@@maecornelio thanks! I'm a fan of NCT but I haven't kept up with Shotaro much. I'll have to keep an eye on him:)

shotaro just has really clean, legible movements and his limbs are sooo long. he makes it seem so effortless but still puts his spin on the choreo and that’s why i think he stands out so much

Lol I feel like Shotaro is making SM’s casting directors’ lives difficult while they are trying to find members that can kinda keep up with him for the Japanese subunit. I feel that’s why he is in the back a lot so he doesn’t distract from the members in the center

i doubt so tho? There is a gap in skills btw kai and the other exo members. He stands out a lot yet he is in the centre all the time. Prob for nct, the other members have bigger solo fandoms and would 'protest' if their fav members doesnt get enough centre time

i love the yuta and mark appreciation 😩😩

One of the reasons why shotaro is so clean and sharp is bc he went to a dance school and learned all the different dance styles. Mark is also really good at dance as he graduated and studied dance back in high school.

I love that Mark can totally hold his own ground next to dancers like Shotaro. Mark is really an ace through and through!

Mark’s dance skill are CRIMINALLY underrated so I’m so glad that she noticed how much of an amazing dancer he is.

@@jamiemoran i think its more so people who know him know he's a good dancer but they don’t recognize him as a “dancer". he's more of a rapper that just happens to dance really well. hopefully im making sense but mark is universally known for being a really good rapper first before anything else, juxtaposed to someone like taeyong who is namely recognized as a really good dancer even though he's also an amazing rapper. theres a big difference in being a rapper who dances and a dancer who raps, you know?

I would love to see her reaction to Favorite by NCT 127. That choreo is soooo good.

Shotaro was part of a dancer crew and he's a professional dancer in Japan before he joined NCT. SM really hit a jackpot on him.

I missed her reactions! It was because of her that I started watching your channel and became a fan (it was a video about NCT too!) Love her energy and the comments she makes about the choreography and members.

Literally like iirc the chances you HAVEN'T seen Mark in an NCT choreography is only if you watch Make A Wish, Work It, Ridin or Boom 😭 (and omg WayV too)

I have missed Zin! 🥰 I love her reactions! Manifesting the Yuta/Ten/Mark/Shotaro unit. I reckon I would lose consciousness, but it would be well worth it.

Shotaro was a professional dancer and he even choreographed dances for artists in Japan. He has been training since he was a small child and it shows. He’s at the the level of professional hip-hop/modern dancers that you would find in pro-classes at millennial dance studio in LA like Sean Lew. You can see everyone stepped up there dancing and energy in this unit to better match his. I wish they would get a choreographer from L.A./NYC like Tricia Miranda(he would kill her JÔCKÎN choreography she taught at main event❤️) or even Quick Style and Reina from Japan or bada lee would fit and showcase his dance style. Since every dance that SM gives to him is too easy and doesn’t showcases his true ability. Even the choreography from the connection dance video that just came out isn’t challenging enough for him. Even though I get that SM trying to have him work on performing more like a idol while dancing. But, they need to show his true skills in his solo performances. There toning him down so he doesn’t standout too much while dancing just like YG did with Lisa to better match other members for her more cohesive look.

Welcome back. NCT is filled with professional dancers. Musicality on point... many strengths. Shotaro is the new addition... one thing that is now true is if you dance next to him your movements better be tight, your lines clean... or else he'll make your perfection look basic. Mark's swagga is his and his alone, love it.

Shotaro is just an amazing dancer and hugely talented! They need put him in a unit and quit playing around!

I know it’s not just me because I’ve heard this a lot from others, but there was something about the way Mark dances in 2021. Like, he had always been an outstanding performer, I know. But it feels like he was able to come to terms to who he actually is as a dancer and it just translates into this mesmerizing presence he’s been exuding recently. Still crazy inspiring to me though that a person of his caliber and level is still visibly improving. Sky really is the limit. I just have so much respect for him 🙌
