Truth be told...she technically won. However since the winner gets a recording contract with good ole Simon and her parents refused the contract, the next in line technically won the competition. Her parents stated years ago, that they wanted her to have as normal a childhood as possible so no contracts for now. They also experienced the aftermath of her victory in Norway so they are rightfully protecting their precious daughter. Plus she is doing absolutely gr8 singing and building an extensive fan base without any contracts to squeeze the juices out of her at this stage of her young life!

What I love about her, is her ability to convey the emotion. It makes you pay attention to the lyrics. Even when 8 or 9, she conveyed a deep emotional connection to each song. Her rendition of "A Million Years Ago" is mind boggling.

Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not, I find it very intriguing that Lou Rawls, the American Jazz & blues singer legend, died, the same day Angelina is born 😊 Loved your reaction!!!

This performance was the culmination of many years of learning ang growing with her enormous musical gift. A big part of her charm is that she is grounded by her family. She isn’t the typical teenybopper that likes to mimic. She is the creator of her music and delivery. And I feel, as I listen to her, that she is thoughtful, sincere, and focused. This song was my introduction to Angelina. My wife was watching AGT and I was in another room. She called to me and said I needed to listen to this young girl sing. So I did. And I did about a dozen more times that night. Every time she hit that high note I choked up a little. And I’m like, this is crazy. It was like a drug. That evening I went on KZread and started watching everything I could find. Great reaction Adam

WOW!! Bonus day. Brilliant, beautiful reaction Adam, as we knew it would be. Queen did acknowledge her and the show did accomplish her goal. Let's face it...... you can not refuse to sign Simon's contract and expect to win as well. Refusing his contract and having Simon change the rules to let you on without a contract, is maybe the biggest tell of all. Really, she won in every way. I often wonder how often anyone has watched V- Unbeatable, the winners, again since the show? And if so, how often? I alone have watched and listened to Angie, easily hundreds of times since the show. I would think that the ratio of people that have revisited the both of them could realistically be 10,000 to 1 for Angie. What she did in this performance alone shows her genius and the priceless, loving, humble spirit that the world so desperately needs today. The expectations of her are enormous, even before her record deal. I think she will deal with them effortlessly and show the world how it is done. She is family, is a daughter, is music, is love and maybe most of all, is inspiration for so many.

Angelina has a huge fan base of men in the senior years and being one myself I can say that she brings forth pride and our nurturing side. We can’t help ourselves because we recognize how special she is. Angelina is an extremely rare individual. We know we have one of God’s angels in our midst and we want to protect her from the dark side of the entertainment business. We recognize that her soul is pure and uncorrupted and we want to preserve that unique and special aspect of her personality.

Nice reaction! The rest of the video would have shown Heidi Klum thanking the other judges for finally stopping with their comments so she could press down on the Golden Buzzer and send Angelina straight to the Finals. She had another mind-blowing performance when she did Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John. What disappointed a lot of people was that she did not win the competition, she came in 5th! What a crime! Oh well, at least being on the show expanded her fan base and getting more people to watch and listen to her KZread videos. She has an original song called Shield that she wrote and composed which I think you would enjoy. Every time I hear her sing, I get goose bumps! Love this girl!

It does give you another sense of who she really is as an artist and as a person and makes you appreciate this performance so much more. And I want to emphasize that you can see in this video how humble, honest and natural she is! No fuzz, no frills. Just her and a piano. That was enough to conquer the world. She got the golden buzzer from Heidi and went directly through to the finals. Now you MUST react to her performance of "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" another stunner! Actually, Queen did see it. And shortly after the performance they tweeted this: "WOW! What a great rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. #angelina jordan". I'm sure they have heard many attempts to cover this iconic song, and they are probably rarely impressed. So coming from Brian, et. al., this is very high praise. This performance made her known to many people around the world, and the golden buzzer (came from Heidi, which you missed) was written and talked about all that week. Angelina was almost finished with her newest album (all originals) when the pandemic hit. She has not posted anything new this year. So my guess is that Republic (her record company) is helping her complete the album, and looking at ways to promote and market it. I have no clue when and how that will all come about. But she's with a very good company, and her future looks very bright. And concerning family, I think we all feel that we are a part of her family. She refers to us as her "Angels", and if that's how she wants to frame it, I'm perfectly fine with it---and proud to be an "Angel" in her behalf. Thanks Adam, for another great reaction to the fabulous Angelina. So glad you finally got to hear this one. 😊💕 P. S.: You missed the golden buzzer, so if you would like to see it, it's at the end of this version: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aZuFzsyxlcS0pbA.html

I'm glad you finally got to react to BR's version of Angelina and thanks for the amazing reaction, Adam. It's hard to react to an interpretation like this, you can only be impressed by the fact that Angelina at only 13 years old was able to face a challenge with such an iconic song as this and made her become her own song, with a fantastic reworking, a calm, powerful and terribly emotional interpretation and a great courage to take him to one of the most difficult audiences of the show. The best of Angelina ... is Angelina, 😆 🤗 She searched her way for her version of the song and chose the lyrics that fit. Simply, changing the times and the reading key, based on her ability to understand and elaborate the song which, for a girl of that age, is almost supernatural, she created HER Bohemia Rhapsody. She just loves singing and does it her way. ❤️ The 3 year old little girl in Norway had a dream, while watching the Talents on TV, to sing one day for Simon, I would say that after only 10 years she achieved it really well, she fascinated him ... and not just him! Isn't explainable how it is possible, that every time I, and many other fans, listen to this interpretation of her (I must have heard it at least a few hundred times), I am carried away by her voice and by the emotion that arouses me ...

The second performance, she did her own version of Elton John’s song “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and her last performance was a trio, with two other artists, the song she sung was Someone You Love. Angelina was better than all the acts....the show is actually rigged. Angelina didn’t win cuz she didn’t sign a contract with AGT...so kudos to Angelina, she doesn’t need AGT. I believe her uncle has been a big supporter, helping her in the music industry, I think he has a huge roll of her singing with a label. Great reaction, looking forward to seeing more. Cheers

Living in Europe, I had to stay up 'till the middle of the night to see it "live" and no one had any idea what song she was going to sing .... and her opening a capella phrase had me totally stunned. What a brave move to chose this song, all I could think was _"This girl got guts"_ and I was totally frozen until the end of her song - probably just like that open mouth girl we see in the audience towards the end .... It was such a wonderful moment and I still get those goose bumps and _shivers down my spine_ as I did that first night.

That was a great reaction Adam to Angelina & a nice little commentary, it was spot on. History was made, If anyone's brave enough to do this song, in her rendition of the song, they'll be compared to her, for it's her song now. Think of it she took a iconic classic rock opera & stripped it down & turned it into a jazzy/bluesy, soulful ballad at age 13. Please support her music, CD's, iTunes, etc.. So many (even Disney) producers have been trying to get her to sign with them. Her & her mom just tell them no, (she wants to finish school 1st). Her family is very protective of her, they even formed a production co. for her (Angelina Jordan inc.) so to try & keep the industry’s claws out of her. She's a rare talent that comes by once in a lifetime. Angie is music. She can do any genre & sound better than most originals & she's still very young too. She’s 14 as of 1-10-20. She made her outfit using the pattern of an artwork, from her grandmother. She makes several of her other outfits too for shows & concerts. Her uncle got a great lawyer & she just signed with Republic records as of end of Aug 2020 (she won’t show on site until her 1st album comes out). She’s their top priority right now. I hope you buy her CD when it comes out & react to it. A God given voice & talent. What amazing timbre, texture, liquid gold vibrato & amazing rare skill of tremolo & the pitch perfect skill as well as her Melisma’s are out of this world, also no sound comes out of her mouth unless she wants it too, control beyond most of the pro adult singers, etc She's very sweet, respectful, humble, giving, & a loving Christian in real life too. You hit the nail on the head when you talked about Angelina as "family." We watched her grow from a tiny child with an amazing voice into the amazing artist you witnessed today. BTW, she already released this as a single in January. She has also been working on album as an independent artist that has been on temporary hold due to Covid-19. I don't know what's on it or how Republic Records plans to finish it, now that they have her under contract. Glad you finally had the opportunity to hear this out of this world performance. Very, very nice reaction Adam.

She is already a superstar in my books 1st as a human being and 2nd as a performer and 3rd as my secret adopted daughter.

So well done, Adam! So great to see that you understand us long-time fans of Angelina (I discovered her when she was 8 years old). We see our angel grow and we hope and tremble because we know that her way will lead her inevitably among the sharks. And we are happy that her family knows this and protects her. It moved me to tears how she apologizes to her family in her song "Shield" for being a burden to her family with "all that she is".

I always love your reactions to her. It was meant to be a tour de force and it is a tour de force. She's so confident, so in command. Her little curtsey. So humble. She cries when Heidi presses the Golden Buzzer. I love the way Howie starts off annoyed and ends up beaming like a proud parent. And Alesha looks like she's going to cry. Even though the audience is coached, you could hear a pin drop even in the quietest parts. She said when she was young that she is never afraid when she sings. I've been listening to her Happier and loving it.

To me, the best part of her performance is not the magnificent belting, or the confident acapella, or all the beautiful runs.. It was the 'I don't want die...' part. I know she was just singing a song, and she was only 13 at the time, an innocent kid at that, but it sounded so earnest, so honest, so real, and so convincing, as if she sings from her own truth. Amazing.

We have all been waiting for you to do this one! It was a good idea to cover some of her other works before coming to this one. I think by having a good background on Angelina you have a much deeper appreciation for this one. I think you got a little taste of what it was like for all of her fans that have been following her for years. When I watched this as it aired, it was such a special moment. In the months leading up to AGT all her fans were speculating on what song she might sing. There were lots of guesses, but I don't think anyone guessed Bohemian Rhapsody. I can even describe the goosebumps when she sang that first line. I can't imagine the pressure of having 2.5 minutes to show the whole world what she could do. She went up there and did it so well, with such grace and humility. She packed so much into that short performance. And she used just enough of each of her little flavorings to show that she had it, but without showing it off. I know that you are going to listen to this many times again (probably already have), and you will find that the more you hear it the more your appreciation grows for what she was able to do there. It's just a masterpiece IMO. You asked what we thought of it... I could literally write 10 pages on what I think of it ;)

She didn't win; some circus act did, but she accomplished her mission. First, she wanted to impress Simon and she certainly did that! He knew he couldn't sign her , but she sure as shit blew him away. Plus, her popularity and exposure went from about half a billion admirers to more than double that in one performance. And what a performance it was! All three of her performances on the show were spectacular.

While I know people have things that they overcome in life early AGT didn't depend on such gimmicks!

But Angelina has always made sure to retain control of her music and I'm sure Republic acquiesced to that .

@@BlackWolfSpirit Actually the acrobatic team from India was amazing, but there are other acrobatic groups that will rise to match their act. I can't think of another singer/song writer that I would compare to Angelina. There have been young singers like Brenda Lee. Bob Dylan wrote and sang at a young age, but he didn't make an impression until he was in his late teens - older than Angelina is now. Neither of these singers nor any others of the time covered the scope of music that Angelina has mastered. I compare Angelina's gift to that of Mozart. Angelina's sense of jazz, pop music, her ability to rework classic arrangements into something uniquely hers, her amazing new compositions, her vocal range and her rich, deep, soulful voice she adapts to so many different styles shows genius!!! Absolute genius!!!

In a recent interview, her uncle/manager said that AGT always wanted Angelina to perform on the show but were always turned down because she didn’t want any contractual arrangements that might bind her and restrict her artistic creativity. Finally AGT relented and gave Angelina what she wanted. They needed her for their ratings and she needed the exposure in America. Congratulations for getting to the 15k subscribers mark. Very well deserved. I have seen many reactors that post so many videos and always remind people to subscribe but their channels hardly grow. What I discovered about you other than the fact that you are very knowledgeable about music, is the fact that you always show respect to the artists and your viewers whether you like the performances or you don’t and agree with the comments or you don’t. David, I've gone into a lot of detail about what happened and why she finished 6th. But, what I really wanted to share with you is the fact that Heidi actually gave it away when she told Angelina just before she began to sing, "Thank you for coming!" Huh? Thank you for coming? Sounds to me like she was a guest, not a contestant. Suffice to say the ridiculous voting set up actually made it easy for AGT to accept the judges decisions. And, I think we all agree that the Yellow Brick Road, although masterfully done by Angelina, was not a good song for the finals. However, it didn't matter because the final result was already decided on. AGT went as far as to put her against the top Filipino singer in the elimination stage. Otherwise, the audience might have rioted if she was eliminated by a gymnastics team!

The highest compliment one can give to Angelina and one that she would treasure in her soul, is not to say, as a reasonable, objective recognition, that she is a child prodigy or a musical genius. It is to say, rather, like you did, Adam, six times, first in your intro, at the 0:39 mark, as a subjective, intuitive observation, that she is "an incredible artist". For, it is one thing to be a singer, a vocalist, but it is another to be an artist. It is one thing to be an amazing artist, but it is quite another to be an incredible artist, in the strict meaning of the term, which is impossible to believe or beyond belief.

She has said a few times that there are agreements made behind the scenes but she (and anyone else who has tried out for AGT) are not allowed to discuss the details of those agreements. So we will never know what agreement was made between Angelina and AGT. Personally, I think Angelina truly wanted to perform on AGT for the exposure to help her mission to improve the quality of life for children. I did find it interesting that after getting the Golden Buzzer, all 4 judges went up on stage to congratulate Angelina. I have not watched AGT very often. Is that normal??

I can't make up my mind whether your decision to react to Angelina's Bohemian Rhapsody was timely or premature. It did give me an excuse to watch and listen to the performance again - as if I needed one. Yet I fear you will hold the opinion that this is Angelina's "ultimate" performance, although I did note your remark that you were not certain that it was your favourite one. On balance? Yes, I am delighted you reacted to this, especially for your facial expressions during the whole performance. You didn't really need to say anything afterwards :-) As you have got to the teenage Angelina, perhaps you would like to react to what I consider her most heart wrenchingly emotional performances. It is her version of Chris Isaac's "Wicked Game". All the singers I have heard perform this song treat it as a love song. Angelina is the only one who recognises it for what it is - a song of obsession, or if you will, obsessive love. Should you wish to react to it, the best version is a video produced by Sune Amtoft, which may be found at the following location: age 13 - "Wicked Game" - kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z311r6htdqfMp5c.html As a matter of interest, I have listened to three (I think) young singers perform Angelina's version of "Bohemian Rhapsody, since she released it under her label Angelina Jordan Inc.

She does a brilliant rendition of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road in her second performance on this show, you should have a look. I agree with you that after following Angelina's developing talent through from 7yrs old to now somehow gives you almost a parental pride in her success! She has such a deserved confidence and yes, fearlessness like no other at her age.

Adam, very true. I feel very proud and protective of Angelina, like my own loved and admired daughter.

Adam, that was an excellent reaction to my favourite singer singing one of my favourite songs ever. Your face said so much too and your reactions are always thoughtful and worth hearing. This performance is the only one ever that gave me goosebumps when I first heard it.
