Yes, you messed up the barefoot thing - severely. The story as it goes from how it was told originally is like this. The family Astar was on vacation in her mother's home country, Iran when Angelina was six years old. Walking through city center they met a street vendor girl - pretty poor I'm sure. As the talk goes this street vendor happen to compliment Angelina for her shoes. Angelina gave her the shoes and asked her what's the dream and she is told it is to be a doctor, but as she realized - that's never going to happen. Angelina already knew at the time that she wanted to be a super star singer, but this dream had yet to be realized. Angelina tells her never to give up hope. When they split up they both agreed not to forget each other. When Angelina gets back to Norway, she decide her way to remember is by singing barefoot when performing before an audience.

@@KZread_Stole_My_Handle_Too Now see you got it a little wrong yourself. The little girl was an orphan who was weighing people for what she could get to help her brothers and sisters to get food. When Angelina got ready to leave the little girl said, 'you will go away from here and forget all about me.' Angelina then said, 'every time I perform I will sing barefoot, so that I never forget you, and to tell people that millions of people go without shoes and that she would perform without shoes until everyone has them . So originally Angelina went barefoot as a signal to that little girl that Angelina still remembered her. Then it grew into a way for lots of people to be reminded that millions of people live with out having shoes.

Angelina is known as the barefoot princess as at age 6, she gave her own shoes (shoes Angelina liked a lot) to a 6-7 year old street vendor in the Middle East. She wrote a book about the encounter, which makes her the youngest published author in Norway. In her own words, Angelina speaks about this encounter on NRK TV "Lindmo" with English CC (kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5d3rqaSYKa5ips.html ). She has committed herself to never wear footwear in her performances, until all children had shoes to wear. She's been extremely active in humanitarian efforts, helping to raise tens of millions of euros for those at risk.

I'll add to the shoe story. She was 6, in Iran, it was cold, she met a little girl who was a street vendor and talked to her, probably in Farsi (Iranian). She ended up giving her her beloved green boots. She then went back to Norway and wrote in her diary (yes, this 6 year old had a diary) that when she did this a door opened in her heart and she climbed a stairway to heaven. "It is such great thing to help another person." After that she vowed to perform barefoot to remind us that there are children in need. She has since raised millions for kids' charities. She then wrote a book about this, illustrated by her grandmother, and became the youngest published author in Norway. Just your average 6 year old--genius.

Hi, AJ was 6 yo, when traveling with her mommy in Iran, the home country of grandma, there she met a barefoot girl with scars on her feet, It was bittercold winter and that girl, about 7 yo, was weighing people for a few coppers, so she could feed her younger siblings. Her mom and the older brother had succumbed to a disease. Very long story short, Angelina gave the girl her shoes and told her to NEVER give up. AJ had a sort of realevation and after the girl told her she would pray for AJ every day, AJ vowed to go on stage barefoot until every child wears shoes. AJ gathered between 20 to 30 MILLION Dollars since then for charity. Stay save and healthy. German greetings.

At 10 she had been singing for 8 years. She's an expert and arranges all her own music. She was introduced to jazz and blues by her grandmother at a very young age and she immersed herself in that. It is her most basic foundation and it comes out in most everything she does. Her "Leaked" demo song, I'm Still Holding Out For You, also done at 10 is phenomenal.

She has so much experience already. She was 6 when she for the first time recorded I who have nothing. She´s now 16 when she sang I´m still holding out to you. That gives you one perspective of her as a singer. Because she has always delivered through these 10 years. And to listen to her with her voice that always is "in tune", it´s strong, she´s famous for her typical growls and vibrato. My first reaction when I heard, I put a spell on you. Was like so many else. "what I hear and watch is not physically possible". But now I have taken a more humble approach to A J. She will shine like a beacon over the years in the future. I only do hope people want to tare her apart like the music industry did with Avicii.

Like an old soul, I might say. But this time I would like to recommend one of my favorite groups. I'm talking about the Korean band BTS. Have you ever listened to them? Would you consider giving them a chance? I'm sure you won't be disappointed, they're a group of 7 South Korean young men. Truly talented, very well trained singers with a surprising versatility. Among other things, they sing, write, compose and produce a lot of their music, their songs have deep meanings and talk about important social issues. They are young but they've been around for 8 years now. They are very professional artists, great performers with angelical voices and quite enchanting. They do a lot of genres so I guess you'll find a song that fits your personal taste. To hear current songs at her age 15, you can try the following A million miles... Original 7th Heaven music video... Original All I Ask by Adele... Cover Heal the World by Michael Jackson... Cover You cannot go wrong with any of these, but I would recommend Heal the World to start because it is so appropriate for today's world.

Thanks for your delightful reactions with Angelina. This is definitely one of her best covers, for me. That at the age of 10 only, on stage, so small and young and positioned right between an excellent band and the audience, she is able to calmly face the song and pour such vocal and emotional power into it, is absolutely incredible. Her particular depth of voice, her personal reading about her how to set the interpretation, the wonderful use of vibrato and the ending of her interpretation are exceptional, for intuition and execution. You can choose any of her interpretations, they are all fantastic and completely different, every time she takes a good song, no matter the author or the genre, and rebuilds it in her way ... builds a new masterpiece.💛 🧡 ❤️

Even at 7 in Norway's Got Talent she was barefoot. She was only six when she gave her favourtite shoes to a little girl who had none and she never wear shoes when performing. She speaks a number of languages, Her grandmother is an Iranian artist and her grandfather was Japanese. Her father is Swedish. She also plays a number of instruments, and she arranges all her songs. Band members call her Boss.

Hi there. And thanks a lot for yet another great reaction to Angelina. Yes, she is 15 now ( birthday January 10th). If you wanna hear what she sounds like right now, do a reaction to her "Million Miles", which she wrote to her grandfather who had recently passed away. Just remember to bring some tissues. Here's the link : m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZX-s2NmuiprVdbA.html Much love from Norway ❤️❤️❤️

Angelina has so much talent it is barely believable and the way she performs this song at that young age to total perfection is incredible. The way she ended this song was absolutely magnificent and with such ease. I saw your first reaction when Angelina sang Heal the World and it was great to see how shocked you were by Angelinas amazing performance. Thank you for your lovely reactions

Please forgive me if I have left this message before but it is pertinent to your channel. As a newer subscriber, I thoroughly enjoyed your insightful reaction and look forward to future videos. As you may be aware from your own channel, artists' success online is based upon increasing views. The relationship between reactor and artist is mutual and neither can exist without the other. Because you admire and respect the performers in your reactions, the solution is to consider promoting both of you equally. Thank you if you are already doing so, but I suggest posting links to the artists' original videos as well as their official channels, alongside with yours! Furthermore, and most importantly, please make the effort to verbally encourage viewers to click the links and to like and subscribe to both of your sites! Most reactors do a great job of vocally self promoting, but the artists deserve a win-win team effort as well! Thank you for embracing Angelina's dream to sing for the world to spread love and peace. Just to let you know, she gave the shoes off her own feet, one of her favorite pairs, when she was 6 to another girl her own age who didn’t have shoes. She also wrote a book about that experience making her the youngest published author in Norway. She not only sang at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, she has raised and given huge sums of money to children’s causes and charities. She does nothing you would expect from a person her age!

No Shoes, Angelina’s Mother is from Norway, Daddy Swedish, Granny Irani and Grandpa was Japanese, so English is her fifth language because if she was to become a singing star she had t0 sing in English. Around age 6 the family lived in Iran for six months and one day AJ saw a homeless girl, her age, weighing people on a bathroom scale for whatever coins they would give her. AJ talked to her for a while and the girl told her she had wanted to become a Doctor. AJ told her to not give up hope. AJ had on her most favorite pair of Teal color boots but gave them to her anyway. The girl was reluctant to take them but eventually did saying she would pray everyday for AJ and all the kids with no shoes. AJ told her that when she saw her singing with no shoes, she would know that AJ had not forgot about her and would do whatever she could for the other children. When AJ got back to Norway she wrote a book about it. Her Granny, a Prodigy herself Illustrated the book and AJ became the youngest published arthor in Norways history at age 6.

SORRY people, me again, info: AJ STUDIES music ant the music academies in Oslo and LA since age 4 (FOUR). She wanted earlier, but they accepted her when four. Studying music means all genres including clasics like opera. As you talked about her language, GRIN, she speaks fluently, Norse, Swedish, English, Farsi and Japanese. German and French she knows a few words. Her music instruments are the piano/keyboard and the guitar, it is said, that she also playes the flute and the violin. So this young lady with a tremendous amount of IQ is a genius in more than one way, and no, this are facts. YES I am a fanboy. LOL. Bless you and your family, German greetings.

You have no idea. At 15 her voice is phenomenal and is still maturing. Her technical skill is masterful. Everything is so effortless for her which means she works very hard on every single note she sings until it is absolutely perfect. Should hear her covering “When You Believe” by Whitney Houston ft. Mariah Carey kzread.info/dash/bejne/p3WguNyCaJCbmLQ.html
