Haechan and Shotaro are my fave dancers getting them recognized by professionals pleases me

What he said at the end is key. “Even the worst”dancer in the line up is an excellent performer. It takes a lot of talent, skill and practice to fall in line with any of these NCT routines. There’s nothing wrong with noticing a fav or a top tier dancer, they shine and deserve it. But like he said, there’s something about their synchronization going up and down. The magic of group performance happens when they move and flow together. NCT are specialists at this, each shines alone, but the sparkle is out of this world together.

Shotaro really ate the Universe choreo all the way up. I love how all the reactors point him out lol

Yuta is my fave. Looking at older NCT stuff especially he was super good even back then and his style is so different. The way he carries in his body.. he's smooth too! They're such a good pair! Ugh! Lol

YES to the henchman bit! idk why, but he often seems like taeyong's right-hand man (literally) when they're dancing together. I think his aggressive but controlled style and energy also contribute to that

I feel like SM's training is really something cause to think a lot of them never really dance before joining SM. Like yes they have had years to improve but even at debut, their dancing level was so amazing for people only dancing a few years.

bring jake on more his energy is everything also love how he asked why ShoSho was in the back ong he has to have more lines for him to be dancing in the front but at the end of the day he still eating it up in the back

It's impossible for a professional dancer not to notice Shotaro at first sight, I mean everyone in nct is a good dancer but Shotaro is on another level! Yuta is also an underrated talent when it comes to dancing, he is great!

The worst dancer in that room is an incredible dancer - just fact, NCT has the best choreo 💕

The way he talks about Taeyong... Proud. Taeyong is special and his hypermobility adds to his style. They are all on a professional level... no lies. Money was spent to train them good. Shotaro is a plus with his training. NCT moves different. Great reaction and you should show him NCT Debut 'The 7th Sense' and NCT 127 'Simon Says' dance practice.

Gotta admit that he’s one of my favorite reactions so far! I see that he loves dancing and speaks what he feels. I love when ppl like him react to nct because I feel it’s genuine and he appreciates the art that the idols produce.

"But why was he (Shotaro) in the back?" "I don't know." I think the easiest explanation is: it wasn't his (singing/rapping) part. Since they tend to have members stand out in choreos during their respective parts, it makes sense for cheoreographers to also pay attention to that and how to rotate the members within a choreo best so they can most effectively switch between back/front/center depending on when each member's parts come up and what formation they'd like to include and at that moment, it was a part where Jaemin was leading so there wasn't really a reason to highlight Shotaro's position.

@@FairyAl I get what you mean but even main dancers go all the way to the back at certain times. for him is more noticeable since he doesn't have that many lines that take him up front or even the middle. it will most definitely change once he gets his unit and is officially given the main dancer position.

I think they want to save him for his permanent unit. Like it won't be that surprising if they unleased his skill that early. They need the hype when new unit debut

That still doesn’t make sense because dancers (main and lead) occupy center positions even when it isn’t their part. They would be to the left or right of whoever is singing in the moment. They chose other dancers to occupy those positions leaving Shotaro in the back.

I think he really nailed it at the end. Yes, the weakest of dancers in NCT still has to keep up with incredibly intense choreo. In general, they learn these routines in 3 days. And then they also need to take into account their breath at all times, so that they are ready to support or control their voice when their vocal or rap part comes. Not to mention being aware of where the camera is at all times (another bit that is choreographed) It takes an incredible amount of skill. And we haven't even gotten into the 3+ hr concerts they will give night after night or the insane busy-ness with any endorsements, modelling and tv appearances they all manage too. I think sometimes we forget, kpop idols are usually not specialists. By that I mean, they don't focus on just one or two core skills and only perfect those (of course, they all have weaker or stronger areas but they have to be able to keep up). They HAVE to be all-round entertainers which means their energy goes into lots of areas and it is a skill set that doesn't quite match any other profession... the closest thing I can think of is musical theatre but if musical theatre performers were also on tv and endorsing big brands and doing magazine spreads... What would be an equivalent you guys can think of?

im so happy he finally got to witness how amazing Taeyong is and also my baby Shotaro *0* so many amazing dancers in NCT and I always say the same, even the ones without dancer position are so good and would probably be main dancers in other groups :'D its also very interesting to see just how sharp 127 choreos are definitely due to how Taeyong runs that practice room XD always striving for amazing performances.

I loves this reaction, I love how everyone recognizes Shotaro's talent! Like they are right and they should say it lol. I agree with him about taeyong in the blue jeans In the last video it took so much away from his crisp clear movements. But I will say they wear their own personal clothing to dance practice videos. Like I've seen yanyang in other videos wearing that pink and black stripped baggy sweater. So I think Tio's choice of blue jeans that day was a personal one but I agree it didn't do the choreography any justice for sure! I also agree I'm not a fan of the dance break in favorite, I usually love their dance breaks but that one is coincidentally not my favorite lol. I love the song and they other choreography just not the dance break. Please have him react to some WayV’s like Turn back time would be so good omg. Also Nct U make a wish I wanna see if he picks out Shotaro again, Xiaojun also kills that choreography as well.

His accuracy is amazing. It is always fun to see reaction and heard comments of professionals unaware of Kpop "mythology" ( the background of every dancer, the concepts, the inspiration and role model of the dancers) and so satisfying when they found out by themselves! His comments on Taemin’s idea Mv was on point too. I always thought that only the last section of the video was worth it in term of choreography and yet frustrating because they had cut major moves halfway like the magnificent body roll, or when his head go up with his arms, or the spinning finger- head. Mv are meant to be graphic and Taemin has excellent idea to enhance his songs in that way but the insertion of the choreography could have been better done in this one and better displayed by more featuring/framing outfits too (Criminal mv was the ultimate perfection for me, graphic, smooth, sharp, adapted outfit to enhance moves and yet set/match the ambiance). Did he react already on Criminal by the way? I would be so curious to have him react on Sherlock, Evening and Everybody as well for Shinee!! Nct as high standards for sure and Taeyong has a unique way attract attention with his fluid moves, he is nit my favorite in term of voice (forcing too much deeper his voice, not modulating it enough yet) but despite loving overall Haechan for his multiple talent Taeyeong is definitely above anyone for urban dance. Thank you to both of you for those two vids!!

All of nct are beautiful dancers and have flaws and cons that they bring in every unit. Shotaro is defined in a different way from how other neos were trained, he’s bringing a new dance aspect to their group!! I cant wait to see how his new unit will be like

I do love what he said at the end so much. Shotaro is an incredible dancer and the other members skill may not be up to par with them but they're good on their own. Heck, im a Jungwoo bias and he had so much going on on his schedule at that time and this is far from his best form but he still did good.

I loved how he mentioned the synchronization of the members, because kpop groups in general have insane synchronization and that's not just based on every members individual skill but also the time the members have spent together. Nct has been training together and living with each other for a long time. Thats experience! I mean yes members like Yangyang, Xiaojun, Sungchan and Shortaro are fairly new to the group but they still have trainne years with the members, like they trained with Jungwoo and Lucas and that was back in 2018-2019 ish where Jungwoo was deemed the Rookie Legend because he passed the SM WEEKEND AUDITIONS; which according to the members and SM only VERY few can do.
