I’ve said this a million times I’ve been single for 7 years and it’ll take someone who’s genuinely interested in me for me to change my relationship status. And in my 7 years being alone I really learned who I really am and I’ve enjoyed my single life. I absolutely have nothing against women I just decided to stay single all this time. I enjoy being single and I do eventually want to find someone absolutely. But I’m in no rush to find anyone I’m glad I’ve never been a chaser, if I don’t get back the attention I put into her. I walk away and pull back entirely. There was a girl I really liked at the church I go to and every time I talked to her it was a one way conversation. So I let her go and I’m still like friendly to her and say hello to her when I see her. But I’ve moved on and let her go

Not to be contrary, but if that was the formula that did the trick. They, eligible ladies should be beating down my door by now. It seems that the kinder, more engaged and generous one is, the less it is appreciated ultimately. I am convinced that the majority of women are so accustomed to being treated poorly by men, (especially older women who have had several longer term nightmarish relationships a result of repeated poor decision making) that when they come across a man who treats them with respect and dignity they reject it because it’s so foreign to them. I’ll tell you ladies, it’s maddening!!!

I think the just work on yourself advice only works for women. They are not going to approach a guy unless he is a 10. For most guys they are the ones who need to take the initiative and I believe women expect them to as well. I have been working on myself, mostly financially, and after 20 years I can say I have achieved financial independence, I am still single though. The few times women have approached me was when I was young and broke.

Just a series of hookups and friend with benefits. I even went to a pickup bootcamp, spent a few grand for nothing. But I got to see the whole attitude of guys who go out regularly and approach women. Consistency and perseverance seems to be the only key to getting the women you actually want unless you're a solid 10 like you say. No way around it. And I'm 6'4'' with a lean body, makes little difference if you aren't the one doing the approaching and saying the right things.

No, you're just picking the wrong ones. After dating for the first time in my life at age 38, and going on around 50 first dates, I can tell you that men have a boat load of issues. I had a good dad and was in long relationships with good men before now so I was very surprised. Many of the men I have rejected will say that I have issues when I absolutely know this isn't true, I simply was not into them and I ended it nicely and early. In the past few months I've been verbally abused for not opening texts quickly, told I have attachment issues, been lied to and led on, been sexually molested and emotionally blackmailed. These were guys I went on a few dates with. I've also met a few great guys. What I refuse to do is pander to men in case they call me a bitch or say I have issues. I dust myself off from these events and look at what I can do differently, I don't get butt hurt and start blaming all men.

Then everything changed when I started having respect for myself and invested in myself, I went off the radar for a few months and ignored women , my messages went mad. Now , I don't chase , I replace. I give women 1 chance with me , disrespect me 1 time and I ignore you. There is not 1 woman on this planet that I feel I need to impress. Not anymore, I don't hate women, I actually love them , but I don't put up with being dissed now. I'd rather be single , than be disrespected.

I get into it with women over that kind of BS. When I first started dating my wife, her sister and her friends acted like they hated me. Many of them talked trash...to me, about me, about men, etc. I was a PUA and had spun plates for years...ever since getting cheated on and then ghosted while in the Marines. To this day, even while seeing 4,5, 6 women at a time, I've NEVER cheated on any woman. I simply told them that I was seeing other women at the time. Women talk trash about men in my presence and I laugh at them, then counter with the stories of all the guys I served with getting done dirty by their women. My SIL and some of her friends have now been cheated on, abandoned with kids, etc. They see me...still with my wife and not hitting on any of them. They don't say jack to me anymore about how I am, nor about any other veterans. Not in my presence, anyway.

Love your dress, print is cool, linen? Mad style. Bravo! Well spoken great communication style. You really listen. You show real interest and provide insights. You don’t agree with everything at the same time you let it be know when you do. You are genuine, true to yourself. Kudos.

Brilliant content! Not a single dig at him for any of his options. How refreshing this is. A real lady, thank you for your video.

I loved how you said the issues represented in the video are due to deep unresolved trauma, how one should learn to love his/herself before becoming dateable. Most of the time, alot of people start developing an idea of hate towards the opposite sex when they get rejected, neglected or cheated on, etc...They think it's due to something bad they did when in fact it has nothing to do with them in the first place and everything to do about how the other person feels about themself. Stoicism really came to my mind when watching this video, "do not get emotional about things on which you have no control", you be the best person you can be to the point where you're truly sincerely happy with yourself and only then start inviting other people into your life. If you're not happy with your life, do not think that entering a relationship will make all your unhappiness go away because it won't. Great video overall.

Courtney, I don't know what your credentials are, but I think you give very good advice. I do know that I feel better after listening to your advice. You see, I recently needed to end a relationship with someone whom I had previously fallen in love with. Although I loved her, the relationship was no longer healthy. I was miserable most days. Instead of being healthier and happier, I was less healthy and less happy. Anyway, I happened to stumble upon your channel, and I just wanted you to know that your advice has helped. Oh, it still hurts, but it hurts less, and I am reassured that I made the right decision. Thanks!
