Overall I think this list is decent and consistent, but I can't help but notice it overrates some young players who have hype/potential. If you compare them to the players under them it just doesn't seem right. Like Paulo over Wagner and Ayton. Ant Edwards over Fox and Garland. Both stand out to me as purely picking for the future.

Cunningham has the vision and he makes his teammates better. Green has tunnel vision and often misses the open guy and tries some diffucult shot instead. He is very skilled tho.

@@ryan183 I dont care about seed old pacers teams with sabonis had nearly 50 wins multiple times and a lot of teams load manage and struggle with injuries in the west. Until sabonis shows he can be a #2 on a contender (which is a Conference finals team) then he's a #3.

I think you're underating Nic Batum, does a lot defensively that doesn't show up on the stat sheet

Dort is definitely overrated. He is a top 25 defender, but he is just so awful offensively. As an OKC fan, Shai and JDub are underrated, Dort is overrated.

Sorry to say.. if you are questioning if Kessler is better then Gobert, then you read in to blocks like you do with overall rating in 2k and box scores, which is clearly WAY too much. Gobert doesn't get blocks because many times, many players will dribble out and not bother to shoot when Gobert is in the paint. Minnesota has the 10th rated defense mainly because of Gobert and McDaniels, and without Gobert, they would not have been able to keep afloat when KAT missed 52 games. Kessler, who you constantly put on a pedestal? He anchors the 24th rated defense in the league that actually gets less overall blocks than the Wolves... and.. also happens to be LAST in a league in steals. Many of these takes simply require more research than reading box scores. Also, funny enough, DLo at 124 was traded for Conley at 80, NAW and 3 second round picks.. you still think that was a bad trade too? Even though there was a slight with Gobert at 50, you recognized KAT being low at 35 and were good with Ant at 27... That means Wolves have 27/35/50/80/87 ranked players in starting 5 when healthy... maybe they are better then you give them credit for?

@@grapeape1965 you said he isn’t close. Jaden can guard 1-3 no problem, but isn’t big enough to guard posts like Vando can. Great weak side defender though. Bam can switch onto guards from time to time but he isn’t matching up with them. The most he’s guarded a non-big this year is 38 total possessions in which he gave up 17 points and 10 assists to the player. Dray is too much of a free safety on defense now, and rarely guards guards now. Giannis mostly only guards forwards (he can guard guards, but has teammates that do it better than him so he doesn’t) Mikal most guards guards and SFs, he’s only 6’6” and not a big guy so he isn’t amazing against bigger players. He also doesn’t compete quite as much on D now that he is the offensive focal point. All of the Raptors’ wings could compete with Vando in this (specifically Barnes even more so than OG), but Vando has a bigger mix of guards, forwards, and centers than anybody in the league. But we are talking about the gap in ability to guard different positions. Vando doesn’t have much fall off when it comes to guarding guards vs. centers vs. forwards.

If you take away the 5 really bad games Booker had while playing injured, he's averaging the same PPG as Tatum on much better efficiency while also being a better playmaker and team defender. Like yes, Tatum is a better 1 on 1 defender and a better rebounder, but he really hasn't been better than Booker when he is healthy.
