It is now official. Angelina's uncle, and manager confirms that A.J. has signed a contract with REPUBLIC RECORDS. It's in the norwegian news this evening.

If you listen to this 50 times like most of us you will tear up each time. Crazy! Oh, listen to her sing Crazy 😊, too!

I've seen this performance quite a few times but you reminding me that she was only 10yo caused me to take it in with that in mind. It is astonishing that a 10yo could own the stage with such a big live band, brass section and all, and deliver the best interpretation I've ever heard, and do it so effortlessly.

The brass is in fine tune and timing. There is a timing confidence Angelina brings to the band which elevates the entire performance. I'm no professional though some have understood the micro pause at the start of a phrase as something 'known' to musicians. The band is aware of it. Brings another dimension to the sensation of Angelina and band being one.

You may be interested to know that Angelina has just signed with Republic Records as their number one priority new artist! She had previous turned down dozens of the biggest people in the industry. This is a huge landmark and we all knew it was coming eventually. This label also has Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Ariana grande, Jonas Brothers and more. We hear that she is generally signing on her own terms hopefully meaning a good deal of freedom.

She is already the best jazz singer in the world, as far as I'm concerned. She sings anything associated with jazz and I feel it in my soul.

@@roddiener Jackie is a great singer/entertainer, but never quite achieved superstar status, she still has that opera type voice, while Angelina has the most beautiful voice i have ever heard, and I am 76 years old. She has the keys to your heart, and you just love her as if she were your own flesh and blood.

@@leebrn8588 Unfortunately for us live shows, concerts, appearances have been on hold for the last 6-7 months. Jackie's 20 now and trying to transition to an adult entertainer, her last album consisted of Broadway tunes and was absolutely terrific, with performances in New York, she has several videos out that are very good, in my opinion she needs more aggressive marketing and management, not sure if her father is still manager, if so it may be time to move on. Her Dream With Me PBS Special was, in my opinion, a Masterpiece, her accomplishments were astounding for someone her age and she was kinda the trailblazer leading up to all this extraordinary young talent we see these days, her future is bright. Then comes along Angelina....there aren't enough adjectives in the english language to accurately describe HER. Her admiration is global, from all walks of life, colors, ethnicities, race and musical preferences, she has good people around her and her future is limitless, the world needs this young lady to sing us a song right about now, we need it. Peace!

"Something about her voice." That "something" is as of yet, undefined. Her voice has the ability to play my emotions like a harp. Oooo If you had plans to do SHIELD, by all means go ahead and do it. You definitely won't be disappointed one bit. She will blow you away yet again with that one. She is a really great singer no matter the age of whoever you want to compare her to. Listen to the original of whatever she is covering some time before you hear the AJ version. She does most of them at least as well as the original and many times her version is even better. Do that with her Adele covers or her Lana DelRey covers for example and see what you think. I'd bet you will honestly favor the Angelina version on many of them.

Great reaction! Love the hair! It's been a minute. Glad to see you back with Angelina. I think this performance truly shows that age has become a non factor. This is great no matter what age she might be. The end is kick ass good! Still lots you haven't seen. Shield, her original, (tv one- although any works) is awesome. During the interview she sings a line from "Diamonds Are Forever", no key tone, just her perfect pitch. This interview is NOT a reaction request, but at the end of the video there's a link as she goes onstage after the interview portion to sing her original song "Shield", live with her band. That would indeed be nice for you to react to. One line especially intrigues me: "Forgive me for what I am". I believe the song is for her mother. I've seen the headaches that very gifted children can cause their parents. I wonder if she is referring to that???

Don't think so. Think she realizes that God is her "Shield". "Forgive me for who I am"? We all know we are imperfect. Especially when singing to an all knowing God. I was an Agnostic from 12 to 28.
