Dave, it's unbelievable, I know! I don't have to convince you about anything. I know you're all in. To think she is responsible for arrangements for most of her covers (or, all of them?) is incredible. Especially since she was 9 years old! It's impossible to comprehend all of this. Dave, if you're starting to get the feeling that something else is going on here with Angelina and if you want to keep it private, that's cool. But lots of us are thinking there's too much going on to believe this is just a "nice story". I'll leave it at that but I think you know where I was going with this. Dave, she donated her winnings at Norway's Got Talent to children's charities. And, if you haven't already you can find out or even listen to her explain what her goals are. Dave, the confidence she exhibits when she's singing live with no signs of stress is a clue to what she's all about. Although she sings almost flawlessly her main purpose when she is singing is to reach out to people so they can feel the love she has for them through her voice. She's remarkable. Not sure if anyone has commented on how she has the nic name" the boss '. There is video of her in rehearsal of her & this band & she is the one who had 2 CORRECT the band as far as the tempo & timing & if an instruments or an instrument was off key!! She is ALWAYS very polite when she has 2 correct the bands. Never arrogant. She has a very good reputation with all the band's she has worked with because of her humility & humbleness on how she corrects these bands. I think she is humble to them because she is respectful to the fact that these band members have been playing much LONGER than she has been alive & she WANTS 2 not step on any toes!!

Not that I've heard a lot of child singers, but I can't imagine anyone of them coming close to Angelina's brilliant performances in her preteen years. And she has continued that brilliance to this day. I am so happy to have come across her almost three years ago. So glad you appreciate Angelina as much as I do (the reason I subscribed). Take care.

I was going to explain to you why this is so good, but I think you got it, Dave. I realized a while ago that it was right around when Angelina got to ten years old that she was no longer an amazing child singer, but one of the best singers I ever heard, regardless of age. You definitely need to watch her sing this about a year or two earlier in front of thousand of fan outdoors. It will blow you away again. Just a warning: don’t start saying: “this is my favorite Angelina song”. You know why. One of my favorites is her cover of Dinah Washington’s “What a Difference a Day Makes”. I think she was eight years old. Listen to her timing and the way she chooses a voice that instantly takes you back about 60 years. Again, an eight year old in front of thousands of fans, in her own world, singing that song as good as you’ve ever heard it by anyone, anytime.

This is my favorite performance of Feeling Good from Angelina. The band here is a great backing for her. As you will see later, Angelina did lots of work with some of this band (the guys on horns) in her 2017 tour. She did some of her best stuff during that tour... "cry me a river", and "diamonds are forever" are a couple of my top favorites. It's hard to believe you are now 10 songs into Angelina's library, and you still are just at the beginning of the journey. When we said this girl has done a lot of incredible work, we were not exaggerating :)

Do you think Angelina will perform a cover like this again? There's something about the soul she put into songs between like 7 and 11 years old that I haven't heard from her lately. All I Ask was so powerful, and blew away the original IMO, but it lacked something that Feeling Good had. I guess I just want to make sure she 'still has it.' I say cover because I don't think she's ready to write something like this yet. Seventh Heaven proves she's moved past the juvenile (but great) themes of Shield and What is Live, and the sometimes amateur lyrics of Million Miles(or maybe its just the language gap, but there are moments in that song where metaphor falls flat). Obviously everything she does is great. But there are so many people who can cover Adelle or write something like Million Miles. It might not be quite as good, but it will appease the masses. Nobody else I know of can improve on the work of Jazz and Soul legends like Angelina can.

@@michaelpalmer2143 Oh Angie still has "it". I think during those years she was surrounded by a different crowd of people. You had that "big band" sound and feel that just brings the soul out of everyone who hears it. She has gotten away from that pretty much and trying to do her own thing. Building a big band with great musicians of Angelina's caliber is very expensive and you have to keep them busy or they will move on. Once Angie has settled in and is doing this full time, I can see her bring back that big band.

I loved watching your joy as you watched this. I have watched Angelina videos multiple times every day since I first heard her on AGT-C. I honestly believed she helped me maintain my sanity through the various shelter at home policies. The reactors on KZread have become my extended family that I can share my feelings with. It took you a while to find Angelina, but since you have you’ve been happier than I’ve ever seen you. This too is my favorite, and there is a live outdoor concert of this that is almost equal to this and some say better. This is my favorite even over some her superlative recent performances.

As all Angelina fans have come to know, when she flicks her hair off of her ear, fasten your seatbelts.

That sweet smile and curtsy at the end is always the icing on the cake for me because it is such a transition.

I understand what you mean about not wanting to start the song, but remember, you can start it over and over again. Wait until you have heard most of her performances 10 or more times each. A soon as the first couple of words leave her mouth, I am filled with the memories of the previous times I heard the song. She just flips a switch in my heart.

I really enjoy your reactions. You speak from your heart, just the same way that Angelina sings. The great thing about music is it can be a way for us to come together. I appreciate his earlier reactions' statements about his karaoke experience, and I believe his judgments here could be well-supported by his observational experience in those venues. I know those aren't the same as listening to hundreds of bands in full concert mode, but it does give the listener a chance to see how different performers affect one audience after another.

This is a real Angelina Masterpiece. The slow buildup to that 5-tier, ascending crescendo at the end, is mind blowing. Yeah...we all say that every time we hear a new Angelina song - "Oh, yeah, this is my new favorite, no doubt about it. Nothing can top this!". And then she does! I've lost track of how many favorites of hers I've listened to at this point. 60? 70? Who's counting any more. They're just all too good. What a treasure to find at such a late stage of my life. She gives me a reason to hang on 'til I hit that 100 mark (not that I really needed one), just so I can see where she ends up.

Whenever I see someone react to this song and I haven't seen them before I have to watch. Like most people there are times when I have doubted Angelina thinking I know her vocal profile enough to question her going where it sounds like she is going. I know she is going to have to alter the direction or lose it at the top. Then she does that and I realize there is nothing that she cant do with a vocal. And I have gone into a full blown cry because that is what my brain is wired to go when it hears something so beautiful that my understanding is overwhelmed. Apparently Republic Records is committed to grew her talent enough to please her mom, dad, grandma, and uncle (her manager). They know how to take care of Angelina, better than anyone.

Absolutely one of the Best Reactions I have seen to this great song by the Angel, and I have watched 100's. This, for me, is one of my favorites by 10 year old Angelina. You are in Deep now Dave so try not to hold back so much...LOL.

i never get tired of this one. She is phenomenal .. and so amazingly professional throughout. So many things i love about how she does this .. i love how slow she starts it .. like she had all the time in the world to consider each thing that she feels good about .. leading into the whole band coming in with such gorgeous jazzy horns and ENERGY!.. and she just gets right on board with them .. and the ending .. pretty brave of her to attempt but man do i love it .. and especially her going down to the floor to express just how good it is to feel this good! With her 'roots' being in Jazz, this is such a comfort zone for her. Her inflections give the song so much 'jazzy' feeling, and when you add in her vocal ability through the various ranges she performs here, it's just spectacular. I believe she was 10 here.
