Angelina is the lady of a 1000 voices. The greatest of all time male or female in my humble opinion, and i am in my seventies.

I'm 70 years old and I did "My Funeral Hits". So far, there are 12 songs, including the anthem Of Upper Silesia ("Oberschlesien ist mein liebes Heimatland"), because Upper Silesia is my homeland, there is Ruhe Sanft - an aria from Mozart's opera, there is also "O Fortuna", the first part of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana". My funeral will start with Angelina Jordan's "Every Time we say goodbye", then it will be "Sing me to sleep", because I will sleep forever, at the end of "Feeling good", so that people would not be sad and the last song before the end of the funeral: "Oh God, how great thou Art". Maybe God will let me listen to Angelina Jordan for eternity instead of the angels, because how much can you listen to Hosanna and Hallelujah.

She did grow up... and she has grown a lot more since this. She hit nearly 6ft when she was 13. This performance was from Dec 2016. You will see in future videos that some of the members of this band toured with her in the summer of 2017. She did some incredible performances on that tour. A little late with this comment but, first of all, I hope are well and enjoying life, you are a very nice person. Yes, when she turned 10 she transformed into something that let everyone know she would be definitely be headed for stardom particularly for musicians and anyone involved in the music business who would be in total awe of what she can do artistically. Her voice? What can you say? No one like her on the planet Earth.

I love your reactions to Angelina. Just pure fun. The things that impress me most about this performance is #1 that she is just a young girl, barefoot out there on a stage with professional musicians singing a jazz standard, a real classic, singing with such confidence and cool. She is totally at home with that great band on that very cool looking stage just singing.. no theatrics or jokes, or gimics.. she just stands there and sings with such confidence and poise. And she sings with such a mature and developed voice, adapting it to the style and feel of the song. It just amazes me just how much at ease she is and how much she seems to really enjoy just being there singing. You can see the joy and satisfaction in her cute little face topped by the beautiful long hair after she finishes as she takes in the applause. It is so cute and innocent. I loved that performance. Last height I've heard (and believed) for her was 5' 9", which agreed is still very tall for a fourteen yr old.

The progression of her voice from astonishing to simply unbelievable is so rapid in some ways - we can hear the difference from her at an "early" 9 to a late 9, as she is in this performance. The physical tools of her body develop, and her hard work at training and getting every bit of performance out of her voice pays off. She's devoted to singing, and we're devoted to her.

The sound proves that she is basically a great jazz singer.

The stream was a norwegian song competition which ended after one season. This is a very very good performance by Angelina. 10 years old. I'm living in Switzerland and discovered her thru KZread, so I think anyone in the world that has internet access can discover her as I did. Her parents are very protective of her childhood, which is a very good thing, but that means she doesn't play life a lot and I presume most of her live performances are in Norway and she also stay free for publishing her music, no big record Label contract, those are reasons why she is not so well known, but let face the truth, even like this she start to be known worldwide nowadays and this at 14 yo and under her own Label. Yesss, thanks for this reaction. This is probably my favorite performance by Angelina. Especially that ending is sooo awesome! Blows me away every time. Also I think this is her first performance where there is really not a single trace of a "childlike" voice any more. Très bien, Marie! She has two videos of this song only a few months apart. One at the outdoor border concert which is very good, too, but I prefer this one with the very tight group of supporting musicians, excellent audio and she gets into her final run even harder in this one. This is one of my favorites. I believe that this concert is another charity event. This song was written for a London/Broadway musical in 1965, but it was made famous separately that same year by Nina Simone.

In that song, i love more particularly her ending of the song, where she sings with her whole body, the perfect assistance of the band and her left hand moving in accordance with the rhythm of the music. Thank you for reacting again to Angelina!

I do not know how well, But along the way she learned to plays Piano, Violin & flute. She accompanies adequately herself on the piano in several of her songs. I am sure that over time she will improve. @@js33412 I don't believe she is playing the piano in the WWWY video. See my long comment on that video for my reasons. An imperfect but definitely "genuine" example of her playing is in kzread.info/dash/bejne/e617rNuPdc63Y7Q.html where she's practicing Sam Smith's "Writing's on the Wall" (at 9-almost-10). A more recent example (at 13) is kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3-Zl8OOZqrXedo.html where she's playing and singing Robyn's "I Keep Dancing on My Own" for her Instagram followers. Even taking into account that these are just informal "practice" type sessions, given that she doesn't seem to be significantly better in the latter video than in the former, I'm not sure she'll ever be good enough to, say, accompany herself on piano on stage. Which is too bad. (I'd love to wrong about this, but the way she plays just doesn't seem like someone who is enough of a "perfectionist" about playing to get really good at it. Certainly she doesn't seem to be as much of a perfectionist about her piano playing as she is about her singing.)

I have listened to Angelina practically every day since I first saw her on AGT Champions. Now my favorite thing is find reactors as they go on the Angelina Jordan journey. It's almost the same with everyone. It begins with amazement, and then as you discover who she is, it becomes a genuine love for her. I wish the world had more Angelinas. But there is only one, so we had better treasure her.

Another good reaction & yes her voice is maturing every day. However, I refer to her as the Angel of 1000 Voices, because she changes how she uses her voice to fit a particular song. She plays her voice like an orchestra. One reviewer said she uses her voice like a guitarist doing an amazing solo. The next song you hear will be a different voice, but it's not because her voice changed, it's because she fine-tuned her voice to fit that song, perfectly. Dear Marie, I agree and now at 14 she is already 6 foot tall of course barefoot. The thing I love the most is she still finishes her performances with a curtsy. Not many girls or women ever curtsy anymore so maybe she will get a number of us women to start doing it again.

At just 14 and already 6 foot tall in barefeet since that is how she Always performs because of her vow 8 years ago, she always finishes her live performances with a curtsy. I have picked up the habit again from seeing her do it. Now every time I am in front of 1 to several men I always curtsy and I can tell they LOVE to see me do it.

Tell me about it, I started going bald at 18. I think it is her hair though, she’s always had plenty, so it would probably not be too hard for her to make it huge without extras.

Age 10 was probably Angelina's most prolific year so you may be here for a while. Amira is a lot like Angelina and won Holland's Got Talent when she was eight or nine years old. She is sixteen now and is ranked in the top thirty all time of female opera singers. Don't be fulled though because she sings all kinds of music and is multi-lingual as well. I am sure you will be able to find something in French too. She lives now in South Africa but performs all over the world. She speaks fluent English and often sings in English. This is her first performance but there are many more.
