To say Eddie has elite level pressing strength is absolutely accurate. Seeing him strict overhead press the 216 kg with ZERO leg drive, solid lockout, was one of the more impressive feats of strength he did.

All the stuff he already has advanced him like three years in training. When Devon goes there. I think Devon will just show him like three moves to really master. Brian’s chest is so damn big he can’t do certain stuff on the pad with his elbow. So Devon will have to just show him a few things to master. Once he master it. Holy crap imagine trying to crack Brian’s wrist or getting into a hook with him lol. Look how easily he pinned Eddie. Just remember Brian, was trying to cut weight in Strong Man because of the way the tournament formats were running. Brian wasn't even able to down to Levans weight, that is the size difference we're talking here. Levans Max Bench Press, which is one of his main lifts, was 260kg for 1. Brian without focusing on his Bench, was doing 240kg+ paused Bench for reps. Brian grip strength is godly among Strong Man. Levan might be the king Kong of Arm Wrestling. But Shaw is a newly Hatched God Zilla

Brian is very cerebral and measured with his training. This is a man that LOVES to lift. He needs someone like Ryan, Devon or MMT to show him the various arm wrestling specific exercises so he can establish a baseline and begin making progress. We all know table time is more important for technique, but adapting his existing strength for arm wrestling movements will help him get comfortable with putting maximum effort into his pulls.

I think Eddie would really benefit from some table time with you. I think you could coach him well. And Brian, the potential is scary there, with some solid work, he could really be a force. His grip is solid, bicep and back strength would be unmatched, so really once he learns the techniques, and strengthens those small muscles which make arm wrestlers different, he could be amazing. And if he really gets into it, his work ethic is 2nd to none. 💪

@@Hhhlll7778 Sure, and Brian "back then and skinny", would look "even more ordinary". That wrist of Levan is definitely solidly over 8 inches there, and the guy was a noodle. The fists are huge for a young soccer player that he was back then. Brian is super far from Levan, and Eddie is not "the strongman", when it comes to hand strength. Ed´s hands are pretty ordinary. Sure he is plenty strong, but there is an untold number of labourers that would smoke him in hand and finger endurance and strength. Strongmen have good wrist flexion and a solid grip, but few have "crazy" hand strength for real. As crazy as it might sound, it is a based fact, that they lack the training history of many labourers. IDK if you remember, or know of Mike Burke, but he was a SM competitor and an Arnolds strongman Classic podium finisher. He was about 330 at 6´6", but he had hands that he used since pretty young for work. They were about as big as Brians, but better developed and thicker. He always had better grip than Brian. He was kind of "by far" the one who came the closest to simlutaneously cleaning 2 "inch dumbells" (172lbs with 2 and 3/8 in handle) at once. Brian could take them quite high, but Only Mike was "just missing" the turnover, while Brian could just not make them turn "at all". Mike was the strongman grip guy with Felix some 12-10 yrs back. He also was extremely consistent on farmers, as his hands were just tougher than Brian´s. People that shook their hands(big guys themselves), have said that Brian sure was big and strong, but as far as overall rigidity and heft, Mike had him beat. Burke was a tad better at grippers aswell, not just thick bar. Mike was like Layne Snook, but Mike´s hands are a bit longer than Snook´s. Before Khaled Jashell, the big handed mechanic from Cameroon, Snook was deemed the best thick bar lifter in the world. There are stronger guys out there still. Brian can just lift the Millenium dumbell pretty well, that one is also 2 and 3/8in, but weighs some 230lbs, while Jashell was just grabbing it, and doing repetitions with not long a pause inbetween. His reps were with way more authority than Brian´s. Brian sure is strong, but even if he did come and lift the inch "back then" as a basketball player, it is important to understand that is not quite that crazy a feat for a guy with solid big hands. There are guys out there throwing hay around and whatnot and they are good for CoC 3.5 both hands, and some can definitely smash the 4 on both aswell. They just aren´t known.

I think Eddie has a detached long head of the bicep of his right arm; wouldn't this massively restrict his ability to perform at a high level with his right arm? Wouldn't he be better off concentrating on his left arm when it comes to arm-wrestling?

Problem here is lack of knowledge on how to pull INCORRECTLY (and avoid) Especially Eddie messing about. They are BOTH too strong and there's a high chance of injury due to poor technique. They both need to get hours of maybe 20% power and rort movement, (correctly) under their belts. and should have an armwrestler on hand to coach (control them)
