Angelinas gentle touch on this song, is incredible. She is dancing around her notes like a professional dancer, and doing her runs like its just another walk in the park. The world has never seen anyone like her. That is why she is so unique, and that is why she will be what we all hope and dream for. Thank you Dave, you are so fun to watch 😊

I knew intuitively she was good from the beginning listening to her. Then l started listening to vocal coaches about how refined her technique has become through the years. At that point l realized how hard she works and what a remarkable artist she is. It is not just talent or simply good singing.

ernando Abanto hace 2 semanas Angelina Jordan is the most spectacular music artist of the whole world nowadays, due to several factors. First of all, her voice which is unmatched, unbeatable ,melodic, mesmerizing, magnificent , majestic and full of soul, and jazzy and in second place , she is such a Humble person as it is up to now, getting to every body's heart ; ever since she was a child (an infant) has shown that the beauty of a person can be in her own attitude, taking as example her kindness toward another child by her age, where poverty was not an insuperable wall to trespass to support and help another human been, that kind of dignity only can be find in a pure soul . And Because of that there are not many words to express the whole beauty she puts in her renditions, AJ is in a superior level ,above all of the other performers,no doubt about it. Thanks for the reaction.

This is one of Angelina’s most beautiful songs, and that’s saying something. Her voice is stunning, hypnotic, mesmerizing, captivating.... It’s impossible get anything more from this song than we just heard. When Elton does it, it’s pop music. With Angelina, we understand what the song is about, and it’s delivered directly to your soul. I’ve also seen many times what you mentioned-the audience doesn’t even applaud during her performances like this one because they don’t want to miss anything. Yes, she is the best singer I’ve ever heard.

The way she is able to re-arrange even classic songs is beyond belief. Because of her jazz roots, combined with a full knowledge of all forms of nuances and unique techniques that Amy Winehouse developed in her career, she is able to get the most out of her unlimited voice. Breathy-air, riffs, runs, and more and more and more, just mesmerize the listener over and over.

Carl D, ain't that the truth?!! I've seen this on two other reactions where Dave's face contorts at about 100mph an hour, going all over the road, too. It makes me realize how shocked he was when he first heard her - there are passages where he's turned to stone, then comes back to life. Seeing these facial contortions of late - I start to realize how impacted he was in some of his earliest reactions.

I've told you before that I have no singing nor musical instrument talent!!! However, I have one side of my family that are so musically talented. My uncle played jazz all his life. And so many like my favorite Aunt loved and married a man in the same jazz band as my uncle. They are both deceased now as well as many on that side of my family. I'm so touched by your reactions...you remind me of family. You are so calm and soft spoken, and you love the best music eva!! I want so bad to share ANGELINA and your reactions with them...all gone too soon...my heart aches. I feel like..that part of me does. You bring that back to life in me and your reaction is the same as I feel deep down in my soul but....the people around me now..don't get it. They think I'm coo coo. Lol anyway. I know I sound like some of the freaks who tried to friend me for years because of my famous cousin. Who isn't jazzy but...famous. idk...I'm just trying to say, I love how you love and feel the music...Okay, maybe I am cray cray. Lol keep on doing what you do. The bad part of the American audition shows, is that they only allow time for about half of a normal song. Angelina is a jazz master and can throw down licks anywhere she feels like it. She was going for soft and smooth and since she did not go for the belt, she did not win the show.

If you want to hear what this sounded like in a rehearsal, see "Angelina Jordan exclusive backstage rehearsal for AGT" on her Fanclub Mosarz channel (v=vq6ek06Q4RU). Her rehearsals often sound just as good as the final performances. This one, though, makes me nervous. They hadn't quite gotten all the kinks out yet. [grin] She didn't do that exquisite final run in the rehearsal, but probably not because she hadn't worked it out already - you can hear someone off-camera "suggesting" (i.e., singing very badly) the high note in the run that she's not doing. At the very end of the video he or someone else can be heard saying, "I still really miss the…" - a statement that almost certainly would have ended with a reference to that high run. (To which she probably responded that she was going to do it in the actual performance.) BTW, did you notice that she was "wearing herself"? Her shirt underneath the jacket has a somewhat stylized picture of herself at 8 years old. (It's most noticeable at around 4:33 in this reaction video.)

I just found your channel and im hooked.. I love Angelina fist time i watched her singing on Norways got talent gloomy Sunday... OMG! All of Norway was stunned.. Im from Norway and watched her when she sang on tv2 when the eps of NGT came out.. But i really like your reactions and i been binge watching like 13 of your reactions of Angelina...Lol. You should react to some of her songs that she wrote and not songs that she covered. She wrote a song called million miles away wich is written for her grandfather who passed away in 2018 or 19.. Its absolutely amazing. She has diffrent videos and versions to it. One is a "picture video" (idk what to called it) its drawings/paintings that her grandmother has done and are really beautiful.. And there is a live recorded video wich i think its even better. (and i really think you should react to) She also have a song called Shield that she wrote. I heard that she wanted to write a james bond songs and i dont want to say that much about it and spoil it...but im suprised mr 007 haven't reached out yet... This comment got alot longer then i planned and im sorry for the essay. But when it comes to Angelina i could talk for days. Hopefully I'll see the reactions soon and i promise you wont regret it...

I think I like this even better than Bohemian Rhapsody. Her voice is crazy crazy crazy.

I like how she did a nod after her belt; like she was acknowledging the judges and audience. If there is any other interpretation of why she did it, I would like to know.

@@gertwestblad9052 That's very similar to what I've always suspected; a technical maneuver to reposition the larynx in preparation for the upcoming adjustment in tone (basically..she swollowed). But that's just my uneducated suspicion.

She’s the best singer on America got talent for the last 10 years. The judges got it wrong big time.

i never understood music. I mean i listened to some songs and i am super bad at singing. Worse i never even liked to even try to listen to other genres of music like soul, jazz, blues and so on but when i first heard her sing at AGT, ive been hooked for the last 3 days and suddenly music starts to make sense to me and this doesnt even make sense. I'm an architect/designer so when i listen to her, i see colors and so many details suddenly that my tone deaf ear (or so i thought) couldnt seem to hear or care before. Her voice is mindblowing. Now i dont care the genre of the music, as long as it's her singing :)

I really enjoyed your reaction, thanks. In my opinion Angelina's voice acts as a nice counterbalance to hip-hop. Not that I hate hip-hop, I'm just saying it's a nice contrast. Angelina also did some EDM song, 'Above the Water', you might be interested to check that out.

Angela is possibly the best singer ever because of her versatility ... Jazz, Pop, R&B ... she can do it all, but OMG I figured it out and this is because of how you describe the experience of listening to her sing. In the final analysis, it's sort of like the pleasure of having sex. ;)

Could be, I guess, but to me she’s more than that. She’s about what matters most, the meaningful and emotional connections in any kind of love relationship. She feels things deeply and makes us feel them also. There’s no wrong answer. People always respond to good music in a way they can relate to. They see their own story in that music.

@@jeffstumpf9129 Yes, I agree completely about her feeling things deeply. I have a sister who is gifted and from a young age, she always felt things DEEPLY. Angelina is a vocal talent like none I've ever witnessed. She brings so many of us to tears. She's a gift to the world.
