense :)

Lion Heart is....weird. But I find it wonderful. I'm not super familiar with 3rd/4th Generation GGs but I can't imgaine any other group doing something like it and having it be successful. I'm guessing it's because SNSD aren't 'just' singers/dancers, but...umm..complete 'performers', meaning they embrace whatever role the composition suggests, and have the honed skills and personal talents and sensibilities to fit whatever concept they're given.

I'm going to cry, I'm SOOOO happy that you loved All Night!! It was my favourite of their double titles for their last comeback, but it didn't get as great a reception in Korea which annoyed me. I was so afraid that you'd hate it because I know you're so sick of retro sounds in Kpop atm. I never even noticed the switch to deep house until you pointed it out! My favourite part of the chorus is actually that it's different each time. Chorus 1 is solo lines from Seohyun, Hyoyeon, Sunny, and Taeyeon, and first half is also kind of delayed (?) in the development of its drop. Chorus 2 is duets (Sooyoung+Yuri, Seohyun+Hyoyeon, Sunny+Taeyeon, Tiffany+Yoona) and the first half adds like an extra clap percussion I think which gives it some extra energy. Chorus 2 also has a call-and-response in the second half. Then chorus 3 is the whole group together and the beat has the most instruments in the whole song + adlibs + call and response throughout. I think it's so incredible. I personally love when choruses are different each time. Each time the chorus comes on it feels like a different party and I find the song so addicting because of it. The fact that you LOVED Party made me soooooo glad!!!! Another song that when it came out people weren't impressed!!!

Actually PARTY is my happy song going to work. I have knowm snsd since 2009 and now I'm an dngineer, I still listen to their songs as source of happiness

For me Catch Me If You Can will always be that girl, LOL. Always first or last on my cardio playlist (well a version of it, the Korean version of the song with Jessica’s English bits from the leaked OT9 Japanese version). I’ve always had a soft spot for Lion Heart, and it took a minute but All Night truly clicked for me and is now amongst the many many favorite SNSD songs I have.
