Kevon Looney is so badly underrated. Dude plays great defense and gets nearly 10 boards a night. Shoots 63% from the field and was crucial to the Dubs title run. Should be around 15 ,- 20 rank at the worst.🎉

The system in Golden State is not set up for him to score a ton of points and that's not what he's good at either. He is a better all-round player than both Timelord and Steven Adams. I would say he is right in the middle of the overall centers list. I put him somewhere around 15. 16. Nikola Vucevic, Bulls 17. Jonas Valanciunas, Pelicans 18. Kevon Looney, Warriors 19. Jusuf Nurkic, Trail Blazers 20. Steven Adams, Grizzlies This is a sporting news list.

As a Nets fan I'm obviously super duper high on Clax, I reckon he could be top 10 next season given his growth and being a contract season.

Appreciate the love for Steven Adams and your ability to look past the box scores for him. It's also funny that he was traded for JV (who you ranked directly below him), along with a Lakers first that was SO close to transferring as a lottery pick, and moving up from 17 to 10 in 2021. Unfortunately, Ziaire looks like a bust thus far...make or break year for him this year. NO also dumped Bledsoe's contract, so I guess that helped for them, too.

Wendel Carter Jr is so underated simply for the fact he is the one guy who does well guarding Jokic. now if you look at the numbers, Jokic still averages 55% when guarded by Carter Jr. You might think I'm lying, but as a nuggets fan, every time they've played Carter Jr genuinely makes Jokic work hard.

Kevon Looney is better than everyone you listed under 13. Above Vucevic. And before you say "delusional Warriors fan", I want you to analyze what wins games. Pulling down 20 rebounds in 3 games wins your team a playoff series. Navigating dribble handoffs masterfully opens up your offense in a way where you don't need to score to win. Being a facilitator in the short roll helps you win. Switching 1-5 helps you win. Knowing key rotations on defense helps you win. His value is wildly apparent in the playoffs, and people forget or look at his regular season numbers as if that's all you get. Who cares he doesn't score. He provides REAL TEAM WINNING VALUE, and shows up big every playoffs.

Pop has already said Zach Collins will start at Center this season. Small sample size, but he did average 14.6 PPG (37% 3pt) 7.6 RPG and 3.8 APG in 26 games after the Poeltl trade. In SA, we’d like to know where h’d rank on this list.

I disagree with this list because I don't understand your criteria. If you want to talk about impact to winning, which it should, then how is Kevon Looney not in Top 30? Not only does he starts as center for the Warriors for the past 3 years, he has played every single game as the second longest games played streak only second to Mikal Bridges since you keep mentioning availability is your greatest ability. He led the league in offensive rebounds in a team that is just uncautious with its threes, can you imagine how hard it is to predict where the ball will end up off the rim? People only remembers Curry's performance vs the Kings last year, but Looney averaged 15 rebounds in those 7 games. Looney Tunes also had a game winner vs the Hawks last year in the double OT during the regular season, how many centers can you say has hit a game winner? How many centers on this list has 3 rings? Outside of your top 10, most of your centers either plays on a bad team or is just a regular starting center that either has some offense or has some defense skills. If thats the case, you might as well put James Wiseman on this list because indivdiually without looking at anything else, he qualifies to be Top 30 in the league with the potential in the future.
