When you listen to nct's music, you have to throw all the expectations away cause the songs won't ever be what you're expecting and same goes to structure of the songs. NCT and their music is A LOT but that's what makes them so unique and special. It never gets boring with this group ♡

all members are so good and can match the vibe..it was just that sm will choose thier most fave korean members to push..as you can see most members in nct u specifically the main title track were their fave members and add some underrated members..

The 7th Sense was literally a cultural rest no cap, the concept of the song itself is indescribable and the choreo is so hard, no one ever dares to cover it anymore

Nct are the most experimental idol group in the industry. Alot of people say its a lot at first, or they dont like the whistles at first, or they change the beat too much in one song...but thats their style and concept. they are Neo. Neo Culture Technology. So expect alot of their songs to have beat changes, whistles, or "lots" of features. lol but I promise the more you listen to it and understand that its their thing, you will get used to it and you will LOVE it. Nct in a way trains your eyes and ears to think of music in a new light because people simply arent used to it and alot of groups dont do it the way they are. But once you get used to it you will appreciate it that much more. Nct are all rounders. their main vocalists can be main rappers, they are all visuals, and vice versa,...they all excel in dance. Shotaro is the Japanese member you mentioned and hes such a dance prodigy its INSANE!!!!! anyways i am really enjoying these reactions. :)

The 7th Sense is notorious among idol trainees. The choreography is complex and draining, the vocals are beautiful, and apparently a certain mindset is needed to portray the vibe needed. I think one of the reasons why trainees on survival shows avoid it if they can is because they don't totally understand the social commentary of the song which affects their portrayal of it, which IDK why because Ten literally said on one TV show that he didn't really completely understand the lyrics either at that time because he's a foreigner. Even 6 years later The 7th Sense is something that impresses people who see it getting covered.

7th sense is the Debut song of NCT as a whole. Everything start from this song.. This members are the foundation.. the pillar of the whole NCT. This song is indeed a masterpiece.. Despite being the debut song, this song is still very liked by many idols and almost all of the nct members still says that this is their favorite song.

The last song probably feels more Nct Dream-esqe because 4 out of the 7 Dream members are in that song. Also most of the members in Universe (Let's Play Ball) are on the younger side, 5 born in 2000, 2 in 1999, 1 in 1998, and 1 in 1996.

NCT U The 7th Sense Unit was the debut unit of all NCT, and the members were NCT aces. For Baby Don't Stop, Ten and Taeyong were the 2 best dancers in NCT, so the fans were all so excited for this unit. And yes I felt Universe was very NCT Dream. Can't wait for NCT 127 reaction, I think you'll say "interesting" through out the whole video. 127 is the most NEO (experimental unit) lol

Yes, we have the same music taste! I prefer Universe over Make A Wish too. I was also intrigued with NCT U's rotational concept when I first joined the fandom. I would like to recommend the following NCT U songs that I think are worth listening too: 90s Love - Ten, Winwin, Mark, Yangyang, Haechan, Jeno, Sungchan participated in this. The dance practice is a must see too! I absolutely love the choreo of this song. Misfit - Mark, Taeyong, Johnny, Hendery, Yangyang, Jeno, Sungchan were in this. This is a rap song and I really love this song and the lyrics of it. There's a track video for this one but it's not the complete song. I would suggest using a lyric video for the whole song. From Home - a vocal heavy song from Taeil, Doyoung, Renjun, Kun, Chenle, Haechan, Yuta. The lyrics of this song is so touching. (There is a rearranged version of this one which tells the story of NCT)

NCT U members are chosen according to the concept...which also means the whole NCT members are members of NCT U It's often said that SM set the standards really high for future members of NCT using the 7th Sense:- Vocals:Doyoung(The next day Taeil debuted) Visuals yet multitalented:-Jaehyun Rap:-Mark Dance:- Ten Stage presence:-Taeyong It doesn't mean that the future members should be like them or anything...The members of The 7th Sense are extremely talented and they're often called the 'Aces' As for 'Baby don't stop', the members Ten & Taeyong were chosen because they are both damn hawt 🔥

If I look back now, Make A Wish is definitely their safest song(?), it's not as experimental as the others. Yes, it's still a bop, I listen to the English ver. a lot but ngl it's not one of their greatest/most interesting songs. Anyway, I love your honest reactions. I hope you react to NCT again! 😊 As their fan, I enjoy watching genuine reactors try getting into NCT and their journey to knowing them. It's your choice to stan them or not but If you do, I assure you it's gonna be a long ass ride 😂

I also thought as well that the sound this comeback was more on the NCT Dream style but to me I think it because most of the members for this comeback are at the age of NCT Dream while only two were from 127. That's just my thought though. Love the reaction!!!!

For Non fans/new fans Nct U: Every member can be in the song if they suit the theme, dancing, singing and rapping conditions! You were right about it being specific requirements! Nct 127: Based in Seoul, Korea. 10 members with now being 9 as one is in WAYV currently. Nct Dream: Teenage group, they no longer have an age system however! So the teenagers grown up but it became an official sub unit anyways.

So nct 127 have 9 members they used to be 10 until simon says era and after that winwin started being in wayv but there's no clear statement that he's out of 127 the meaning of 127 that this is the longitude of Seoul (were the group is based) it means they will spread their music from seoul to the world They have 1 Japanese member(yuta) and 1 American member (johnny) 1 Canadian member (mark) the rest are korean (doyoung ,taeyong, haechan, taeil ,jaehyun, jungwoo) Wayv they are nct Chinese unit wayv stands for we are your vision they have 7 members they're the newest unit their debut were in 2019 they have 3 members from main china (kun, Xiaojun ,winwin) and 1 member from makau (hendery) 1 member from hong Kong (lucas) 1 from Thailand (ten) and 1 from Taiwan/Germany (yangyang) Nct dream have 7 members they used to be an unfixed unit they used to have a graduation system but they get rid of it in 2020 so after we go up era (2018) mark wasn't there until hot sauce era(2020) he was the only member who graduated and then he came back. after chewing gum era (2016) jaemin had a health issue involving his back so he was in hiatus for 2 years and came back in 2018 with their song GO they have 1 Canadian member(mark) 2 Chinese members (Runjun, chenle) and the rest are korean (jisung,jaemin,jeno,haechan) And there's nct u they're a rotational unit the members who fits the concepts will be in the song Shotaro(Japanese) and sungchan(korean) joined nct in 2020 so they're still not in any unit in 2022 there will be a new nct unit

I just wanted to tell you that you’re literally one of the prettiest person i’ve seen

My personal favorite out of these is Universe too. NCT U also does quite a few ballads that really showcase the vocal line.

I think Make a Wish might have been one of the few NCT songs ppl rly liked first listen actually hahahaha. At least for me, it was on the less challenging side and I liked it a lot more quickly than normal lol

My bias changed every month and now I like all of them tbh and why don't you release your reaction to guide videos though?I mean It would be fun to watch that too

Since you like mellow music you should try listening to beautiful by nct 2021 and check out the b-sides of each nct group because their ballads are insane. I strongly recommend “rainbow” by nct dream and “magic carpet ride” or “no longer” by nct 127 💚

tbh if youve been a kpop stan for a while that could be why you feel that the 7th sense is nostalgic, it was truly everywhere when it came out

on a side note: Doyoung and Taeyong being the real backbone of NCT U

what you said about you not expecting a song like 7th sense sound like an idol song is exactly how NCT captive more the attention of an older age range at the beginning, most of the fandom were already from other sm fandom, having said that I think SM want to shows a mature and diverse genre since they would have different unit for every taste, Having said that because of them not sounding like an idol group is what drag me at first because they keep sounding and SM keeps making KPOP even now days when other kpop group tried to sound more western SM is not, none of their groups are. For example for this NCT year project they could have already throw an english album for example but not, they could have stop doing "NOISE MUSIC" but not, and at the end it works. You would figure it out later. Ive being since the beginning of NCT and it is not boring every comeback is different and it kind of build in your like as well is weird.

Lmao if you think Make a wish is too much just wait until you hear 127s songs their the most experimental of all the units. Their songs have no regular structure and the beat switches up a lot throughout, you got a taste of that with Universe tough. Most people label them noise music because of that so it can be a hit or miss for the title tracks. Nctzens know tough that it's an acquired taste because even if you don't like it the first time you will eventually get addicted to their Neo sound. Usually the B-sides are more mellow and let's not talk about their ballads, heavenly vocals. I haven't listened to Aespa but I've been hearing around twitter and other reactors that their music is similar to NCTs so I'm glad you made that reference.

I wanted to mention that Mark and Haechan are in both Dream and NCT127. :) You mentioned nostalgia with Baby Don't Stop and for me, it's the very Asian melody. It's gorgeous and sounds classic and I love it. On Universe, you mentioned it looks like Dream. Four of the members in that song are from Dream, so it's possible! :) Two others are from WayV, my favorite unit (Xiaojun and YangYang). Mark is everyone's favorite. :) I'm happy you like them and I'll definitely check out your other reaction videos!

If you someone who has never really listened to nct it can be confusing on how the groups work and how they sort there song and members but the fun thing about it i that you never know what your gonna expect so you cant really listen to one group and one song and expect for the other songs to sound or have the same feeling cuz there mv and song always come out differently it just a matter of your taste in music with this group but love your videos keep being awesome

I think one reason you also think Universe is a NCT dream song is because literally all but 2 members around the same age. They're all on the younger side of NCT as a whole Mark being one of the oldest in the MV besides Doyoung and Jungwoo. The rest are literally the same age or younger than him so they could easily be in the NCT dream unit concept in my opinion. I would love to see Shotaro, Sungchan and like majority of WayV be in NCT dream for a song.

Ten and Taeyong go well together in my opinion. Their voices together is like Chefs kiss. Tbh, it took me a while to get used to Baby Don’t Stop.. It was about 2 weeks. I love your videos!! 💚 (Edit) Universe looks/sounds like an NCT Dream song probably because 4 of those members are in NCT Dream. There is also 2 Wayv members, and about 4 NCT 127 members.
