Since I live in Germany I was looking for the first video of Angelina's Audions on KZread on the night of January 7th. The first video had 1.8 million viewers from 6 a.m. to the afternoon and was then blocked. The second video from the Talent Recap KZread channel had over 11 million viewers after 1.5 days and was then blocked. After three days I had videos with Angelina's performance in my playlist from over 33 million viewers, after two more days 79 videos were blocked. I find the behavior of the production company sad. 😥😥

@@brucecumming8803 , Just the fact that you can't find a video of Angelina's audions on the AGT KZread channel says it all. I do not share the speculation about Simon Crowell. It only affects the song Bohemian Rhapsody, the other performances have been uploaded. The AGT the Champions 2020 Show, all shows have been recorded in October/November 2019. At this point all copyrights had already been checked and all songs were approved. The only thing that has changed by January 2020 is that Angelina released her version of Bohemian Rhapsody in January under her own record label ANGELINA JORDAN INC. Angelina also owns the copyrights for her version. 🤗🤗🤗

You said it perfectly... she breaths new life into old songs. She has actually said that one of her goals is to give new life to these classic songs that she loves and bring them to a new generation to enjoy. She not only does that, but she also brings them back for an old generation to enjoy in a new way. Lots of these songs she sings I have heard my whole life, but I don't think I ever _really_ heard them until Angelina covered them. The way she is able to take established songs and make them her own makes me really excited to hear the original music she is going to bring us in the coming years. Congrats on the growth of your channel! I'm glad that the Angelina fans have been able to be a part of it. :)

As an atheist, an Angelina performance is as close to religion as I ever get. Her music and her persona represent all things beautiful and decent in the world to me. Adam, you mentioned you “hope she stays that way”, in reference to her outstanding personal qualities. A few related thoughts. From what the public sees, she is very mature, confident, and grounded for her age. Although that is also my belief, I have to remind myself that she is not an adult, as she turns just 15 next year. Who really knows what’s going on in any teenager’s inner world? This is a reminder to myself to allow Angela some “youthful folly”, and that there is no such thing as perfect. And to contradict myself immediately, this performance was a 'perfect' cover. So much for consistency.

As a fellow atheist, I will drop a link to Sissel who was Norway's young girl in the 90's before she spent most of her life out of the limelight while raising our kids. Last year she did "slow down" having turned 50, and in this time of too much news - I keep going back to it. kzread.info/dash/bejne/d3qZmpaOj8LRpJs.html&ab_channel=TheTabernacleChoiratTempleSquare Still atheist, acknowledging that religions have inspired some good "tunes" through the centuries. And I agree - she is still a kid (and luckily allowed to be a kid. For me, I am curious to where SHE will take us in the next chapter of her journey).

I loved your reaction for Angelina’s performance of “Yellow Brick Road.” Like you, I have never been fond this Elton Jon’s song..when it first came out. When I heard Angelina sing this song though...it all suddenly made sense and the music surrounding it was really beautiful. It is amazing how much an artist can affect a song and have this kind of an impact with it, especially when they are only 13 yrs old. It is also amazing that she has that much depth in her “young?” soul to dig so deep and reimagine the story of this classic. She did this while not robbing this classic of it’s identity. She was respectful of the creation and honored the creator...and really gave life to a classic so that so many that would not otherwise have been able to hear. I love that you are enjoying your Angelina Adventure and journey. There are 2 songs of hers that will be very impacting on your view of her as an artist. It is like nothing that you have heard from her and is actually very different than most of what she does. One is when she is only 10 years old and for her to deliver a performance like she did on this is mind blowing for a 10 yr old..really any gifted adult artist would be thrilled to call it their own as well. The other is a phenomenal version of a song that she was working out on her electric piano..(some footage of it is shot). She like the results so it became the final version. It was said to be the 1st time that she actually worked on it. When she was finished she went out and played with her sister! So she was 11ish. This one is epic as well. Especially for one so young. The depth of the pain, sorrow and desperation that she can portray with such a haunting performance is spellbinding. Her genius in being able to tap into the grit and pain in relationships...at this age.....well she is just a little musical genius. Is all that I can say. I’m still holding out for you kzread.info/dash/bejne/dqpsz8x8mJjPmag.html Wicked Games kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z311r6htdqfMp5c.html

👩🏻🎤🎵🌎⭐️🇳🇴❤️ You know, I was just saying to myself last night, "Self, it's been a long time since Adam reacted to Angelina..." In the 9 months that I have been listening to Angelina (every day, by the way), I have often found that the more times I listen to a performance of hers, the more I come to appreciate it and recognize it for how remarkable it is. This is perhaps no more true for any Angelina performance than this one. There are songs she sings that I would otherwise never listen to, but for the fact that Angelina is singing them, and then there are songs that I already liked, where listening to Angelina sing them was a revelation, like hearing them in full stereo for the first time. For me, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is one of the latter, and over time I have come to appreciate and enjoy more and more how masterful her performance is here, and how incredibly rich and beautiful is her voice. I look forward to your next Angelina reaction.

I watched her at 8 years old walk bare foot to the middle of a huge empty stage. Except for the mic stand and her microphone in front of over 40,000 people in South Korea. She then gave the thumbs up to her sound man stood waiting for her music to start looking about as unconcerned as if she was waiting for mom to pick up from school. The music came on and just like now she blossomed into the butterfly she always is when the music's playing. She sang her 3-4 songs flawlessly then walked off the stage like she had done nothing special while the audience was losing their minds. She is the most unflappable person on the planet when it comes to her singing. So a crowd like this is child's play. I believe that will be the hardest battle she will have is convincing the people in the business that her formula works and works best.

A fusion of genres, a song starts out in Pop but switches to Regae and/or Country and/or Classical Opera for emphasis part way thru, carrying jazz touches throughout. Maybe I should give her another ten years of development. Wow, that's almost a scary thought. That determined little 10 year old at the end of the B&W I Put A Spell On You, staring pensively into space (or other dimensions?) trying to decide why it hadn't sounded exactly the way it did in her mind ... She avoids Sarah's use of a hard expression in the sections where Bernie T was critical of the "industry", instead Angelina goes emotionally soft, almost crying along with us We didn't cry when Elton sang it. Sarah made us cry for musicians trapped in contracts. Angelina makes us cry for ourselves, trapped in lives smaller than we had hoped.

Adam, it took me a while but, correct me if I'm wrong, it seems like Angelina understands that there are so many beautiful songs on the shelf that had their moments of glory and she has decided to revive them so that the newer generations can hear them and enjoy them. Sure, she's particular but she is so versatile and can handle almost anything. She tinkers with the songs and actually makes them her own. At the same time she doesn't mess around with the integrity of a song. But, when she adds her style, her tone, her interpretation, the song becomes alive again. I think she has 4 or 5 originals already in the open market and I have a feeling she has a line up of new material coming our way very soon. Adam, the accolades she receives about her voice and all her techniques are nonstop. But, there is another "something" added to that which makes us care so deeply for her. Her humbleness is off the charts, her love for people, particularly children and she loves to sing to everyone, young and old. And, tell me, doesn't it look like she looks right at you when she faces the camera? And, the uniqueness of her smile! Adam, she compares to no one......

I’m a little late in coming to the party so I will make this short and sweet. Your reaction to Bohemian Rhapsody was amazing. I sensed a great deal of real emotion from you and quite rightly so. Now you know how us Angelina fans feel about her. Your reaction to Yellow Brick Road was also amazing. You commented about her clothes did you notice that the print on the T shirt she was wearing was a print of her when was seven with her long messey black hair and her teeth pointing in every direction. You have mentioned in the past that you couldn’t wait to her do an original. Now is your chance. She just released her first single with Republic. The song is dedicated to those people who have lost a loved one but I think especially her Grandpa. It’s called Million Miles to say it’s amazing is a vast understatement. Still working on Aurora. Almost there.

Weird thing about music, how different people's tastes can be. I'm no fan of Elton John by any stretch of the imagination, but Yellow Brick Road just happens to be the one song by him I actually do like. And as always, Angelina puts her own unique spin on everything she does. Just wish the performance had been longer, but I guess that's the nature of these talent shows... Ok, I'm off to check out your Kalandra reaction (I have no idea who they are)...

Well, you've done a lot of her by now. You still have many more gems of hers yet to discover. Ain't it great!!!! It just never gets old. Just for yourself, look up later versions she did of some of her earlier stuff you already listened to. She has done, for example, I Put A Spell On You several times at several ages. They are all different. Same for a few others. Very interesting to see how her performance of them evolves. Fly Me To The Moon and Summertime are a couple others that have more than one performance.

Great review. Angelina is already a superstar. Although she deserved to win the show, since her first song on AGT she has more than 300 million KZread views. The U.S only has 327 million people. The World population is just over 7 Billion. Angelina has over 1 billion video views on her Facebook page. Angelina is a world-class superstar and one of my all-time favorites.

"Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" is to me Elton John's masterpiece; not least to the lyrics talking about the dangers in the music industry. It was an interesting choice for Angelina to sing. And she ended up NOT signing a contract with the AGT franchise. She didnt win AGT but she walked out the winner as she beat them all; including the contract. I love that people say they found new love for this song with Angelina performing it. Good analysis as always Adam! Cheers!

13 years old when she performed this! It's very, very easy to completely forget how very young she is. She is barely in high school lol and already signed to a major record deal. /shakes head Angie, as long as she has control, has accomplished everything she sets out to do. She wanted to sing on NGT and AGT, check. She wanted to sing at the Nobel Prize Concert, check. She wanted to sing for Simon, check. She wants to be a superstar, check. What can't she do? I'm starting to think that singing is only the vehicle for whatever it is that she was really sent her to do.

Adam, G'day 🙌 I would be intrigued as to what your thoughts are on her rendition of 'I would rather go blind' and 'Miss Lovely' .. Unbelievably, 2 songs I go to on a regular basis. How does a 12 year old compel an adult such as myself ,to want to listen to her as if its for the very first time hearing it. Have a go at this Adam, I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much. Of all 130 Angelina songs, this is my #1 & that says it all. Look at that audience, you could hear a pin drop. As Howie said in the comments she is "hypnotic." I would say "mesmerizing," but either works. That high note run toward the end, is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. She is like a wild animal howling at the moon, it just melts me!!! Another Classic song she re-interpreted is the Moma's & the Papas, California Dreamin'. Of her many masterpieces, it is near the top. It's another video at home with Ivan on guitar & Angelina when she was 12. kzread.info/dash/bejne/d3Z9ma2mY92dXbg.html

Just listened to you reaction of AJ again as I wait for your next reaction of her. Your reactions are fun to listen to because you really hit on so many of the aspects of her talent and how she applies it to the music. Each song brings you a new fresh performance....she wears many faces when she performs her music. Even if it is just in her grandmother’s livingroom..or a different room or even a small recording area. She has been known to dress for the song that she sings. Like a couple of songs by recently late stars, she wore black. Freddy Mercury' “The Show Must Go On,” She wore a theatrical mask at the.start. “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” She wore Country Western......I think that Bohemium Rhapsody’s performance had her in an outfit that she had sewn and her grandmother had actually painted the design of the cloth....it was also fitting. She doesn’t have the elaborate stage settings, costuming, band, lighting.......so she does what she can with her own creativity and her parents and grandmother’s help..... Really has done so much with so little is a testament is that she didn’t need all of the “extras” to be noticed....all of these covers and even performances were her journey thru her education of techniques, performances......we and the music world have been able to see a little girl from the age of 7 sing a countless number of songs in a period of 7+ years and get to watch her voice develop.... It really is pretty rare to see something like that. As I wait patiently for your next reaction, which is coming soon....with hopes that it is “Wicked Games” I just would also like you to know this. I just finished listening to it with some other reactors and they all are astounded at the depth that she has in this piece. I don’t know..but if you ever heard whale calls in an ocean......(This Chris Isaek’s song) but if you hear AJ sing this...you will get that same feeling and almost sound when you hear her sing it. For a 12 yr old..it is.”how can she know how this feels? The depth of pain that is felt?...... You tell me? Genius?
