Tip for when it comes to captions, unless the caption options just say "English", don't bother with anything called "auto generated". You guys clicked on "Korean (auto generated)" and then had it translate that into English. Auto generated means it's just the youtube processing trying to grab words they recognized and translate them, but it's never accurate. Captions that are just the language name and no auto generated are ones that were officially written out and uploaded by the company. Just don't bother if you don't see "English" in the list lol Knowing the lyrics while the video is going isn't necessary and sometimes more distracting than anything. And if you need the lyrics bc an mv doesn't have them (most older kpop songs don't have eng subs because that was before the time when western audiences were tuning into kpop songs more often) I recommend watching a lyric video before or after the mv (that way you get to hear the song twice and get a feel of it more) or just pulling up the English lyrics on google through Genius or somewhere else.

FYI: SM Entertainment didn't start putting English subs on their MVs until 2018, so unless you happen to watch an MV that says it has been remastered, you won't find English subs on any of SM's MVs that were released before the middle-to-end of 2018. (NCT-U's "The 7th Sense" came out in 2016.) And if you click on the CC button and it says "English (Auto gen.)," this means these are subs that are designed for the hearing impaired and they only work on videos where they are speaking English. The way auto generated subs work is the computer listens to what is being said in the audio on the video and it attempts to interpret what is being said in English. Therefore, on a video like "The 7th Sense" where they are speaking in Korean, the computer is trying to find English words that sound like the Korean words that it hears, it's not translating the Korean lyrics into English. That is why the subs look like gibberish. However, if you were to click on the CC button and it just says "English," this means either the company or a fan has taken the time to translate what they are saying in Korean, or whatever language they are speaking, into English. Although, if you want to know what this song is about, just search "English lyric video The 7th Sense" (or English lyric video with the name of any song). There are lyric videos that have been created by fans for pretty much any Kpop song that has ever existed, and you can find videos that translate the song in almost any language a Kpop fan might speak. Therefore, it's not hard to understand what a song is about. Plus, what's cool about lyric videos is they usually are color coded with pictures of all the members who sing the song with their names, so that you can see who is singing each line of a song, which may help you start to learn their names and identify each of the members voices, as well as help you to be able to get to know their role in the group. That way you will eventually be able to tell who is singing or speaking at any time without even having to see them.

In NCT-U's "The 7th Sense," what you are seeing, as part of NCT's dream concept, is supposed to be the use of the 7th sense. Humans have 5 physical senses -- sight, touch, hearing, taste and smell. He also have an unreleased song called ´qtah´ that means quality time at home, it is really short but it`s so good, it was made when we were in quarentine, that´s why it´s its name. Another unrealeased song of him is ´bad smell´, you can check both qtah and bad smell in a video nct uploaded here called ´sunny side up`, he does it with other nct member and it`s was a live, I love this video.
