Actually, popping and locking is the speacialty of the kid with "it's time" written on his shirt. He danced and trained popping since he was a child. And altho he's the youngest out of the 23 members of NCT, he was mostly ranked as one of the best dancers in NCT. He's turning 19 this Feb!

@@pumpkin5770 before Jisung was casted by SM, he was a former member of poppin Hyunjun Kids Crew and they performed various activities, when they perform in Dancing 9 (2013), that's where he was casted by SM. :>

this mv was released after they did their cutesy concepts and when this was released, fans were super surprised cause they did a concept that was the complete opposite of their style. it showed a much more mature vibe. i guess for the music video, it shows them being ‘rebellious’ and there’s a lot of chaos and just all over the place which is super cool that it was a vlog style cause they’ve never done it before. the dreamies said that the director didn’t really have anything specific for them to do, he would just say “okay dance here” and they would just do it or “just start running” and they would. so they said they didn’t feel like they were filming a music video since it was so spontaneous

Everytime Chris Boogy watches the Dance Practice section: "They should've shown all of this in the music video"

As a person who've made a cover of this choreo, I can say that it's super exhausting. You almost don't have time to breathe, that's why I agree, NCT Dream is super energetic!

the clip at 1:37 was actually unplanned lol. the one on the right (Haechan) was just teasing/ provoking the one with cap (Jeno) that’s why Jeno chased Haechan but the director found it cute so he put it in the mv.

the kid with the “it’s time” shirt is the main dancer of nct and nct dream! he specializes in popping, but he also knows hip-hop and he picks up other dancing styles with ease! his name is park jisung and he actually participated in 2 dancing shows: ‘Why Not? The Dancer’ with Taemin and ‘Dancing High’ back in 2018! if you have time, i’d highly recommend watching his performances from dancing high. no need to react to them if you don’t feel like it, just whenever you can it’d be cool if you could check out his skills 😆

Can't wait for thiss, I recommend next is "NCT 2018 Black on Black" dance practice there's a NCT 2020 but there's no dance practice yet.

This is basically the turning point of their youth. Before they did all these teen cutsey crush concepts. but this is the mv where they finally matured and are becoming adults. From this point on...their concepts are more mature and more "Oomph." As NCT Dream are the "teenagers" of the group....they are getting older and older every comeback so they are showing us more adult like concepts. Boom is after this and Ridn after that...you can see that they are molding to have a style similar to nct 127 now. Our babies are grown up. Also this MV is just a fun spontaneous mv representing teenagers living the rebellious life causing chaos. Thats really it.

Also, i think they relate it to how the dreamies are adult or almost adult when this song was released and show the evolution of their music from chewing gum era up to this song.

the mv is just them being rebellious teenagers ^^ it was quite the change for nct dream, before that all their songs had been very fun and upbeat, and also jaemin came back after a very long hiatus, so it almost felt like dream reinvented themselves

from what i remember, the dreamies said that when they went to film the mv, the. director and them just walked around LA and whenever something caught the directors eyes, he just told the members to do their thing and so thats why there are so many vlog like clips in the mv. a lot of it was literally unplanned and filmed on the spot hahahah

for the music video.... basically the song is about teen rebellion, so what they did was walk around LA, find cool places, stop, and film there. there was so officially “set” and that’s why the scenes seem so random and vlog footage like, as you said, and why you see scenes like them jumping over barricades and running through the streets !!

Honestly, My First And Last has a seriously complex choreography considering NCT DREAM were all 16 and younger at the time the song/video were made.

I came back again to recommend NCT Dream Chewing Gum, their debut song, to know how much they changed from that concept to this. And I highly recommend the Chewing Gum dance practice hoverboard version. Also, their songs My First and Last and We Young has the same young and cute concept with chewing gum but all the choreos of these songs are difficult so i really recommend it.
