    @@paulharrisonadventuregearm5457 So one guy out of 7 billion who happens to be in ultra successful musician and famous celebrity.. Yeah I am pretty sure his life isn't like anyone else who looks like him.. And your talking to men not women here so we don't need a few exceptions to the rule, we know they exist, that doesn't break the rule. It is a generalization, and accurate.. most women want a man taller than them period. I'm not short, I'm average and yes I've dated taller women, I married a women taller than me lol.. but it doesn't happen often.

    Whether a man or a woman, the problem starts as soon as the phrase “I want” is uttered… The ability to compromise, accept people for their quirks or look past imperfections is a modern cancer on dating. Our 21st Century expectations are ridiculous to the point of counterproductive.

    I ran the numbers while back and it's concentric circles of qualities. People over 6ft are 15% of the us population. People earning over 100,000 in the us is 9%. Assuming an even distribution of attractiveness rated from 1-10, 30% of the population are above average attractiveness based on female standards. This means that women are looking for fractions of a percent of the population to settle down with before personal qualities or demands; Specifically it's 0.405% of the population. With the US's population of 340,000,000 and a very close to 50-50 split of genders. This equates to 685,037 men. And this number is more than fair given that women have more stringent attraction standards. That the population is distributed on a bell curve, not 10% across the board for attractiveness. And whatever arbitrary standards they apply remove EVEN more men. It's absurd. Many women are ruining their own chance at happy relationships.

    @@rasmachris94 I believe taller guys make more money on average than shorter guys. I would put money on it, for one already majority of sports players are over 6 foot tall probably 95% so already that would put a lot of millionaires in that category for starters.     @@rasmachris94 A few years ago I calculated the numbers on myself. Based on height, appearance, wealth, and IQ, I determined that I'm 1 in 31,250. I then made a Venn diagram and posted it with the math on my dating profile to see what would happen. Needless to say my likes dried up. Women actually unmatched with me. Haha! I wasn't surprised, but it's very telling that women have that much aversion to a man who knows his own value. It is interesting how the statistics work. If you put me in a stadium with 30,000 random bachelors do I really think I'd be the ladies' top pick? Of course not. The math would suggest I should be top of the heap, but I can't even get a date on Bumble. In reality women are far more shallow than they admit. So, we can toss out the Venn Diagrams because we know all of the men who are a 9 or 10 in handsomeness would be chosen first. So, for example if you happen to look like Brad Pitt, then the ladies really wouldn't care if you're dumb as a rock or have no sense of humor. Or, if you live in a 8-bedroom mansion with a swimming pool, then you can be 5'5" and still get a good wife. Question: What percentage of the male population do you think is at least six feet tall, has *AVERAGE* looks, *AVERAGE* personality, *AVERAGE* wealth, and are unmarried? Answer: Less than 1%. {14.5% x 50% x 50% x 50% x 45% = 0.8%}

    This is why guys rip their hair out when it comes to dating, they ask a logical question in guy language (objective, dry, logical) then get a reply in womanese (covert, coy, subtexts). Men think women are just as rational and dry as men are, and women don’t understand why guys can’t read the hidden signals.

Having physical attraction to your partner is important but beauty fades for everyone, it’s no good to have a super high standard for those things I’ll never understand girls who will only date a guy if there obnoxiously tall and hot LOL

    Actually here's the 9 qualities women really want in a man but wont admit it - and this is proven by online dating data: 1) Be very attractive, I mean more attractive than the average attractive guy - like top 10% of the male species attractive. 2) Be handsome. 3) Have well defined abs. 4) have well defined arms, shoulders and chest. 5) Have full head of hair - unless you are really muscular then it doesnt matter. 6) Be at least 6 feet tall. 7) Act uninterested in everything, that way you can seem brooding and misterious so she can spend hours trying to "figure you out" with her girlfriends.. 8) Never talk about yourself. 9) Be rich.

    The pre-selected part is so true. So many times I’ve gone to a bar where I’m going to meet my very beautiful wife and other women around me don’t notice me at all. As soon as she come in, sits down next to me and it’s obvious we’re married everything changes. I notice the same women at the bar or the female bartender totally checking me out. At one place, a women sitting next to me asked me out when my wife got up to go to the bathroom. I’m decent looking and in ok shape and dress pretty well like I have $$. But none of these attract females as much as when they see that I’m married to a hot woman.

    Absolutely true. This is a core reason I disagree with red pill stuff bc they teach to not be friends with women. However going out with 2/3 attractive women friends regularly gets you looked at differently. You get the benefit of the doubt instead of being considered BSing. When those friends leave to go get a drink or go to the bathroom girls approach or send flirting signals. Maybe it's competitiveness or preselection but either way it's effective and game changing.

    I have very little sympathy for overweight women who complain that few men want them. Their challenge can be solved by going to the gym and losing weight. Even older women can have all the male attention they want with a little discipline and hard work. And it really isn't that hard. On the other hand a man who is short and/or bald cannot change those things without either growing six inches or spending thousands on iffy hair transplants. So I have zero sympathy for fat chicks in actuality. But again I must say that playing a piano and singing a bit has never, ever hurt me.

Love was not this thing that could happen to everyone or anywhere, rather I learned that for women it's a practical thing, something of convenience or status, sometimes it was infatuation but that was mostly short lived and never truly sincere. It took the wonder out of the concept of what I once believed was love, and I have since stopped believing in the concept.

    Me the same. When I was younger, I thought I would be guaranteed to be married and have kids by the time I turned 30. I thought love and marriage was a given thing as you got older. How disillusioned I was by the fantasies of love and happiness. I'm 48 now. Single. Was married to my ex wife for 10 miserable years. I was 36 when I got married. I really struggled in meeting women and never picked up a whole lot of experience in the dating scene. I felt like I was running out of time and just decided that I was gonna settle with the next woman I get in a relationship with. Things got off hot and heavy right away and for a while, I thought I was happy and thought she was finally it. Then came the red flags after we got married. If I had picked up on the red flags on her before we got married, I would've baled out of the relationship. My fault for letting things peddle so fast instead of taking more time to know her more. Those were 10 years I learned about myself and what I really want in a woman, but I wish I could get those 10 years back. Now I'm back to square one. I'm happier now that I'm no longer married to her. We're actually much better now just as friends. But as I look myself in the mirror and realize where I stand now, I feel like my chance at happiness is fading away and it may never come my way. The harsh reality I'm facing now is that there ISN'T someone for everyone and anyone who thinks otherwise is living in their own happy dream world. And I hate it when TV shows depict the nerdy, unpopular, underdog gets the hot girl. Sorry, but in the real world, the Leonard's never get the Penny's.

    Courtney is super insightful and does a great job explaining her views. I liked how calmly she assessed Alexander's video, which on first blush she appears to have a very different view from. However, she compartmentalizes his views so well (into 'how to get a girl, but maybe not keep her') and meshes it with her view on how to keep a girl. I have a great relationship and agree with all of her observations. I plan to introduce my kids to her channel - I see her as providing a reasoned and insightful take on how to be a better person, and thus how to create the groundwork for great relationships.

    What Courtney missed is that he was talking about an article. So when women are asked the question, they give the answers on the list. What gets a woman's attention are the items on Alexander's list. Courtney nailed it before she started his video, "What we say and want we want are completely different" Now you can say she said she wanted all 18. However, the article didn't say that, so either the writer wasn't being honest or the women gave the 9 answers in the article, but failed to mention the 9 on his list. Meaning that even if everything in the article was on their list, they still did not say what they wanted because the other 9 were NOT on the list. His point was the article would have been more accurate had it included some or all from his list. My thought was an article with the top 5 on each list would be more accurate than just the 9 written up for the article.

  • @buffuniballer

    @buffuniballer

    Жыл бұрын

    @@sienkiewiczmonika1161 hmm, let me look. The title of the article was "If a man has these 9 qualities, never let him go Scientists Say" So it doesn't really say if the man is in a relationship or not. It could equally apply to the men that women meet. Seems to be a stretch to say it's geared towards people already in relationships. Certainly cannot narrow it down to people in romantic relationships. But let's assume you are right, that it's geared towards those already in relationships. How does a man who cannot even get a second glance from a woman demonstrate these characteristics? Frankly, I think some from BOTH lists would be more accurate. Pick the top 5 from each list, or at least acknowledge that if he's lacking in Alexander's list, he'll never get a chance to demonstrate the qualities on her list. That was his point, a guy looking the list in the article and focusing on being that person doesn't get a chance to demonstrate those qualities. I.E. what Courtney said before starting his video, "What we say and what we want are completely different." So is he really misunderstanding, or does he understand that while one thing is said, just like Courtney admitted, at the very least, it's not ALL of what she wants. The items on his list gives the guy a chance to demonstrate the ones women are willing to say out loud. By omitting the ones on his list, they are not being fully transparent about what they want. This isn't a dig at women as men do the same sort of thing. It's like the joke, "A businessman decides that it is time to hire a new secretary and has it narrowed down to a blonde, a redhead, and a brunette. Unable to choose between the three of them, he decides to conduct an experiment. At the end of the day he places a five dollar bill on the ground in his office to see how each girl would react. The blonde sees the money, picks it up, and places on his desk and then walks out. The redhead sees the money but ignores it and walks out. The brunette sees the money, looks around, and puts it in her pocket before leaving. Which girl did the businessman hire? The one with the biggest breasts"

    thanks Courtney these are really good and your a good non bias presenter. Really altho theres numerous things to understand about a women its not that complicated to get the basics right. Women are complex but once a man starts to understand partners thinking, and because they want to, partner will respond making you happy in return. Its a win win. Men who dont or wont try to be the best husband, the best lover, the best father, partners closest friend, they end up in routine and very average existences. If the man can get a woman to fall in love with him and returns that love equally, he will lead a completely different and fulfilling life. If you love each other more after twenty years together your both winners. Men who dont try are losers. Compensating by earning lots of money is no compensation. Its a payoff to stay quiet. I love all women (except the 3 b's: bitches, bad tempers and baggage), and getting close to a woman, is unreal. Forming a long close platonic friendship with a nice attractive girl really is unbeatable. PS - If I were religious Id thank God for the gift of sight.. lol. Women are beautiful.

    Just new to your channel for the first time. I loved your honesty and Emotional Intelligence most of all, which is what I seek for in a long term Relationship . I think all of us want and seek happiness and Joy. I want it long term on a foundation of trust and mutual respect. A committed relationship is only found in marriage. Physical or superficial Lust, is not Love, but will actually destroy it, and it can and will only be temporary. Who wants to invest themselves in a selfish short term relationship that will only cause them pain and regret later? Porn really teaches men how to NOT have true intimacy. True , happy intimacy is much deeper and way more fulfilling and satisfying to the soul, than all the fake intimacy pornography could ever provide. For me, my greatest want in a relationship is to be wanted. Talking to other men, many also said, their greatest want was to be wanted by their spouse.

    While I do agree with certain points on Alex's list, there is one in particular that I think (and know from personal experience; depending on the person) women are indifferent about which is being tall. I am a man, currently in a 5 year long relationship where my girlfriend is 6'1 and I am 5'7. From personal experience, it is about being confident in who you are as a person and the right people will make there way into your life, regardless of height. Either sex/partner can be the "tall one" in a relationship. I truly believe it is important to challenge societal norms (the man being taller than the woman) and ask yourself "Is this the way I should be going about my life?". Great video Courtney!! The "status" perk was an interesting take because I feel as though it's broader than the first initial thought that enters the mind. This also encompasses how a man interacts with his surroundings, how he speaks to people, how he talks to his family, how he treats animals, sometimes despite perhaps not having a title or social media following that demands respect or admiration can also be redeemed through his charisma and his certainty in how he flows through life and I think that women still intuitively pick up these vibes and find them attractive.

I secularly married someone that after a while, they ranked at 5th or 6th in attractiveness and just wanting to be with them overall. So when I was finally done with them, I realized that getting over them was easy as could be, because they never meant that much in the first place. I just didn't really know it at the time. Now the ones I dated that were number 1,2 or even 3.... they are a whole different level. I was madly in love and very attracted to them and even though it has been decades, I often think and miss them at least 2 or 3 times a week. Nothing even remotely close to that heartfelt emotions with the one that I was legally married to.

    Alex's number 8, I'd like to weigh in on. I'm 25 and my girlfriend of almost 2 years is 56 going on 57. One thing we really admire about each other is that we are constantly learning from each other. Even though she has far more life experience, I bring a fresh perspective and some knowledge that she doesn't have and vice versa. So sometimes it's not about the age that correlates to being able to look up to someone, although age tends to scale with that.

    Wow. You are one cool person. We all observe others. Well, while I was observing you in this video I was so damn impressed with your responses your honesty, intelligence your ability to logically make conclusions without bias. That takes a lot of effort to initiate all of those filters so you truly present a valuable video for people to watch. You are in it for the right reasons. Searching for the real truths seeing all possible sides. Nothing is definite. These are important points that you drove home and often reminding your audience of those truths. You are a leader of a woman and are doing cool great things for those looking to better understand this crazy cool world. All the best! 🖐🏻

    Another one I would add to the list: comfort zone. Many women will select a mate from a familiar social milieu as regards to culture, class, nationality etc. Going with what is familiar, is perhaps the safest option.

    He’s got such good points! I’m glad he’s focusing on things beyond what we’re supposed to politely look for in men. I used to naively think attractiveness shouldn’t matter, (obviously it should) and that money shouldn’t matter- but then I learned that it really does tell you something about that person. if someone is doing well - they are good at their job, they take it seriously, they think ahead and they manage their money responsibly, that’s the person you want to be tied to long-term. Whoever you commit yourself to, you both are putting your bets on each other that you have a strong teammate and they’re going in a direction you also want to go in (Career or otherwise).

    Does that mean the girl who seeks a well-to-do man, must also be well-to-do? After all, they're a "team" right? They're both working hard to achieve the same things, RIGHT? And if they're both on the same page, and both value the same things, and are both doing it right - you know, using their time wisely and all those other good things that any respectable person would be doing, so that they can be a match - they'd both have pretty much equal success, RIGHT? So tell me again how many women seeking well-to-do men are also as well-to-do as the men they're seeking? Or even close? Oh, ok, let's put it another way then: how many women want men who make about the same as they do? I'll wait while you find out, and get back to me.

    So many "advice" videos on KZread.....both by men OR women.....are based on hostility. There's a strong thread of anger by and for the opposite gender, which I think alienates (as well as attracts) a lot of viewers. This is why I enjoy watching Courtney so much......she's very objective and almost unemotional about her opinions. I don't always agree with what she says, and much of what she observes doesn't even apply to me anymore, due to my age. (70) I feel empathy for young men AND women navigating the dating world today. It REALLY was much less complicated when I was in my teens and early twenties. But.....I'm still optimistic that someday I'll come across Ms. Right. 🙂

    Remember guys women supposedly aren’t superficial. She just admitted that most if not all women would never even consider dating someone shorter than they are which is 100% superficial considering a man has no control over how tall he ends up being. In reality women in general are much more superficial than men and men are a lot more forgiving when it comes to accepting women’s physical flaws vs women accepting men’s flaws.
