Russ is inconsistent and not a good fit with some teams. With that being said, he did not drop off too much from 2021, where he’s at least a top 20-25 player. Putting him at 94 is way too harsh for a player his caliber

It's a controversial list for sure, as every list is every single year. The Top 10 in itself was filled with a lot of uncertainties. LeBron at 9th pissed some people off, especially with SGA ahead of him (although I'm personally all for the Shai hype), Jimmy not even being top 10 after what he did in the playoffs, Embiid at 3, and then obviously Jokic vs Giannis. Where I do think Jokic deserves it. I mean come on, Jokic just won a title and FMVP in resounding fashion, and you can use all the excuses you want for Giannis, but truth is, this is similarly what Jokic has been dealing with his whole career aside from the fact that he himself is never hurt. This season is gonna be a good one though, more talent in the NBA then probably every before.

Its sad that Embiid is number 3, because MANY players are better than him, he cant just go for 60 against shit team and then he is mvp thanks to 13fts per game, and 75% of those are not real fouls... I hate that players who are regular season players (and not in important matches) get aheead MUCH better players... you are a good player if you play good vs strong teams and in playoffs

Lol and Harden is 34. Jimmy is also 34 now and they were in play in and were losing in 2nd game with 3 minutes left barely made the playoffs and he wasn’t good in finals predicting he will be 17th isn’t outlandish and Herro is a defensive liability and was bad last two playoffs he actually played in after bubble. I’m pretty sure I watch more basketball than you do every night league pass two screens. The league doesn’t stay the same every year… some of my predictions will be wrong but it’s based on evidence and watching how playoff basketball works the last several years also just some confidence I have in certain young players taking a leap. Game is way different right now than even 8 years ago. Inefficiency from 3, poor defense, bad rebounding, not passing, turnovers and lack of athleticism all that stuff can be exploited by the best teams in the playoffs more than ever

Jokic averaged 25/12/9.8 while being the most efficient player in the league and leading his team to the 1 seed, he dominated to a high extent

24:30 - Why you bring up team success as a determining factor for an individual ranking? Is Luka's team anywhere near what Tatum or Steph has around them? Obviously it's not close. Tatum's offense isn't nearly as reliable as Luka! Luka's scored over 40 in 8 out of 28 career playoff games, and over 30 in 17 out of 28 career playoff games, with only 2 out of 28 games being held under 20 points. Compared to Tatum who is held under 20 points in 1 out of every 3 career playoff games. Luka has the highest career ppg in elimination games, and second highest career ppg in the playoffs. Then you add in the fact that Luka is a super elite passer, and Tatum's offensive engine is left in the dust. Tatum being a pretty good defender doesn't erase the massive advantage Luka has on him as a scorer and a playmaker. It would be one thing if Luka didn't perform well in the playoffs like Embiid, but that's obviously not the case. Luka's never lost a series that his team was favored.

I know Zion is an injury risk, but CJ being 10 or so spots ahead of him on the list is insane
