the reason the quiz stats look weird is because the names change everytime the quiz is updated, so more than it being the name that gets remembered, its who fits in which position on the quiz

This is how I feel, but my kinda niche thing is knowing the CBA and cap stuff wayyyy too well. I’m not Larry Coon, I’m not Eric Pincus, I’m not even CLOSE to that or Bobby Marks or something. Not in that stratosphere. But the amount of absurdly niche info I know is so silly. Like why the F do I know when most guys are gonna be RFA, the projected TMLE for 23-24 down to the 10k mark and not just the millions, (it’s 7M and change prolly like 7,020,000, maybe 7,021,000) or that a 4yr full MLE will be around 4/48.88M next yr. This stuff isn’t set in stone yet, based off cap projection of $134M. Won’t know exact numbers until like mid June at earliest depending on when finals end etc. But I corrected someone yday on social when they said TMLE would be $6.4M. Did it matter that much? Not rly. I was just trying to help… (he was seeing how much over tax a team would be in a hypothetical) but still. How much Y1 of a 35% max is for next season,(46.9m) weird rules about trades where I’ve corrected v good credible beat writers on what’s legal. I mean stuff that’s been published on big outlets that went through writer & editor. Not ESPN but some of the biggest hoops sites that pay ppl to travel the country covering teams. Like nah that pick can’t be traded in 2027 and protected in 27/28, it’s gotta be unprotected or 28/29, but they could swap this yr and do a FRP in this other. I’m not a DEN fan, actually fan of a tanking East team, and I know him. If you’re on a roster for a whole season and at least play some (not counting two ways) I’ll likely know of you. Especially on good teams that are on national TV a bit, bonus for late games bc I’m always up late. Like I’d get him b4 a bigger name that was a buyout guy. Idk if Stanley Johnson is still on SAS. I think? Idr if Dragic is on a roster still. I think CHI waived him when they signed PatBev. Idk if someone else grabbed him. But Cancar for sure. He played a decent bit when Jeff Green was out. Distinct name too. Like Fontecchio. If his name wasn’t that I doubt I’d remember he’s on UTA. Kinda odd signing too bc he’s in his like late 20s or so I think. It’s weird how the brain works lol.

There’s that guy on SAC named like Monkeke or something. I think he might’ve gotten waived actually tho? I feel like he got waived and KZ Okpala is still there but could be wrong on that. Unique names def stick out to me. Blanking on who PHX got from OKC tho. Bazley? Then I think Roby got picked up by SAS, but idk if they recently dropped him or not. I remember SAS and Roby coming up on a notification recently. I had no idea Svi was on CHA til last night bc I checked the play by play. Weird time of yr bc of buyout market, teams starting to tank more heavy, two way guys getting rest of szn deals, and that deadline to be playoff eligible that passed not long ago. I wonder why some guys go certain places. I figured Barton would end up on like PHX or LAL, maybe DAL b4 they signed Holiday. Dude had a down yr but he can still hit open 3s, and he’s like 6”6. Instead T-Ross signs w PHX. That was so confusing. Damion Lee is such a similar player but way younger and is shooting better I believe. I figured those two teams needed a 6”6+ guy who could hit C&S 3s badly. Losing Mikal, Crowder, and CamJ. Then LAL has like only Troy Brown who’s actually close to SF size and can hit open 3s. Vando is a 4, v good player but not a shooter. Rui is a 4, not a good 3P shooter. Reaves is good and shoots it but he’s undersized for 3. He’s a 2 that can handle the ball. Barton isn’t gonna guard 6”7+ dudes, prolly not even a + on D anymore. But he’d instantly be the biggest role player who can shoot 3s at a good rate on the roster. Surely he’d be useful for 15-20m on some nights especially w LBJ out. Then you’d have someone beside TBJr to play SF that can shoot. Wouldn’t have to play Reaves at SF anymore, or the worst playing like Schroder/Beasley/AR/TBJr 1-4 lmao. When LBJ is back it just gives you more options. There’s mins for him both places, or DAL b4 Holiday. TOR is weird. They need depth but more like a reliable PG. They have so many SG/SF. And at the time there was no guarantee they’d even get the 10. Likely but ya. You’d think if you’re Barton you’d want to go to a better team, or if it’s a similar seed one, a team you’ll play more on. MIA even? TOR is one of the T10 seeds that made the least sense lol. I thought PHX LAL POR MIA, CLE b4 Danny Green, DAL b4 JH, NOP, MIN, etc.
