I like Bleacher Report, but this was a pretty bad list. Stuff like Scottie Barnes being higher than Desmond Bane and Aaron Gordon was wild. And the worst take was Steph at 6. I doubt he's going to regress this year, so unless they're heavily factoring in availability, I don't see it.

Bruce brown was great but Jeff green wasn’t that consistent on either ends of the floor for nuggets, it was more of his veteran mentality that was valuable. I think holiday won’t get as much minutes as u think, 7th man would be Christian braun as nuggets are banking he’s gonna take a next step, potentially Reggie Jackson at times, and I can see Peyton Watson really getting minutes this year and helping their defense like brown did.

And Murray and MPJ are defensive downgrades from Will Barton and Monte Morris which makes the warriors offense even more deadly. And knowing the good coaches out there, they will make defensive adjustments. You can't just say "oh the nuggets one. Every other team is trash now." That's not how the league works. Then why aren't we doing the same thing with the heat? Seems like recency bias is getting to ya.

Even if they go out in the 2nd round, how does that make him not the best player? Giannis just lost in the first round. Curry just lost in the 2nd round. Luka didn't even make the playoffs. You shouldn't get penalized as a player for your team's defense. That's such a dumb way of looking at player rankings. Jokic isn't the best player because his team won the title. He's the best player because of his body of work over the last 4-5 years as well as his historically great playoff performances.

@@jf3295 Giannis literally averages more free throws than Embiid, so that point is not going to stick. If injuries are an excuse for Giannis, then they are for Embiid (Knee Sprain with minimal recovery time). Embiid is a complete offensive package. 3 level scorer with ability to get a bucket from anywhere on the court. Giannis relies on his physical advantages primarily to draw fouls and punish teams in the paint, and can't shoot or hit free throws... The reason they lost that final game to The Heat. Embiid is the defensive anchor for his team, Giannis has DPOY candidate Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday to help lock up, although I won't deny Giannis's defensive prowess. Lebron is clearly not even top 5 anymore, don't use his past to lift him up today. Giannis is one of the faces of the league, no denying that. Edit: LOL deleted their comment

Jamal Murray doesn't belong on that tier 1c list imo, every other guy there is someone who is the number 1 option on a competitive playoff caliber team. I don't think a team with Jamal Murray as their number 1 option is on the same level as a Donovan Mitchell or Ja Morant lead team. Other than that the top 20ish ain't bad
