Very intense to watch. I have seen this over and over and I still cry. If you ever get to attend a Dimash concert you are going to witness something remarkable. You will see people from every corner of the earth and everyone just happy. It is not unusual for people from over 60 different countries to fly to where he is. I think when I saw him in New York in 2019 it was something like 54 plus different countries. Different fan clubs pass out different things. Someone in line with us waiting to get in made hundreds of red hearts to pass out that fans hold in front of their phones for Dimash etc.

Well, some considerations: (1) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). More movie details: (1) The three (children) and the two boys disputed the girl's attention; (2) The character (which Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend; (3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy; (4) The older boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general; (5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family; (6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend; (7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life; (8) Dimash's wife is welcomed by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special; (9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place, of tolerance, respect and acceptance.

I have watched this dozens of times and every other time i watch it, it makes me teary eyed. So don't mind the tears, it means you have empathy and sympathy towards others. Dimash is most definitely a promoter of peace and cultural tolerance. He has traveled the world and loves all of us. If you think the MV was emotional you should check out a live version. There's no official version on his channel, but plenty of fancams of it. Or if you watch part 3 of his Stranger concert, it's in the first 45 minutes? Im not 100% sure without looking at the video again.

This masterpiece is chock full of symbolism, allusions, and direct statements. When alluding to John Lennon’s Imagine, he tells us that the time for “Imagine” is past, it’s time for action. Let’s do something about this. Just dreaming about a perfect world is not enough.

Thank you for your great and empathetic reaction. In The Story Of One Sky he sings the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife was also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. But it‘s funny how very few reactors realize that the soldiers shot in the arm at the beginning of the war scenes was Dimash. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. 👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace). One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work. The second transfers his problems, his unheard claims of ownership from childhood into the adult world and mercilessly follows his twisted ideology. By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. I too get teared up each time i watch this. His reference to “Imagine” is a reference to John Lennon’s song and lyrics i believe. There is also significance to the scene where he is standing in front of (his?) home and the burning sign (Waldenberg) which i believe is a reference to Rabi EliezerYehuda Waldenberg (1915-2006). Not sure about the details other than he was a Jewish scholar who wrote about the justification for war. Im sure one of your viewers will have more accurate info to share. He spent three years and at least $3M of his own money to produce this epic video. It is truly a masterpiece. The more you watch it the more understand Dimash as a humanitarian.

Главное - это мощнейший посыл к прекращению войн ! Одного не учёл ДИМАШ : в нынешней ситуации речи диктатора хотелось бы услышать на русском языке для полноты эффекта данного мини-фильма. Один сумасшедший роzzийский лидер, так же как в этом фильме воинствующий диктатор, - путин развязал чудовищную войну против соседнего суверенного государства Украины под надуманным предлогом защиты своей страны от мифического врага. ДИМАШ как будто побывал на войне в Украине ! This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb) So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer. Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷

Yes I decided to watch the video first since I tallied the number of recommendations for the performance versus the music video first. More people seemed to want me to watch the music video, so that vote won. Next time, I will do a poll to show the results to everyone. I did understand the storyline, it is rather apparent since he provides great detail and symbolism. In fact, I find myself still thinking about this video many days later after watching and rediscovering additional details and relating to certain plot points. It was nice to convey my initial, more emotional response. Then think on this in more detail on my own time. It has become a rather personal experience for me as I am most affected by the plight of war-torn countries and have realized the historical contexts. It is a more political conversation that I would rather have with others in a less public forum. 😊💖

The fact, that Dimash killed his chilhood friend, who saved him from drowning. The war killed them all three, including Dimash's daughter 🥺
