He performed this song by Vitas in the Chinese contest "I am a singer" in 2017. It was a real success!! I read that Vitas would have forbidden her to continue singing it because Dimash would have improved it!!

Dimash can make you very happy or totally sooth your nerves. I will play him when I clean, cook, drive. It is a Dear joke not to watch Dimash while we cook because a lot of food gets burned. It is impossible to not watch him if there is a video going. You also need to discover Hua Chenyu out of China. He is incredible. Try Hua Chenyu Nun Chucks. He is like Dimash in that you are not sure what he is going to do but it will be incredible. You many also see different genres all in one song and he can put so much emotion into a song you will cry. Nunchucks is just a fun song.

There is no wrong version of this song. He's rarely performed this song, and after this version, you'll never see him perform it again as he was requested not to perform it by the original singer. If you wanted the subtitles, then maybe a different video. Also, what's not shown in this version is that his dad was in the audience. They did show him on screen a few times during the performance, but he was there to surprise him. This show, I am a Singer, takes place in China and dad came from Kazakhstan to support him. Dimash was only 22 at the time and probably the first time he'd been away for so long, i think with this performance it was 2-3 weeks.

I love this performance. This is Dimash performing for the first time as a new Mega-Star. 🤣😂 The cockiness is so darn cute. Thank goodness that he had no idea his dad was in the audience or that would have ruined all the fun. The original belongs to Vitas and he also sings qite well. The biggest different to me is the richness and warmth in both the song and personality. Love your choker. I am a big choker gal too but at my age, they must be much wider,😅 to cover up the wrinkles.🙄😂 I always smile all the way through this performance too. If you want to continue the smile and sore cheeks, I recomend the "Be with Me" music video.👍🤩 🥰🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🌹🦭🇨🇦

Great reaction. There is a great interview with Dimash where he states that his attention is not so much the songs he sings or how he sings them, but he feels that the emotion behind the song is the best way he can show his Dears that he cares for them and wants to give his all to say thank you to the millions who follow him. Just about any singer can do his songs the difference for me is when I hear someone else do his song, I walk away feeling a little empty emotionally but as you know with Dimash you walk away felling full .and at times you experience emotions you didn't realize you had or emotions you may not want to admit you have. Again, thank you.

Hello Heather, thank you for this,. "I love it." This performance was my introduction to Dimash in the past. I really enjoyed watching your reaction today. I see others have commented about this being performed originally by the Russian, Vitas. While that is certainly true, many don't know that Vitas, upon learning of the immediate fame and recognition Dimash received after the "Singer Contest" in China, filed charges that have prevented Dimash from ever performing "Opera 2" again. Please don't allow yourself to be concerned if some have complained, regarding timely reactions to their requests or suggestions. I can assure you that those of us that are your true fans are perfectly happy with your actions. Best wishes from Japan...!

Opera2 was the second performance of The Singer competition in 2017 in China. The song is in Russian. A language he also speaks fluently. The original was from the famous Russian singer named Vitas. The song is very famous and popular in China. The audience already knew what to expect, but were very surprised when Dimash raised the pitch three times. Vitas but only once. The man who raises his fist in the air at the end is Dimash’s father. He came from Kazakhstan to support his son. However, Dimash knew nothing about it when he performed. I think it was very difficult for him at the beginning. You have to imagine, until this competition in China in 2017 he never was alone. Dimash, like many other Kazakhs, has the tradition of living under one roof with the whole family all together. He lives with his grandparents, parents, a sister, a brother an other relatives in the same house. And now he had to go to China alone, didn‘t know the country, didn‘t know the language, didn‘t know the traditions or livestyle in this country and up to that point he spoke (almost) no English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. Only one interpreter came along and that at the age of 22. He was almost a kid to me then (my son is 20 so I can imagine…). And after that performance he saw his dad. So beautiful and emotional. BTW the audience is also the jury. During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰. I love this video because he still seemed so innocent. Just a boy and he didn't seem as serious as he sometimes is these days. He still looked carefree. In some it is important to understand what the song is about. There are a lot of beautiful, sad and awesome songs to discover. I can also highly recommend the videos from the Gloria Wu channel because they show a little more of the scenes behind the scenes and there are also subtitles from the competitors, some of which are really funny. Another awesome, but very sad song is called Daybreak. I highly recommend you to watch the version with the story behind on the Gloria Wu channel first and then the one from his Bastau concert. It was the 8th performance of this competition. I don’t think there are copyright issues, because the videos on this channel are already edited and there are English subtitles. This song tells a very sad but true story. You really have to watch this with subtitles. It’s really important to know what the song is about. So please react to The Singer version first🙏🙏🙏. In the Singer version he was so sick and had a severe sore throat and fever. He lost his voice the night before his performance of Daybreak. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song, that his throat feels like shredded glass but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. And the doctor told him not to sing high notes. You can see how concerned the other competitors were and they suffered with him. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. After the performance he lost his voice again. It’s unbelievable how he always manages to convey emotions to such a degree. Though I think in this one particular version the emotions he shows are mostly concern about his voice keeping up with the song and the pain he must have been in doing it. The Bastau version (no sore throat) of Daybreak is phenomenal and mind-blowing. So emotional and heartbreaking. Maybe you can do both together. Many reactors do and so you can see the difference between this two performances. In both versions I always cry my eyes out. I don’t know why I have to cry more. Because of the story or the fact, that he was in such pain and performed anyway because he didn’t want to disappoint the audience. Both version were in the same year 2017. 0:30 the correct video is always from his original channel or from IGOR KRUTOY channel. many people are using DIMASH to earn money they dont deserve by reuploading his music to their channel and then spamming reactors to use that link. but songs from SINGER are hard to find
