Derrick White is entirely too low. I’d rather have him than about 4-5 guys above him. I also kind of feel the same way about Quickley. Overall a good list.

Giddey averages more assists than sga with his being the most on OKC. he is the opposite of a catch and shoot he is a playmaker. that is what he was drafted for and that is what he has shown off. MJ had the ball in his hands more than anyone else on the bulls but he isn't a PG. Having the ball in your hands and taking it up doesn't mean you have to be a pg it's just what happens when you are the best player on your team.

I'm a Spurs fan so maybe im bias but personally, i probably would've put Devin Vassell at #9. All those guys in the 8-18 range ahead of Vassell didn't have to worry about being the primary focus of the opposing teams defensive schemes which Vassell was whenever he was on the court He is also better defensively than everyone in that range aside from Derrick White and like 1 debatable. Most of those guys benefitted from playing with 1 or 2 stars so Devin wasnt getting the best shots. Swap Devin for Reaves or Poole and i honestly believe Vassell couldve been putting up atound 22 a game and he wouldve been able to focus more on defense. Vassell was definitely the Spurs best player last year I wasnt real mad or anything seeing him that low, i believe he onoy played 38 games so maybe that played a part. Next year, with defenses concerned with what Wemby can do, Vassells scoring will come more easily, his splits will go up and hell be able to focus more on defense instead of having to worry about scoring as much. Last season was a bit of an disappointment defensively due to that but he should be so much better next season and i believe he'll be in that 6-8 range firmly for shootin guards Real fun video and good list though

Huge Austin Reaves fan. I was similarly thinking wow he wasn’t an honorable mention when he was getting to like #15. It’s a bold take at 12, technically 13 cuz Dejounte Murray was accidentally left out. I think he can play around that rank this year, but need more sample size (IMO) to anoint him that high in these rankings.

Huerter is too high. He’s extremely streaky and has been shit in the playoffs in his career. Besides that game 7 vs the sixers a few years ago he has been a brick in the postseason

Derrick White is starting at point guard and he’s way better then several guys you have in front of him if you think Green, Simons, RJ, Poole and Herro can impact winning more then White I think you are totally confused on what actually translates in playoff basketball

I can’t understand why you constantly overrate RJ Barrett he wasn’t even that good in playoffs he averaged 19.3ppg 4.5reb 2.8ast .8stl .2blk 2.3TO 43.3/32.8/76.9 splits and team worst -23 on the court. He has moments but I think it’s pretty obvious Immanuel Quickley was a more impactful player the entire regular season their advanced stats are not remotely close on either side of the ball

Anthony edwards is ahead of Donovan right now, he’s a better point of attack defender, he’s a more reliable playoff scorer, he’s a better athlete. He’s also a better play type tell me the small guards that have led a team to a championship outside curry (he’s the exception to the rule), you need size and strength in a playoff atmosphere. He is also coming off a playoffs where Donovan was outplayed by brunson badly and Edwards was probably the only star to compete with Jokic

Reaves is indeed crafty at drawing fouls. Similar in that way to Harden and Lowry (no shade, just saying). It is a factor tho in someone’s value to a team. Ability to take walks in baseball is an analogous trait. Getting on base matters.

@@bkelly625 he’s playing next to Bron and AD who open up the floor more than Jimmy and Bam. Defenses never really gear up to stop him. Unlike with Herro who gets blitz on every screen. Herro is asked to do a lot more, and he’s still pretty efficient. Defensively Herro has weaknesses but we’re not about to play like Austin is a lockdown defender.
